Yossi is trusted by my family and myself. He fixed my car promptly and beautifully. The attention to details was notable, as he had my car washed on the outside and inside. Not only that, Yossi is genuinely a helpful person. He helped us navigate situations with the other driver at fault and insurance company, which we were new to. I could not have asked for a better service. read more

There are not enough words in the English language to properly describe how amazing Yossi is. He's likely the only honest mechanic in Southern California. My friends cars was in a hit and run and her bumper and rear flank was destroyed, her limited coverage meant she would have to pay out of pocket and every other mechanic shop quoted us $5k over the insurance coverage. Yossi was able to do the repair within the coverage amount provided and got the job done within a week! I was involved in an incident where a car was hit while parked. Yossi sat with me on the phone with the insurance to make sure I asked all the right questions and told me exactly what to say to get the claim handled. He's also an expert at old school car repairs and knows how to find rare parts for good prices. Aside from that, he is just an absolutely amazing person and I recommend his shop to everyone!! read more

I came to Yossi for my Lexus. He was amazing. He went out of his way to look for after-market parts in order to save me money. Very honest guy and friendly. he really looks out for his customers. read more

My car needed some work done to it and I went to Yossi after I got a quote from somewhere else that was completely out of my price range & honestly laughable. Yossi communicated with honesty and his experience left me assured my car would feel good as new. He was very understanding and got my car fixed in incredible time. My only regret is not coming to Yossi Express Auto Repair sooner for other car issues! read more

I came here on a whim for an estimate because it was one of the few places open on Saturday. First, Yossi and his crew are incredibly friendly. You are honest with him, he is honest with you. Second, he was incredibly kind to my shy dog and my mom. C'mon, you take care of those two you're gold in my book. Third, is his honesty again. He gives his personal opinion and will only accept a job if you know everything that he will do. He only does quality work and goes the extra mile for his customers. He knows you might be in a tough spot, but instead of taking advantage of you like other repair shops, he works with you. I've been in the valley for three years and I can finally tell my friends if they're looking for a reliable auto body repair shop, "Yo, I've got just the one" read more

Yossi Express Auto Repair 818-718-9390 Northridge. I've been looking for an auto repair shop for a long time. like many of us I have trust issues with them. Thank Goodness my friend turned me onto Yossi. I've been going to dealers and paying outrageous prices. Last week I took my car to Yossi and he was one the best mechanics I've ever dealt with. I told him Chevy said I need to fix come in my injectors. he said I only needed the pump. I noticed today on the check the list a few things I forgot to tell him. Tomorrow I am taking my car back this time with the list to to see if I need anything on it.His labor charge it's more than half of what Chevy charges which is a blessing. His knowledge and personality it's another reason to go there. read more

If you're looking for a honest old school mechanic then Yossi Express is where you want to go. Yossi and his assistant Juan are very knowledgeable in both new and older cars. I have a 70 Chevelle and Yossi made it run better than new. Yossi is fair and honest and professional! I highly recommend this place for all your service needs. read more

Yossi Express Auto Repair constitutes a refreshing change from the traditional auto repair; in that your dealing with a honest and knowledgeable mechanic. The owner is very approachable, friendly and honest man and has been serving the Northridge community for over 30 years. The owner & mechanic was upfront with me from the very start of my initial conversation, he was able to diagnosis my car's repair issue and conduct a quick repair. He routinely goes above and beyond what you would expect from a mechanic and even suggested options to solve and make the repair at the lowest fairest price. If you need a local honest community mechanic call Yossi. read more

I've used several different shops for body work in my 14 years of driving and this shop hands down did the best work I've seen yet! The owner was amazing and his guys were great too. Look no further at any other shops and roll to Yossi! -Toddy read more

Yossi is very honest and helpful! Getting my car fixed was so fast. I thought it was going to be in the shop for a day or two, but he called me 4 hours later and it was ready to be picked up. Very reliable and trustworthy! read more

Please be weary of this mechanic I was charged to have my struts, front brakes, and cabin filter replaced, an oil change as well as they were going to look at my AC. When I left I noticed that my front drivers side tire felt wobbly. I thought that since things got changed that it was fine because Yossi made such a big deal about how off my struts were. A couple of days later, my check engine light came on. I took it to Pep boys to get the code red and it was and emissions issue P0420 (my car passed smog a month ago). I later took my car to Firestone to get an alignment because the drivers side tire was bowing out. I was told that I could not get an alignment because my driver side bushing was torn and I needed my control arm replaced. I asked the mechanic at Firestone if when I got my front brakes and struts replaced a month ago if they should've seen this, they said yes. I also asked the mechanic at Firestone if something could've been damaged when they tried to clean my AC like an o2 sensor and they said it was possible. Why didn't Yossi's mechanic tell me that I needed the service done on my car and let me drive off? Yossi's mechanic did a rush job on my car and could have cared less if the job was completed safely. I'm disappointed especially since his shop was suggested by my sister who knows him, has had her car serviced by him and was with me when I took my car in. Maybe things would've been different if Yossi himself had worked on my car but I'm not going back to find out. read more

Went in for an estimate not to long ago. Not the cheapest but was willing to work on the car. All I can say is this guy is good to have in your address book but definitely shop around. read more

I just had rear brakes repaired on my 2006 PT Cruiser. First time customer. I had found Yossi on Yelp and called him for a job quote. He quoted me $160, while other mechanics quoted $200 for the same job! Yossi stated that the job would take one hour to repair. The experience? Job was done in 55 mins and the brakes shoes used were of high quality (not cheap parts other mechanics use). There was a small situation with my car. The brake fluid had degraded and needed to be flushed out and replaced with new fluid. Yossi could have charged me another $68 for this and it would be justified. However, I had told him earlier I was on very limited income and he was kind enough to only charge me $20 for the fluid! Bottom line is that when you need to trust a mechanic to really take care of your car and you want expert and quality work done for a FAIR PRICE, look no further. Yossi is an "old school" mechanic. Honest, fair, trustworthy, very experienced (in business since 1981). His business is titled 'Yossi Express Auto Repair' because they finish the repair work in a timely manner, to get you out and back into the rush hour! I'm coming back here soon to take care of oil leaks and get a tune-up. I'm grateful that I found Yossi in Yelp and even though I live in Woodland Hills and have to travel several miles to Yossi's location in Northridge, it's worth it! I was referred to Yossi Express Auto Repair by a friend who knows the car industry well and I'm so thankful for the referral. If you're looking for great work done with honesty and integrity, you've found it. Here's my experience: The grille on my new Mazda CX-5 was broken because of a branch that flew across the freeway and impaled itself into my car. Yossi took a look at the damage and gave me an extremely honest and reasonable estimate. He told me exactly what the price was of the part I needed to have replaced and what the estimate would be for labor. Yossi made me feel like I was a high priority for him when he called immediately to see if he could get the part. It only took one day for the part to arrive and he immediately called to let me know. He was even able to fit me into his schedule THAT DAY to make the repairs. There were no tricks or shady interactions and the cost of the labor was more than fair. Again, I know how hard it sometimes is to find a good, honest Auto shop - especially if you're a female on your own, like I am. You can be assured that you'll be treated fairly here. I can't recommend Yossi Express Auto Repair enough. I'm very thankful for all the help. read more

I had an amazing experience here. Not only did yossi show me the issues I was having, he actually diagnosed a problem that my original shop hadn't! I really appreciate how honest he was. Yossi will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The prices, quality, and service are unmatched anywhere in Northridge. I wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else. read more

Beware, very bad customer service. I would give them zero stars if I could. They made me take my business somewhere else. read more

Yossi and his workers were amazing! I thought I had a problem with my ignition coil, and they fixed it very quickly and for a great price. They never tried to sell me extra work that I didn't need, and were very honest with everything. Very trustworthy, excellent price, and great work. Especially in LA, this quality and price is hard to beat. Highly recommended! read more

I highly recommend Yossi to everyone I know and meet. He is honest and upfront about everything he works on. He had my car for a few days and did everything he could to fix it. He spent days and hours trying multiple issues. He only charged for what he actually was able to fix instead of charging all the man hours. He is trustworthy, kind, and keeps it real! As frustrating as it may have been the problem with my car was unfixable, but Yossi was very supportive and offered to speak to the next mechanic who worked on it so he wouldn't do double work. I'm just so grateful to have found a mechanic in the valley who I can trust. I will be going back to Yossi in the future should any more issues arise and I recommend you do the same!! Thank you Yossi! read more

I came to Yossi originally because I bought a used car off Craigslist and the A/C wasn't working, like so many others have said he was super honest about everything and even ran extra tests on it because of where I bought it. You can tell he really cares and will tell you if you need it done ASAP or if it can wait too. The car I bought is old so it has needed a few more things replaced here and there and I continue to bring it to Yossi because he is so thorough, honest, and kind. He even drove me home since I live close and had to leave my car overnight tonight. He's knowledgeable, his prices are good, and he's just the best!! read more

Who said its hard to find a good mechanic? Yossi knows his work, he is a true professional and you will know this from the moment you step into his shop, he runs a quality shop. Those who have been burnt by other mechanics know that quality is important. Yossi's repairs are done quicker than most places I've been to, hands down, with the key difference is that you're likely not gonna need to come back once he sends you off. A true professional, and a pleasure to work with, I now come here for the smallest thing like oil change- 5 Stars all the way! read more

We are thrilled with Yossi and his team! Our daughter's car was t-boned and he fixed it flawlessly and quick. Car looks brand new. Highly recommend for reliable, honest and quality job done! read more

5 Stars all day! This is my 2nd time needing Yossi and he and his staff haven't let me down. Very professional and knowledgeable, Super Clean and Organized Shop, and excellent comfortable waiting area. Prices are the best and fairest I have ever experienced. I have a BMW and he has saved me a lot of money vs. Dealer and other BMW shops. Tow truck operator recommended him to me when I had a water pipe break on the 101 a month ago, and now he's doing more repairs for me and is now my preferred mechanic. I had my car towed from Pasadena to his shop from one of his tow vendors, and even with that additional cost it saved me lots vs. Taking it to a shop here. read more

Yossi's service is thoughtful, communicative and on time. He even replaced a sentimental bumper sticker when fixing my car, and it shows that he goes the extra mile to not only provide excellent repair service but also great customer care. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here :) read more

Gem of The Valley. I called Yossi with my concerns that the under carriage of my 08 beetle was gonna fall out on the 405. He told me to bring it in for a checkup. My son-in-law said Yossi's handy-work had gotten him through college with a bucket. I spent the entire day there. I napped. Had lunch. Watched TV played on my phone. All the while they worked on my car. I'm so grateful he didn't gouge me and give me a price I could not afford. He worked with me and I paid him exactly what he asked for. I'm so happy and now I feel safe driving my love bug. Thanks Yossi read more

Yossi and his team are just quite simply fantastic. Yossi is very honest and will do his best to try to repair your car with simple, cheap fixes rather than replace a whole part. For example, my radiator was leaking and most mechanics would just start with replacing the radiator. In Yossi's case he fixed one hose first, then another, then another until the problem was resolved. All told it was maybe $50 in work and parts and a heck of a lot cheaper than just replacing a radiator. I had been going to Yossi for years but only recently have stopped because I moved away. However, I would bring my car to Yossi and he was the only mechanic I trusted. Their work is good and if anything ever goes awry, all you need to do is tell him and he will fix it. Could not recommend them more. read more

I absolutely love Yossi Express Auto Repair! Yoni is the most attentive and thorough technician I've ever met! He always takes care of all my automotive needs. Whether I get a flat tire or even recently when I got into a car accident he opened on a Sunday for me to give him my car which had more problems then I knew and he helped me call insurance and handle everything! Yoni is amazing and his dad Yossi is super nice and they both help me out with everything. It's hard being a single woman dealing with car issues when people rip you off all the time. I fully trust Yoni and Yossi and only come to them with my car needs. Yoni goes above and beyond any standards I have for mechanics. I highly recommend them!! read more

We've all had nightmare experiences at auto body shops- at least i have. I was recommended to go to Yossi Express by a friend of mine. I was was ambivalent to say the least. Once I met him he eased my concerns dramatically with his professionalism, thoughrough knowledge and transparent honesty. Not only did his shop do an amazing job on our car, he came in on budget and kept to the time he told us it would take to fix. He was in touch with us during the process sending us updates and pictures. I was so impressed and grateful to have met such an incredible body shop and highly urge all to work with him in need of body work. It was an absolutely pleasure. read more

I have been coming to Yossi for many years and I don't know why I have waited so long to give him.a yelp review. He has don't everything for all my cars from oil changes, breaks, refaced my break drums and even body repair from when someone rear ended me. I was just there yesterday, I called unexpected and he was, like he always is, available to see me anytime. I just needed to change my air filter. He changed my air filter in a matter of minutes. If it weren't for the pleasant conversation he always has, I would have been in and out in 7 min tops. He is very fair with his prices and I never have to wait long. He takes really good care of his customers! I have referred many people to him and they all tell me the same thing.... "thanks for hooking me up with Yossi, he is awesome!" read more

Yossi is the best in the game. I came here after I got rear ended in my 2016 VW GTI. Yossi did not hesitate to get working on the car immediately. He took care of everything with the insurance, constantly updated me ok the work being done, and treated the car like it was his own. He worked in a quick and efficient matter, and honestly the car looks better than it did before I took it to the shop. The repair was pretty extensive, as he had to take out my rear quarter panel and weld on another one, and everything looks incredible. I could not recommend this shop any more and I would highly advise everybody to bring their car here if you have any damages. Overall 10/10 shop and I would not hesitate to use him again in the future need be read more

I can't say enough good things about Yossi. He takes your car as personally as you do. If he changes your oil and gives your car back to you, you can be sure it was looked at thoroughly and he's convinced you're good to go. If your car has a problem he'll analyze it and tell you exactly what you need. If what you need is going to be expensive, he'll cry with you. He's remarkably straight forward and honest, his prices fairly reflect the quality of his work, and he stands behind his work. read more
