I felt very comfortable walking along the path oh, my soul felt very at ease here. I see cats these little refuges within cities, these little retreats to what the world once was before progress put much of it under asphalt and cement. This park is a great addition to this community. I recommend a visit here if you find yourself in the Conway area of Orlando. It is a great place to chill, to unwind, and to focus not so much as the world around you, but rather the world within you.

The stump remains. There used to be an incredible piece of art carved into the tree. There are still other great trees remaining though. Lots of trees. One time I went there on a cool autumn morning and I thought I had passed into dog HEAVEN!!! The fancy dog rescue groups met up and there were tons of incredible dog breeds, especially the ones that look like big fluffy mops. I've been here numerous times, & this park means a lot to me. I have incredible memories. *Beware of the lake, there might be alligators. (I used to enjoy watching the sailboat lessons.) *Best if you wear boots. Last time I ended up with a bunch of dirt in my shoes. *I've only seen 2 dog fights. Stay close to your dog. *Once, I saw what appeared to be coyote fur on a fence, there might be one around there sometimes. The walking trails in the woods/forest part is really fun. A guy used to play his guitar in a center area. I like walking my dogs through the woods there. Sad when I see my dogs years later unable to walk like they previously could, or disoriented, lost in there. We sure did enjoy that park extensively. Bring dog shampoo & a towel if you want, the dog shower bench is free.

She smells all the dog butts and runs around at hyper speed.  The dog park had doggy pools and a dog water area. Our dog is so tired out for the rest of the day when we get home. There is a free admission Howl-o-ween dog Halloween event here on October 21, 2019 from 6-8pm. The event will have a dog costume contest, dog treats and dog ice cream.

The park is very beautiful with lots of fountains, including a large one on the lake. There are various restaurants, apartment complex, and shopping areas around the park. You can also rent a swan boat and buy food for the fishes. The kids can play in the playground while enjoying ice cream at Bruster's. Now that I know this is here, I plan on coming back to check out more events, the Food Factory food hall, and a return trip to the Crazy Cork wine bar. There's a huge playground, splash pad, walking paths, sports courts, skate park, dog park, and plenty of open space to just relax. What I like most is that it never feels overly crowded or chaotic even when there are a lot of people there. It has a really laid back atmosphere and there's something for everyone whether you're bringing kids, skating, walking your dog, or just trying to get outside for a bit. The shaded areas and lake views make it even better, especially during sunset. Definitely one of the best public parks in Orlando and a spot I'll keep coming back to
