Wish I can give Young Cleaner zero stars because that is what it deserves. Brought in a white jacket for my wife to have cleaned. When I picked it up, the jacket had a bunch of big new stains (yellow and black). The jacket wasn't cleaned properly. Then they lied and said it was already that way. Terrible work quality and even worse customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place! read more

Started going here after my old cleaner moved out of Olympia to Lacey. Always does an exceptional job for my dress shirts. Any stain or dirtying around the collar and cuffs is always gone when I pick my clothes up. And the price is good and pickup time quick. I would recommend to others. read more

Please listen to the other reviewers!! I wish I had checked before dropping off a pair of white jeans to have the pockets removed. They sewed the pockets shut but left the pocket material in... I had described wanting that fabric removed because it shows through the pants. The owner, who was not present when I dropped them off told me I didn't describe it correctly, and I needed to "understand my pants," whatever that is supposed to mean! He said I shouldn't have said to "close the pockets," when I didn't say that at all, I asked to "remove the pockets." When I got home I noticed they also sewed the back pockets shut, which was never discussed at all! They also took it upon themselves to remove all of the tags from my new pants, not sure why that was any of their concern. Come here if you want a bunch of random alterations made to your clothes at their whim! Otherwise stay away. read more

Should have paid heed to prior poster but didn't have a whole lot of options. Dropped off jacket for dry cleaning on Friday, told it would be done Tuesday after two. That seemed long, but ok. Stopped in at 12:30pm on Tuesday; granted, it was ninety minutes before the time quoted, but I was already in the area, and had hoped to just grab it. Instead, told to come back after 5:00pm. Came back at 5:45pm, and it's still not done. Told five more minutes, which means they probably haven't gotten to it and are just gonna rush it through. Not very happy. Will never return. read more

I am usually not one to complain but this place really got to me. It was the first time I'd ever had anything dry cleaned in my life. On a Wednesday, I dropped off a dress with the owner. I needed some water marks cleaned from the bottom, dark silver portion of the dress for a ball on Saturday. He told me "No problem. $27, pick up Friday after 2." Sounded great to me. Went in to get it on Friday and there was a different guy working. He puts my dress on the hanging rack in front of me and immediately I notice black spots all over the top, lighter silver portion of my dress. I ask him if he knows what this stuff is on my dress and he is just as clueless as I am. I tell him that the marks were certainly not there when I dropped the dress off and he just shrugs his shoulders like he couldn't care less. So I then ask for the owner. "He's not here, he'll be back Monday" to which I reply "so if I leave this for y'all to clean again, will it be done tomorrow by 5?" he literally just shook his head. Then I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying $27 for a dress that is dirtier than it was when I dropped it off. He tells me he can't take anything off the price because it will put his job on the line. Completely understandable. I'm not trying to get someone fired. So I asked him to call his boss and he says "I don't have his number. He'll be back Monday." I need a clean dress TOMORROW, not Monday. After going back and forth for a good 10 minutes I finally tell him "I will NOT be paying $27 for them 'cleaning' my dress and he needs to figure out what to do." So he walks toward the back of the shop and pulls out his cell to make a call. He is back there a few minutes then he brings the phone and hands it to me. This is my favorite part too, the contact on his cell phone says "Mr. Young." Ohhh I thought you didn't have his number, guy?! You damn liar. So I talk to the owner and tell him the same thing I told the other guy. He argues with me for a few minutes about how there's no guarantee that the dress will be cleaned. I told him I understand that but the fact that it's DIRTIER than two days ago really upsets me. He tells me over the phone to pay the guy $20 then hangs up. The guy asked "what did he say?" so I handed him a $10 bill grabbed my dress and left. I will NEVER return to this place. The customer service was horrible and the actual dry clean service was even worse. I'd leave 1 star if this place had any other reviews but although they angered me to no end I don't want to ruin his business. In the end, I had to try and get the spots off my dress by myself and he never even removed the marks that I originally went in for. I wish I'd taken pictures to show everyone but I gave the dress away last week. read more

We are absolutely disappointed with Young Cleaner. We took in 8 pair of my corduroy pants, 11 of my sweater shirts, 7 of my wife's cashmere sweaters, and 1 cotton Ralph Lauren sweater, all to be dry-cleaned. All were shrunken considerably ...to the point that they can no longer be worn by us. We should have learned after they botched shortening and cuffing a pair of dress khaki pants. The RL was so shrunken that my wife gave it to our 11-year old granddaughter. I talked to whom I believe was the owner's son whose response to my complaint was, "dry cleaning does not shrink clothing." My response was, "exactly, properly dry-cleaned clothing does not shrink, which is why we brought them in to be dry-cleaned ... they were washed!" We will never return. read more

I will never be returning to this cleaner. I brought my jeans in to be hemmed on a Monday and they told me to pick up Thursday after 1. I went in Thursday at 1:15 to pick them up and saw them sitting on the counter. I asked if they were ready and they had a tag that said zipper repair. I told him the zipper didn't need to be repaired and they were supposed to be hemmed and ready to pickup today at 1. He said there is absolutely no way he could get the pants done in the next 2 hours before I had to leave. Really nice customer service I suppose, glad I didn't prepay like they asked!! I've been a customer here for over 2 years, but I guess that doesn't mean anything to these people. read more

We have used them for several years with little problem until recently. This business has been sold and it has become unreliable. 1.Several times there have been "rust" type stains on white dress shirts, after complaining they were removed. 2. New, never worn suit pants were suppose to be let out one inch in the waist. They took it in an inch. When showed the receipt that says "let out" they let it back out. Unfortunately they removed so much material from the mistake that it would not go out an inch, the seam is not well done and there are pulled threads in the material. Brand new slacks never worn, ruined. Will consider small claims court and look for another cleaner. read more
