Wanted to get a good jalapeño sausage roll (or kolache depending on where you're from) so I checked them out. When I entered I was promptly greeted by one of the owners. She was super friendly and attentive. I ordered two jumbo jalapeño sausage kolaches and had it warmed up. They were a good size and made for a delicious breakfast. I also ordered a blueberry donut (my weakness) and to my surprise when I got home, they threw in two little donut holes as well. I loved that it's family owned and that they have a good selection. Especially their kolaches as they had minis, regular, and jumbo; so all the sizes to share. The inside has table for you to enjoy at their place. They have a great selection of cake and yeast donuts to try. So something for everyone. I highly recommend checking them out. read more

Tried this little place for the first time today and I'm very happy . We tried a variety of things from kolaches (they have mini, medium and large kolaches, both regular and Jalapeno), to maple bars and glazed donuts. My two boys (3 and 7) gobbled down their donuts and mini kolaches like never before and said they loved them. . The Jalapeno kolaches actually had quite a bit of Jalapeno in it, so watch out, but I thoroughly enjoyed them. The jelly filled donut was excellent as well. The staff was very friendly as well and even threw in some extra donut holes for free. From all the places we've tried in Allen, this is the best donut shop so far. read more

Yummy doughnuts! This place is unassuming, and no frills. There seems to be a bunch of these mom and pop doughnut places here in Allen TX. I came here because my family loves this one the best, and I concur. I got a half dozen to bring back to the nephews. I got an assortment, and I got to taste the red velvet cake doughnut---delicious! It was moist yet firm, and wasn't too sweet (it had a light sugar glaze on top). I think it's a Texas thing where they give you a few complimentary doughnut holes with one's order. My daughter and I did a taste test by going to all the donut shops in Allen and tried a couple of donuts from each shop (yes we shared... that's too many donuts for us Haha!). My family and I've been going here for over 10 years. Their jalapeño cheese kolaches and sausage cheese kolaches have always been my favorite-- no one in the area makes the kolache dough as good as theirs! My nieces love their decorated donuts (but what kid doesn't like frosted donuts?) and the ladies here always throw in extra donut holes if we order a lot. We are new to the Dallas area and noticed donut shops in almost every corner. So after checking on Yelp we decided to try Young's. We are so glad that we did! The donuts are amazing! Very fresh, not over the top sweet, and the density was perfect! We got a variety of glazed, frosted, chocolates, old fashion, blueberry, and cinnamon rolls and none of them disappointed! They give a handful of donuts holes as a bonus. The 2 ladies behind the counter were so nice. The shop isn't fancy and the set up is pretty basic. The line was to the door when we went so that's always a good sign the place is good! Would like to try other shops before deciding if this will be our go to donut shop. First time visit this morning - and will always come here when I want donuts in the future! I ordered my typical trial order that I use when I'm trying a new donut shop: sausage rolls, a glazed, and a sour cream cake. And they were all excellent! The have mini sausage rolls (kollaches) that were perfect! The glazed donut melted in my mouth - so light, and with wonderful flavor! The sour cream cake donut was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside with wonderful creamy flavor. I'll be back! read more
