This is a really beautiful park with different amenities. There's a walking trail, sports field, fishing dock, playground , and picnic areas. You can go kayaking but there are warning signs of alligators and snakes. I personally wouldn't take the risk and thankfully No alligators and snakes in sight. It's dog friendly. It's very clean. You can take beautiful picture by the dock. You get nothing but blue skies surround by nature. There is a bathroom house as well. The picnic are has a limit of ten people due to COVID. It's surround by different plants and trees and shaded if it gets too hot. Very big parking lot. Overall this park is very well maintained.

Young Pine Community Park is a beautiful park with a walking trail around a lake, a safe playground for kids, and two large dog parks. I bring my dog here often because he loves to run and explore, and the dog parks have mini "forests" inside the enclosures, which gives Leo (my Pomsky) the chance to explore in the safety of the park. The two parks are designated for big dogs and small dogs. There are waste bags and water fountains for the dogs, and there are shaded bench areas for the humans. Young Pine Park has the best facilities of any park I have been to in the East Orlando area. It is kept up, clean, and provides a great outdoor experience for the whole family, even the fur babies!

A perfectly designed playground for 2 year olds and up! First of all, it's completely fenced in. This is hard to find for some odd reason. As a mother of a toddler who likes to run and explore, I'm very happy with fenced spaces. It allows me to relax (a little) and not have to constantly be running across fields to grab my speedy- fast little one. The playground features recycled rubber flooring to ensure safe landings when your toddler inevitably trips over his own feet. There are triangular shades over much of the play structure itself: a must-have during hot Florida summers. There are plenty of climbing structures to satisfy climbers of all childhood ages. Multiple slides of varying heights as well. The restrooms are ultra clean and have changing tables. The only thing this park was missing was baby swings for the under 2 crowd.

The second playground is at the south end of the parking lot, near the canoe/boat launch and dock, and dog park.

The stump remains. There used to be an incredible piece of art carved into the tree. There are still other great trees remaining though. Lots of trees. One time I went there on a cool autumn morning and I thought I had passed into dog HEAVEN!!! The fancy dog rescue groups met up and there were tons of incredible dog breeds, especially the ones that look like big fluffy mops. I've been here numerous times, & this park means a lot to me. I have incredible memories. *Beware of the lake, there might be alligators. (I used to enjoy watching the sailboat lessons.) *Best if you wear boots. Last time I ended up with a bunch of dirt in my shoes. *I've only seen 2 dog fights. Stay close to your dog. *Once, I saw what appeared to be coyote fur on a fence, there might be one around there sometimes. The walking trails in the woods/forest part is really fun. A guy used to play his guitar in a center area. I like walking my dogs through the woods there. Sad when I see my dogs years later unable to walk like they previously could, or disoriented, lost in there. We sure did enjoy that park extensively. Bring dog shampoo & a towel if you want, the dog shower bench is free.

The lake area is a bit unkempt compared to the rest of the area, but it's still nice to Walk around. The sidewalk area is in good condition too.
