I brought my 2020 Range Rover Evoque in for service here. I was quoted 2800 dollars by the Land Rover dealership for an oil change along with front and rear brake pads and rotors. The price felt excessive, so I contacted European Auto Service and was quoted 1300 dollars using OEM parts, less than half of the dealership estimate. I scheduled an appointment without realizing the shop was located in Reseda, about a 45 minute drive from my home near Hollywood. After arriving, the drive was immediately worth it. I can't say enough good things about this shop. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding! The level of professionalism, craftsmanship, and knowledge here is rare these days. They installed an M10 engine from a 1980 320i in my 1974 BMW 2002. Then they installed a complete custom built standalone engine management system and custom wiring harness into the car, allowing them to use modern electric fuel injection. They also performed a manual transmission conversion using a rare 5 speed transmission from a late E21. A lot of fabrication works were added to make this work in harmony...They tested and tuned the setup to achieve better than factory levels of drivability, and much higher performance! If could give six stars I would. Thank goodness I found John and European Auto Service. I had taken my 2014 pristine Aston Martin DB9 to another shop for an oil change. They couldn't clear the service light, and less than a month later another service light appeared regarding the emissions system. Rather than take it to a shop that couldn't handle my rare car I did a ChatGPT search and the AI recommended European and I gave them a call. Expert service, they diagnosed and fixed all the problems including a ticking time bomb of a leak at the oil filter. Sometimes when a business has a lot of five-star reviews it's apparent that many of the reviews aren't authentic. If you read European Auto Service's five-star reviews, you can tell that what customers have written is based on experience. I am going to add a five-star review and it is based on my experience. I have a 2006 BMW 330 CI (it's old, but very loved and has low mileage). I love the car (I said that already, but it's true), but I was trying to decide if putting money into it (rather than buying a new vehicle) continued to make sense. I did a financial breakdown and came to the conclusion -- if I could find a place that would fix the things that needed fixing (and that involves knowledge and care, because the car is almost 20 years old)--I would. But this was the tricky part. Because BMW dealerships don't know a lot about (or show much care) when it comes to older models. And paying for what they do know comes at a ridiculous cost (literally). So I searched the internet for a business that would be able to fix both mechanical and body imperfections. And I discovered European Auto Service and read all of the five-star reviews. And then I had a phone conversation with John, the owner. And that was all it took to get me to drive almost an hour both ways to have my car assessed. I could write a book (I am well on my way with this review) about all of the ways that I have been blown away by the customer service, care, knowledge and thoughtfulness that I was shown by John and his team. They are skilled, kind, professional, they know what they are doing --- but their secret sauce (and it's no secret) is that they love what they do. John and Ivan took the time to explain what my 330 CI needed and also what it didn't really need. Not only did I never felt pressured or overcharged--the opposite was true. I felt I was treated honestly and with respect. And in 2025, when people often don't speak kindly to each other and great customer service is a thing of the past, that goes a very long way. They fixed what needed to be fixed and the car runs and looks better than it has in probably a decade. And I felt the price I paid for that was fair. I know (because John told me) that there will be future issues with my old (very, loved) car. But now I feel good about keeping it, because I feel very good about the place I have to take it. I was looking for a place to inspect my newly acquired Jaguar XK (I bought it from out-of-state) and to also have some regular maintenance that I thought was overdue based on the previous owner's records (brake fluid flush and 4-wheel alignment). I decided to give European Auto Service a try due to the stellar reviews I had read on Google and Yelp. Let me tell you: I was impressed by the operation and the service provided. John and his team are very professional and I can see why they are in demand. I very much appreciated how thorough and courteous John was when going through the inspection with me. During inspection, it was determined a power steering fluid flush was also needed (the fluid in the reservoir was orange-brown instead of the ruby red color it should be). John also gave me the option of moving forward with or cancelling the alignment that I had originally requested. The alignment was just outside of Jaguar's specifications and he wanted me to be aware so I didn't pay for something that wasn't necessarily needed. I still asked John and his team to continue with the alignment, but it was that kind of gesture that further cemented the good impression I already had of this establishment. I could not be happier with my experience here. I brought my parents Fiat here because it was lighting up with fix it warning signs on the dash like it was the Fourth of July. The messsages read: -Parking lights out -Break ligh out -License plate light out -Service engine warning -Drive mode unavailable warning -Service required It was a sheer spectacle to see the series of warning lights that would pop up We made an appointment a few days ahead and when I arrived we were seen right away by the owner John. He did a quick physical check of the car by walking around the car and had one of their technicians to do a quick engine diagnosis to get the interior of the engine checked. Within 15-20 minutes John knew what the issues were. But because there were a few people also waiting to be serviced before me I was updated as soon as the moment opened up after them. John was so knowledgable, quick, concise, and effiicient in delivering his message. The wiring in the rear lights that are commonly known to be faulty in this model was causing all the "lights" warning that are somehow all connected to each other. As far as the engine, it was a sort of vacuum issue with the engine that needed to be looked at. All in all, the car was done within 2 days and just in time to be picked up the day before the national 4th of July holiday. Their service is GREAT too! John was the best at his job that also made the experience more personable. This is now my favorite auto body repair because they are quick, efficient, and matters are resolved within days of bringing it in. I'll be back! read more

My husband and I are big fans and EAS is now our go to mechanic. I recently purchased my lease return (thanks to John's assessment) and my husband has a vehicle that is hitting the 10 year mark so between the two of us, we've been to EAS a few times now. He actually found EAS because they work on his 10 year old brand of vehicle which is not the most common car make. And my husband wanted to try out someone else after taking his car in to the dealer for the 10 year tune up and then having a hose blow a week later... Said hose was going to cost over $2500 at the dealership and John replaced it for a fraction. When my car came due for the lease return, he told me to bring it to John for an assessment before committing to purchase so i did just that. Last week I had my brakes done and an oil change - I had previously had this service performed at the dealership and it was 2x more costly at the dealership than at EAS. I will soon enough also be getting a dent repaired on my car. someone dinged my car while parked and did not leave a note.
