Needed my sport coat pressed for a conference. Dropped it off Monday morning and asked to have it ready on Thursday. The owner was super friendly when I dropped it off, and the worker who helped me when I picked it up was nice too. My coat looked great, although the collar was pressed incorrectly (the crease went over the top button). Other than that, the corduroy was cleaned and intact for a fair price. I normally don't leave reviews, but I had such a terrible experience with this place that I feel compelled to share my experience with others. In fact, it was the worst dry cleaning experience I have ever had in my life. I was in town for a wedding. I was a bridesmaid, and my pleated navy blue dress had some wrinkles from being folded up in a suitcase. Although not too noticeable, I still wanted to get the wrinkles steamed out so that I felt super confident in the dress. I purposely chose this dry cleaner because the reviews were pretty good. I dropped my dress off on a Tuesday - I made it very clear to the woman at the desk that I wanted the wrinkles steamed out, and I pointed to them. NOT the pleats, I said. Just the stray wrinkles. She said of course, we would never iron out pleats. And she said the dress would be ready for pickup Thursday. I went back Thursday and had a complete meltdown upon seeing my dress. They literally ironed out ALL of the pleats. I started crying - this was INSANE. Why would anyone iron out pleats?? They quickly got me on the phone with the owner, and I explained the situation. All I wanted was the wrinkles to be steamed out, not the pleats to be ironed out. She asked me what she would like them to do, and I said iron back in every single pleat. The wedding was Saturday, so I needed the dress Friday (the next day). She said "we will try our best" - which made me furious because it was their fault in the first place. Anyway, I came back the next day (Friday). They ironed back all of the pleats, thank god - but left black marks from the iron. Luckily my dress was dark navy so the black spots weren't that noticeable, but I was shocked that they were returning the dress in this state. The owner was there, and when I pointed out the black marks, she said they would have to dry clean the dress - which would take out all the pleats - and then iron the pleats back in. She said they had already spent hours that very morning ironing back all the pleats. The owner made me feel as if the black marks were my fault, when they clearly weren't - it was a new dress! And from the beginning, the owner made me feel like it was my miscommunication which had caused the whole pleats ordeal in the first place. The woman who originally accepted my dress on Tuesday was not there Thursday or Friday - making me suspicious that she knew something had gone wrong. If you care about your clothing, do NOT go to this place. The whole situation was extremely stressful and cost me over $200 in Ubers. The owner ended by saying "tell you what, we won't charge you" - umm, NO KIDDING! I would never pay for this type of service. If anything, she should pay me for the Uber rides I had to take going back and forth a total of 6 times. read more

Brought in some stuff before the holidays and they were great about having it done in time for travel. Everything looks perfectly clean and pressed. I like them for both dry cleaning and laundry my shirts. Pricewise it's not a great deal but it isn't really anywhere in town that I could see... I was pleased with the prices quoted here, so I decided to drop off the jacket and pants. The lady who greeted me was very courteous and went out of her way to introduce herself. I immediately felt like my business was valued, so that was a positive sign. When I returned a few days later, the items were ready and they looked great. Super Cleaners even sewed a loose button on the jacket at no extra charge. It's the little things like this that make a difference. My second experience here was "okay". I took in two jackets, which had some minor marks/stains from wear that I wanted to rid of before putting them to use this winter. One of my jackets came back in pristine shape; however, my nylon jacket did not look so good. One of the ladies informed me that nylon may crack if dry cleaned, but said that she would give it a shot. I was at least expecting some of the stains to be rid of, but more than 85% of the marks are still visible. I'm not mad that I paid full price for a 50% success rate, but more dissatisfied with the fact that they did not bother to inform me that they were not successful. Will be coming back in the future, but would not recommend dry cleaning nylon clothing. read more

Have only used them once so far. There's no bike parking but there were sign posts where I could lock my bike. They honored my request not to wrap my finished dry cleaning in plastic (so much plastic waste!). When I pointed out that one of the small stains hadn't been removed in cleaning, my jacket was whisked away and in a minute or less the stain was removed and I was ready to go. $20 for two blazers, which is on-par with prices I've experienced elsewhere. (The blazers were regular wool-blend, not anything special or decorated.) read more

I took my dry cleaning here based on all the positive Yelp reviews and was shocked. This is the most expensive dry cleaner I've experienced. I took in a few of my husband's dress shirts and since I was going in took in two women's tanks. The tanks were not a delicate/dry clean only material but I figured I would throw them in. When I dropped them off and received my slip I was shocked to see $7 a shirt. The lady informed me that all women's shirts for "laundry" start at $7. Let's just say I'm not going back. read more

I dropped off two dresses here after reading all the positive reviews. The staff is friendly and polite, and they were excited that I was trying them out for the first time. My dresses came back CLEAN. My lbd was BLACK -- that nice, blacker than black -- with the deodorant marks around the armpits completely removed (a previous dry cleaner hadn't managed to get them out). A lot of care was clearly taken to press my clothes properly, as all the pleats in one of the skirts were perfect (better than when I bought it). These guys clearly take pride in their work. I thought the price was reasonable: $25.98 total. I've paid the same in other parts of the country (Buffalo, NY; Tucson, AZ). My only complaint is that my clothes came back smelling strongly of "clean laundry" smell. It is a pleasant smell, but overpowering, especially because I use mostly scent-free products at home (I'm allergic to most fragrances). The smell was so strong that I had to roll all the windows in my car down in order to make it back to Shelton. I was under the impression the dry cleaning industry standard was to return clothes with no scent? I'm not sure if they add fragrance, or if they didn't evaporate all the cleaning solvent out of my clothes (I really hope it's the former). So, I'd go back. This is the only dry cleaners I will take my business to. The name is totally apt. The service is AMAZING. I have tried at least five other cleaners in the general area and have been so disappointed. I was thrilled to find Super Cleaners. The very kind woman at the front desk remembers my name (!!!) even when it might have been a month since my last visit. I've needed an order ready in a hurry, and she's always gone out of her way to ensure timely delivery. Once, I accidentally arrived earlier than the promised time, and they stopped everything to get my clothes finished so I didn't have to wait around. I LOVE this pace. The quality of work and the excellent service keeps me as a loyal customer. They even have a coupon that goes out in the mail several times a year. Prices are super reasonable and how wonderful is it that someone takes the time to remember your name and your dry cleaning preferences? Top notch! The only thing that could make it better would be to have same day service available, but I'm not at all complaining! I recently had jacket sleeves shortened. I asked at the desk before leaving it if they could shorten it to look like the original finish. When I picked it up it was not like the original finish.
