This has been my go to dry cleaners/drop off laundry spot for almost a year. After moving to the Upper Eastside I was looking for a spot that was 1) close to my apartment 2) wouldn't break the bank 3) friendly customer service. This spot checks all the boxes. Honestly, I'm not sure how this spot compares to others in regard to pricing, but I haven't felt the need to shop around. As soon as I walk in they know my name, address, and are quick to hand me my ticket. Now that's what I call stellar customer service! My laundry is ALWAYS ready within 24hrs. Been using them for years for dry cleaning and tailoring. Always very satisfied, until my washer broke and I needed to use them for regular laundry. I dropped off my laundry (there was a woman- who is the owner I believe) Specifically said I wanted them to use hot water. No problem they said. The fourth time I went, I spoke to a younger guy and mentioned I wanted them to use hot water. He told me they don't have a hot water line and only use cold. He was super nice and told me if needed hot water I would have to go to a local laundromat. Appreciated his honesty but what the hell? read more

So far so good. My quip for many Cleaners, not just this one, are the charges for "household items". How is it justifiable to charge $35 per sheet and $10 per pillow case? That's $100 to clean my sheets weekly. How is that reasonable? Are flat sheets more difficult to wash than my shirts? I can easily buy a new sheet set for $20. I guess I'll be taking the sheets elsewhere (or buying new ones). read more

We had a TON of laundry to clean (several big bags that were a mix of wash/fold, dry cleaning, and leather cleaning) and they did an awesome job. I told them which bags were what, and even prioritized the different bags with them (there was one wash/fold bag that I needed back asap, which they finished and delivered to me on the same day). I only had to tell them once, and everything came back as expected. I also had my jeans hemmed here once. They did a good job (pretty straightforward work). They do free drop offs and pick ups in the neighborhood. My super recommended them to me (our building uses them as well), and I've only had good experiences with them. read more

I love this place. Everyone who works here is super friendly and they know you by name. I drop off my wash and fold clothes in the morning and by the time I get off work, they're cleaned, folded and ready for pickup. I've never had a problem with Youme and they're prices are very reasonable. Even when I get things dry cleaned, I've waited no longer than 2 days to get them back, and they pay attention to detail with your clothes. I'm so happy I discovered this place, seriously, I've never had a problem with my clothes, timing or pricing. If you plan to use a debit/credit card it's a $10 minimum but again, never been a problem. This place is golden. read more

I love the service here - they are the consummate professionals. The staff is so friendly and knowledgable and the quality is very high. I love how they have all their certifications and awards (who even knew that dry cleaners are supposed to have these) posted for everyone to see. They also call if they notice stains that need dry cleaning instead. So awesome. They are so fast and fairly priced for the area - they have never misplaced anything. Nothing makes me happier than the fact that they offer door to door pickup and drop off. The guy that usually works is really friendly. While others complain about the fact that certain "unnecessary" things are sent to dry cleaning, personally I appreciate that they pay that level of attention so I don't stick something on the wrong pile. Great and quick service! Sent them my blazer to get cleaned and to remove stains. They were able to do it no problem. I also had them stitch new faux leather on to the inner lining of my coat pocket flaps and collar. This was also done well and wasn't too expensive. So I would say their tailoring service is pretty useful. Pricing seems to be reasonable and the dry cleaning services usually take 2 days at most. read more

Ask me a year ago and my review would have been different, however the quality of the service has continued to go down. They have lost an item of clothing and most recently my sweaters came back smelling like body odor (they did not go to the cleaners smelling like this). I don't know what they dry cleaned my clothes with but this is unacceptable. I have since taken my clothes to a new dry cleaner and the odor on my sweaters still lingers (that's how potent it was). I had been a loyal customer for years, even after I moved. But this was two strikes and I wasn't going to wait for 3 to decide to take my business elsewhere. read more

Reasonable prices and fast turn around. I have had dry cleaning and alterations done and quality and price were excellent every time. DO NOT SEND YOUR LAUNDRY HERE We live in the building across the street and have used Youme for wash/dry/fold. They have repeatedly mixed up our clothes with other customers and lost track of laundry. Customer service is terrible, they try to blame the customer or the apartment building, and are extremely rude, but inevitably it is their mistake. They are reasonably priced, but just beware that when you send your laundry here, you are rolling the dice for if/when you will ever see it again. read more

The sweetest lady owns this place. I've only had them pick up and drop off wash and fold but it was able to be ready same day. And when you call to have it picked up they can come within the hour. Couldn't find my laundry bag and they let me give it to them in duffles and returned it packed nicely in those duffles. After a year of using this as my #1 laundry service I have to cut ties. It's unfortunate as when I first began using their services I had no problems- however after having several issues I just can't continue using their services. Here is where the issues began: I dropped off several items (some wash and fold some hang dry) and after getting my laundry delivered I was missing over 25 lulu lemon items I don't choose to dry all of the way. After calling I was told "I must have not sent them out and to please check the bags again." After explaining I 100% had dropped them off they found them separate from my laundry bag... this hostile altercation I forgave and continued to use their services. Then after a few washes of my whites beginning to look dull I voiced my concern. (I have been separating my whites the previous 8 months after being told I can pay extra to have them separately washed- I assumed this was still the case after doing this for months) well I later am told that they don't wash anything separately- so now all of my white clothing is gray. Lovely. This I forgave and wash my own whites at the laundromat down my street occasionally.. But the reason I had to stop using this service is that the "free pick up and delivery" DOES NOT EXIST AND IS NOT RELIABLE. I was told very different time frames that they do pick up and delivery- almost weekly. One week it's before 6:30. The next before 6:15. In the morning it's by 8:00. The next week not until 8:45. Today I called at 6:00 and was told that there was nobody to pick up my laundry- ridiculous. I have asked if it depends on the days because I want to plan around this and each time I'm told no not today will have to come tomorrow. Well I'm tired of it. There is zero consistency and zero customer service. There should be a set time frame daily that their services are available. I'm not sure if management changed since my problems began in the last 3 months but I will not be going here anymore and should have stopped after being told I "must not be seeing my clothes in my laundry bag..." read more

DO NOT GO HERE, THEY LOST MY LAUNDRY and tell me "maybe you brought it somewhere else." My nanny brought in 2 work slacks and 2 sweaters, about $300 worth of clothes, and they never delivered it. I contacted them and they said they don't have it and maybe we brought it somewhere else. Of course we know where we brought it, it is the only place directly across from my building. They refuse to let me speak with the owner and say the person that the items were given to are on vacation for 7 weeks or so. If/when he returns, they will ask him if he recalls the items. Consistently send normal laundry to dry cleaner to make an extra buck. Laundry service is typically fine. You have to be EXPLICIT with them about what goes to laundry vs dry cleaner, or you will be spending hundreds per month. Be very careful about what goes to dry cleaning, and you should be fine. read more
