Had a quick issue with My BMW and Vanik I was able to fix it for me within a half hour and at a price that was more than affordable compared to anything in the area! For anyone having any issues with their BMW, I would recommend coming here 11 out of 10 times! Thank you Vanik!! read more

Precision Motors - Car - Auto Repair Near Me - Tarzana, California

The driver window on my old BWM dropped into the door panel. With temperatures so hot, I needed someone close by. The outcome exceeded expectations as the entire door now operates and feels better than before (as well as the window). Cost was reasonable especially taking into account such a favorable outcome. Vanick seems to gravitate toward top-quality repair, so he is highly recommended. read more

Precision motors is my go to service shop for my VW Tiguan 2016. He always knows how to fit anything with my car and in the cheapest way. When the dealership told me I'd need new spark plugs and fuel injectors for $2000 I went to Precision motors for a 2nd opinion and he instantly knew I didn't need any of that but instead just some fuel injector cleaner. I brought two cans from him and he put the first one in my car for me! I only paid $21 for each can which is less than Amazons price! Truly my new fav thing place where I feel like I am not getting taken advantage of and feel comfortable going alone to. I've done my oil change and 80000 mile service with him as well since! read more

Simply the best. Vanik is both a stellar mechanic (he's taken perfect care of all my cars) and a great guy. Can't recommend him highly enough! read more

Vanik is great mechanic and awesome person! I've taken my E92 M3 to him twice so far and both times was nothing but a pleasure! Beyond thankful I've found someone so trustworthy nearby and plan to only let him touch my car in future instances. read more

A simple oil change for my son's Mini Cooper became increasingly complicated when two Jiffy Lubes turned us away. The turbo engine sitting on top of the oil filter made it difficult to access. Thankfully, we found Vanik at Precision Motors through a quick Google search. I would like to add to the glowing Yelp reviews with our own experience. In addition to the oil change, Vanik was kind enough to teach my 18-year-old son how to check his oil levels and coolant levels. He also throughly inspected the car and did a safety check. Jiffy Lube quoted us an outrageous price for brake pad replacements but it turned out, we didn't need new brake pads at all! If you're looking for a transparent, ethical and meticulous mechanic who won't upsell you, Precision Motors is a rare gem! Highly recommend! read more

Vanik is the absolute best! He is kind and flexible with appointment times but most of all he is honest - a rarity in this business. My E92 M3 has a lot of sentimental value to me and there is no one I trust more than him - including the dealer! So thankful I found him and his shop. read more

Vanik is an increasingly rare professional. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, thorough and accurate, he is also very honest and trustworthy. He's not going to upsell you to just make a buck. I take my Audi S5 to him for all its maintenance needs and upgrades. Vanik's work is every bit of the quality you'd expect from a dealership, exceeding expectations in every way, and he doesn't price gouge you. Usually charging a large amount less than an Audi service center. I feel that Precision Motors deserves your consideration and business for all your German (or other) automotive needs. You'll be happy that you didn't panic, you called Vanik. read more

Precision Motors in Reseda is the best place to get your car serviced. I Been coming to this shop for over 8 years to get my 2015 BMW and my wife's 2012 mini cooper serviced. Love the work. read more

Vanek is a wonderful mechanic. ive been bringing my car here for a long time and he is always great at explaining in detail what needs to be done and the cost. Excellent work! read more

Vanik is a unicorn! It always feels like you are bringing your car to a trusted (and smart) family member. This is maybe my 10th time going and he always gives an honest opinion- which often doesn't benefit him. One of the last times I brought my car in, the AC condenser was broken. He said he can fix it, but it would probably be in my best interest to go to Mini and insist they fix it even though it's not under warrantee anymore - since it's not a part that should be breaking on a 5 year old car. He was right! He can be in the middle of fixing another car, but will always take the time to speak with customers who walk in. Just a really nice guy and I can't recommend him enough! read more

Vanik is my hero! Friendly, honest, and fast! One of my favorite mechanics. He was Able to fix a simple issue that the BMW dealer spent 3 years to never fix. Highly recommend. read more

Easy to work with and super honest! I didn't feel like my situation was exploited. I lost full engine power of my Mini Countryman. I told him that I was on a tight schedule and that I did not live in the area. He diagnosed my car (without a fee), then gave me options. Overall, I was so pleased with his service! If anything goes wrong with my car again, I would consider driving down to LA just for honest service. read more

I own a 2008 BMW Z4 and after moving to Tarzana, Vanik at Precision Motors has been my go to guy. He is honest about pricing and always has the customers best interest. He is quick and efficient when it comes to simple fixes. Additionally, he communicates throughout the process to ensure you know exactly what services he feels are best. I definitely would recommend Precision Motors to those of you looking for a trustworthy mechanic for your BWM. read more

Vanik is the absolute best mechanic you will find. He is not only a fantastic mechanic, but incredibly honest and trustworthy. He is a rare find, so much so that even though I moved to Ventura County, I still bring my cars to him. Definitely worth the drive. read more

Vanik is my #1 BMW indie mechanic in LA. I have 3 BMWs (and Audis before) and I have been to a bunch of euro shops in LA. Vanik has been fixing my BMWs (X5, 335, 550) for the last few years and he can do everything from complex by-the-book OE repairs to custom performance work. But unlike many shops, he does what the customer wants, but manages to do it right as well. He is creative with his repairs, leading to saving money, smarter repairs, pre-emptive service - basically fixing more stuff better for less $. He doesn't charge to scan the car and take a quick look. He will honestly tell you what YOUR CAR REALLY NEEDS (because personal driving and conditions differ) so you don't do unnecessary milestone work. He always has a classic BMW or M car in his shop, and he owns a couple himself he's converted into track cars. Vanik takes the time to do every job right, but also puts the customers first and his prices are like half the dealers and hard to beat, plus his honesty is rare! He can fix any car, but he's a true master technician with BMW/Mini and Audi/VW/Porsche. His recent VW mid-engine project car shows off his genius and mechanical mastery. read more

Precision Motors - Always leave here happy! Vanik is the man! Thank you for your help - Auto Repair Near Me - Tarzana, California

Vanik, is an honorable mechanic, he will only quote what you need, he takes care of my car as if it was his.. Awesome

Vanik is thorough, trustworthy, honest, understanding, and reasonably priced. All these qualities are necessary when needing service for your German-made automobile. He takes pride in the work he does, as well as gives you options to offset pricing limitations when you're budget-conscious. He doesn't present your vehicle issues in a manner that puts you in "shock and awe". He itemizes and prioritizes what is necessary to repair immediately. He then gives you a timeline for the additional repairs. For seniors on fixed budgets, this method is a game changer. When it's time to pay your bill, you don't have to worry about "sticker shock", Vanik will have already prepared you for what your pricing will be, and it's usually to the penny. He takes this type of care with all his customers while maintaining a mild-mannered, caring, and compassionate approach. read more

Precision Motors is the best service for your BMW needs. I came as a referral from another customer and I'm extremely satisfied. Vanik is very knowledgeable and explains everything in details for you to understand. The best technician in town and affordable! read more

First of all, Vanik is a great guy who cares about his customers and also has a true passion for performance vehicles. I've taken multiple BMWs to him throughout the years, and every time they come back better. He isn't your typical mechanic, just trying to make a buck. He really wants you to be happy with your car and is very price competitive. I don't see myself going to another mechanic. Thank you read more

Well, I'm not sure where to even start. I guess the beginning is always best! Fist time I came to Precision Motors I was a bit worried. As most I imagine are, going to someone new. Already having a bad taste in my mouth from being overly charged for terrible work at the dealership, who knew right? Haha. Any how Vanik, the owner, instantly took those worries and turned them into confidence. Instantly found the issue, gave a reasonable price, and a quick turn around. Made me never think twice about giving him a call. Vanik is a very capable and knowledgeable mechanic. He doesn't think twice about giving you his honest opinion and laying it all out there for you. At a competitive price mind you, which, is hard to beat in LA. He is also willing to recommend more specialized places if it's needed. Which, also in an experience of mine turned out great. There's nothing more comforting then having that feeling of taking your car into a shop and knowing that it's going to be taken care of right, that first time around. As well as knowing you don't need a 2nd mortgage to fix your Beamer. I seriously cant say enough good things about Precision Motors and Vanik. Besides the fact Vanik is the only one I trust more with my car then me! Thanks for all you've done! read more

Agree that Vanik is the BEST BMW mechanic you can find in Los Angeles...and he's not even a mile away from us. We have an old 2003 BMW X5 and it's in such great shape due to Vanik's diligence. Not sure how we got so lucky in finding him, but sure glad we did. read more

If you love your car and like to keep it running smoothly then you gotta maintain it. What happens after your service warranty runs out. But the dealership is just way too expensive especially if you drive a Precision German automobile. Dealership offers master mechanics and so is Vanik. Trained in Porsche, BMW, Mini, VW, Audi. I've known Vanik for over 10 years now and never once I felt like I've been ripped off. He likes helping people. Superdoper honest. Very fair. He's a car enthusiast. He enjoys this stuff. He eats, drinks, and breathes German Technik! He uses OEM parts and sometimes better. You can go somewhere else but just give him a try for once. Go see Vanik and I promise you'll be a believer. I live in Los Angeles and I don't mind driving to Tarzana to see Vanik for my BMW needs. Tarzana btw is only 25-30 minutes away from downtown LA on a good Saturday morning run. Here's a fact: BMW oil change $185 - Center BMW (1.5 to 2 hours) $95 - Vanik (30-45minutes) Same oil(or better), Same Filter No car wash from Vanik but for a savings of $90. For sure you can take your car to a car wash for a nice wash and wax. Think about the time and money you'll save. read more

Great mechanic, i feel like god put me in his way for a reason. My car got left stranded literally in front of his shop. Sometimes you come across a mechanic that has your best interests in mind. He will save you money and due a professional job.

I discovered Precision Motors about 5 yrs ago, and it's the only shop I will bring my car to. Vanik, the owner, is an honest, personable and knowledgeable BMW mechanic, and I trust him to tell me straight what my car needs, without the usual inflation of "problems" that I have gotten from the dealer, and at other auto shops. The shop is located in Tarzana, and is super close for me to get to- which is a plus. I would highly recommend Vanik for all your BMW repairs! read more

I am so so SOOO happy I was our Mini was referred to Precision Motors. Our particular car seems to be very temperamental and in need of annual very expensive repairs. It has been so challenging to keep up with - we finally wanted to just sell it. We brought our car in to get it back into working order. The problems were diagnosed and actual solutions presented. I feel so very lucky to have connected with Precision Motors. Also knowing that we might be selling the car he still recommended replacing a critical part which was not to drive the cost higher but an integrity point which I really appreciated. Now the family wants to keep the car as we now have a knowledgeable, competent, swift, ethical and super cost efficient resource to help us keep our Mini running in peak condition. THANK YOU PRECISION MOTORS!!!! read more

I recently got my oil and air filter changed by Vanik, and I have to say this guy is very thorough. The shop is very clean and he pays very close attention to what he is doing. I know I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I was panicking until I called Vanik! Vanik is a rare asset for the BMW community. A lot of mechanics deny BMWs from the complexity of design. This leaves a burden for owners looking for a good mechanic. Vanik is a BMW and european specialist. I took my BMW with a oil leak and various small issues. Vanik went and repaired my car the same day and with ease. Thank you, Vanik! read more

I found this place yesterday in a panic, and I'm so glad I did! Yesterday the indicator came on in my BMW indicating that I needed to replace my brake pads. It couldn't have come at a worse time considering I'm relocating out of state and will be driving my car a long distance today. I came too late in the day yesterday for Vanik to get it done because he had to order the pads, but he made a commitment to make my car a priority the first thing this morning once the parts arrived. While doing it, he noticed that one of my tires was bald and worked with the tire place a few doors down to get me a good deal on a tire. Unlike most independent BMW shops, Vanik never pressured me to get unnecessary maintenance done. He also got the job done in less time than originally committed, and he made me feel like his only customer. I recommend this place and would give it 10 stars if I could. read more

I did not panic because of Vanick. He's always calm, cool, collected and super easy to work with.

Took my bmw 330 in to get a couple of hoses and coils done. Literally since I met vanik he gave me such a good vibe that I don't usually get from mechanics. Decided to do the job with him after searching for a couple of mechanics and I was not disappointed literally honest and straight to the point told me what was wrong addressed my issues. Took 1 day of work and literally got the car back even better than ever. Trust me when I say you won't even disappointed! Found my bmw mechanic will definitely be sticking around! read more

I have been using Vanik to service my vehicles for over 6 years. He is thorough, and cares about my well being. He is not the type of person to do a half as job. Regardless of the size of the job, whether it's an oil change or rear differential replacement, he provides the same level of care and service. He is the only technician that has worked on my E46M3 and my E39M5. I recommend Vanik DE Mekanik to everyone. read more
