HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHILI OIL WONTONS IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!! My man and I discovered this hole in the wall and immediately fell in love with this place. They have iPads on each table which is super efficient and convenient to order. Almost every single item on the menu is finger-licking good, but the best imo would be their chili oil wontons. It does lean more towards the sour side bc it's got vinegar but I enjoy it a lot. It's worth a try! Prices are super reasonable and portions are great. You Kitchen has definitely become one of my go-to spots!

Came here on a whim after checking out Valley Bowl's soft opening. The family needed dinner and since it had noodle posters we chose here. We ordered 4 things and they were all great. The price is pretty decent. Perhaps a college hangout at night? Front lady was nice and efficient. We'll be back.

Mom and pop shop serving soup dumplings, fried potstickers, wontons, noodles, pork buns, etc. One item that caught my eye was the Big Mouth Pancake available with pork, beef, or chicken). According to the store owner, very few restaurants have this dish on their menu. It's crispy sesame bread pastry covered with sesame seeds and stuffed with meat inside. The beef rolls was with a lighter crunch and soft baked texture. Service was quick and food came out fast.

Definitely give this place a try! It was my first time trying this place so I got a few different things. My favorite was the Big Mouth Pancake which was very crispy and had a hint of sweetness to it. It was around $11.00 depending on the choice of meat option. I also got the spicy wontons which were very flavor and would definitely get again. One of the items I got which isn't shown in the photos is the Papaya Milk Smoothie which was decent. It wasn't too sweet but the papaya flavor wasn't as strong as I preferred it to be. As for the service, it was great!

I've never actually eaten here, but I always swing by to grab their frozen dumplings, and they're totally worth it. They're a bit pricier than the store-bought ones, but they're handmade, and the skins are just right--not too thick or thin. The fillings are always juicy, flavorful, and packed in pretty decent-sized dumplings. For $30-$40, you get 50 pieces depending on the filling, so it's a good deal. This time, I got the shrimp, pork, and chive dumplings, which were fire. I also tried the fish dumplings, and they didn't disappoint--super plump and tasty. I also grabbed their Big Mouth Pocket Bread with pork filling, and it was so good. The bread was crispy, light, and just hit the spot with the savory filling. Overall, a solid spot for dumplings. I'll definitely keep coming back to stock up and maybe try something new next time!

Amazon fresh beef roll! Way better than noodle 101 next door. Friendlier service here too.

Oh man! This is a family owned delicious restaurant. The lady is sweet who works here. Our food was bomb. Cucumber salad little spicy how I like it. It was perfect with the garlic taste. Beef roll is on point always get it with extra sauce inside. The big fat pork pocket is crispy outside and soft juicy ground meat inside. Chicken & mushroom dumplings were decent. Next time we will get them steamed rather than boiled. The spicy pork wontons were perfection! They do take cards! Parking is plenty as well.

Really great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant, great if you just want some simple fast food. They are known for their dumplings and baos, of which you can buy handmade frozen ones. My favorite dish was their a Big Mouth Pork -- super crispy thin outer layer covering tasty ground pork -- one order comes with 4 pieces, leaves you wanting more! Also got the Thousand layer pancake which was crispy and delicious. Not as impressed with the zha jia mian, but I did like the chewiness of their hand pulled noodles -- would want to try it with their beef noodle soup. Spicy cucumbers was a huge plate well worth the price. I appreciated they had small ordering kiosk tablets at every table, with English and Chinese and photos of almost every single dish, made it super easy to order. Service was fast and friendly. Lots of free parking in the lot.

In this home-cooking-style dumpling house, you can get all different types of dumplings and bao, a variety of meats and fillings. We shared an order of XLB, steamed lamb dumplings, pork and cabbage potstickers, scallion pancakes, and open-faced pancakes. Everything was freshly made and totally worth the wait. XLB is not very special, but the dumplings were so delicious, the open-faced pancakes were crispy, and the marinated beef slices were seasoned just perfectly. I also got a bag of frozen dumplings and bao for to-go, very reasonably priced, high quality food.

You kitchen. The store is clean but the booth seats have slightly less space than normal. The staff is nice and friendly. Ordering on the iPad is super nice and convenient. The spicy wontons were good and it was cool that they were small but came with more.

I've come here many times--it's one of my favorite restaurants. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, but honestly, it's hard to pick a favorite because everything is delicious. Highly recommend the dumplings--they're handmade, and you can even buy them frozen at a great price. The server reminds me of my aunties, and the food tastes like grandma made it. It's like a cozy Sunday at mom's, and she just brought out the menudo. I also love that the music stays true to the culture. They play Mandarin songs, not some watered-down English playlist. It makes the whole experience feel authentic--like I've been invited into someone's home. I'm always happy here.

Leek pocket - one of the best I've had
Tai C.

Small hole in the wall restaurant same plaza as 101 noodle express. First time trying their food and they did not disappoint. The chive pockets are some of the best I've had. Thin crispy skin well seasoned. Shrimp fried noodles were good as well. Not too greasy. The grasping pancake was excellent as well. Crispy and delicious. Can't find them in many restaurants anymore. Shrimp pork chive dumplings were good. SLB was a bit dry though. The meatball soup was tasty but way too salty. I had to dilute it with water. Wonton soup was so so. Will definitely go back and try other menu items. Service was great. Lady packaged my food well and helped me take them apart just to double verify all the food was there and correct. She didn't get offended that I wanted to double check since there were several other orders there. I changed one of the orders last minute (but before they made it) and they were very accommodating and not upset. Highly recommend.

How this place isn't busier boggles my mind. The dumplings really are so good. Delicious. Beef roll was good but not the best we've had. The noodle soup was pretty good but I felt the dumplings were really the star. The service was great and super friendly as well.

Service here is pretty standard when it comes to your typical Chinese restaurant. You'll have staff designated to your area and they're pretty quick with refilling teapots and any requests. As for ordering, there's a QR code to browse the menu and order. Chinese and English are available so there shouldn't be any problems. Pictures are provided as well through the menu which is a nice plus. Food came out pretty fast, and since we were a 2 table party, each table took turns getting their dishes first. Seafood here is a great option, portions are huge for most dishes, making it perfect to share. My favorite among the dishes is certainly the Walnut Shrimp. It's a classic amongst plenty of Chinese restaurants and Lunasia is up there when it comes to quality. Overall, a decent experience, been here plenty of times for dimsum and it's always quick and quality food. Dinner was decent but nothing too over the top. We ordered A LOT so I'll just touch upon some dishes: -Our favorite item was the egg tart but maybe because it came straight out of the oven so it was piping hot. The crust was super flaky, and custard was velvety smooth and not too sweet. We were so tempted to get seconds but we were too full. -The bean curd wrapped with shrimp and pork was on point as well. -The chicken feet didn't really meet expectations. Normally I like it, but I wasn't impressed by this one. -the ham sui gok was good but I feel like it could've used more filling -fried rice had big juicy shrimp but rice was on the saltier side -Inconsistent crystal wrapper textures across all the different crystal skin dumplings. Some mushy, which I don't like. Some chewy, which I do like. The fillings were delicious though. Cart workers are a little pushy when it came to dishes they wanted to get rid of. TIP: Best to get stuff when it's hot and hasn't been sitting in the cart. Can accommodate large groups as it is Chinese banquet style seating with large round rotating tables. Having grown up with NYC and SF dim sum, NBC is one of the few Los Angeles area places that has the selection and flavors of my childhood. Some favorites were the har gow, taro puffs, and tripe. We got the roast duck but it wasn't very meaty or flavorful. We got the congee which was ok, but lacked any definite personality. The chewy fried dumplings were more dough than filling. The siu mai and veggie dumplings were both solid. I didn't try the bitter melon or turnip cakes because I don't like the taste of either, but I was happy to see them available. We got a claypot rice dish with spare ribs and Chinese sausage which was good but the rice was not crispy on the bottom. I saw they had chicken feet, which I usually love but they didn't look appetizing enough to order. Would definitely go back for other dishes and with more people so we could sample more selections.

Perfect family dim sum experience for us…read more We took out my parents and in-laws for dim sum: my parents' very first time ever. We did wait about an hour, but honestly I didn't mind at all because it gave us a chance to relax, talk, and catch up as a family. Once we were seated, my parents were immediately impressed with the decor: elegant and cultural without feeling overly modern or cold. And can we talk about the tea kettles? They looked like literal pieces of art being poured at the table. Ordering was super easy with the QR code system, so my husband handled the whole spread: shumai dumplings, chicken feet, sesame balls, and more. Everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The ENTIRE table agreed on one thing: the chili oil condiment deserves to be sold in bottles to take home. It was that good. Smoky, just the right amount of spicy, and addictive. Now for the real test: my in-laws. They've been to *many* dim sum places and are not easily impressed. They declared this place to have the best chicken feet that they've ever had: meat easily sucked off the bone, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and perfectly seasoned. High praise coming from dim sum veterans. Most importantly, my parents' first dim sum experience couldn't have been better. I have been going to this place to satisfy my dim sum cravings ever since it used to be "Fong's Dim…read moreSum" back in the 1980's. Yes, that's how long this place has survived & for good reason. They were the first to serve fresh & tasty dim sum to-go for a reasonable price at good value due to their big portion sizes. However, my son & I, went there recently & ordered the usual Siu Mai, Baked BBQ Bun & Steamed BBQ bun. We usually call in our orders in advance to avoid the long wait outside but this time things seem off. Firstly, the lady cannot understand our order & we were put on hold while there seem to be a banter between her & a gentlemen inside for sometime. Secondly, when we finally got there & picked up the order, one of the items given was wrong. Instead of Char Siu Bao, we had Har Gow. So, we waited for another 15 minutes more to get the correct item. When we got home & opened the bags, the Siu Mai had gotten smaller & the worst part is that one of the Baked BBQ Bun had a cockroach pressed on the outside layer of the bun (see picture). I tried to contact the owner first to let them know so it can be corrected before posting it here but no one called. I know that this can affect their "safety food rating" & thus their sales. But if there was indeed a change in management or ownership, they need to fix the sizing portion & bug problem so they could live up to the history & expectations of their loyal clientele.
