They went above and beyond explaining how everything works to us, and made us feel safer by knowing what our trailer is capable of handling. these garbage people are scammers!! aka human pieces of shit!!! greg and his employees cant be trusted they try to steal money from you by falsely charging your credit card and never ordering the product/s!!! thank god i called my cradit card company and i disputed the charge, i got my money back in time, if i would of waited like they wanted me to wait over two months it would of been hard to get the money back. problem i had to wait another two months for the credit card investigation to finalize before my money was returned. why was my money returned?? because it was a big scam!!! i wouldn't of gotten my money back if it wasn't a scam!!! from the order to the money back it took a little over four months of them holding my hard earned money!!! fucking bastards doing that to customers!! part of their scam is to delay the order to over two months so the credit card charge back will be difficult to get your money back. its all a big scam!!! they will charge your credit card for the order after you wait two months then they will tell you that the order was delivered to someone else, and no other explanation of when or if ever i would get my product. You call them multiple times and they dont call you back right away and call you back days later with a bullshit excuse. Then your left with trying to call and email the main company direct but nobody ever calls you back or responds to an email ever even now over several months ago, nobody cares!! fucking leer the main company are fucking scammers too for not caring or ever trying to contact a paying customer!!! im sorry that i should of pressed charges on those fucking bastards!!! immediately run away from these scammers and thieves or else you will loose your hard earned money!!! Careful here...They quoted me $365 for a trailer hitch installed on my Subaru. They said i would need to leave the car in the morning and then come back. I eventually called Uhaul and had it done in 20 minutes for $179. Believe it or not, they both used the same part number on the estimate/bill - 36284. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I had them replace the leaf springs on my trailer 2 years ago, this spring one of the springs broke. First they told me it was not under warranty, when I called the manufacturer, they agreed it was covered and sent all new parts to York Trailer. they had my trailer for nearly 3 weeks, refused to answer my calls or call me back. Finally, yesterday they told me to come and get my trailer, they would not fix it, and they said they were shipping the parts back to the manufacturer. They are disreputable, dishonest and generally lousy human beings. read more

I recently took my Leer cap for a replacement handle and spring on the rear glass window. My experience was tremendously aggravating. The owner told me I could bring in the vehicle pretty much any day -- just be there early so that they would have enough time to do the work. I brought the truck in very early on a Friday. I called at approximately 2pm to see if it was done only to get a very gruff response that he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to finish it that day as they hadn't even looked at it yet and he really wasn't sure. I reminded him of his earlier indication to bring it in early etc .. so .. they hastily and begrudgingly did manage to get the handle functional but did nothing about the loose screws that hold the right spring to the cap. Said "they would have to order more parts." I picked my car up that day and followed up on Tuesday to see if the parts had come in. He said no. He did not order the parts. I was supposed to follow up with THEM and was supposed to pay in advance -- no big deal but silly aggravating confusion .. these are NOT expensive parts. The owner says the guy that orders the parts is not in that day (Tues) and to call back on Weds and they will order the parts. I called back on Weds to order the parts and the owner says the parts manager is too busy to order the parts and would not likely have time to ORDER the parts for a "couple more days.?!?!?!" The owner "Walt" said this? Can you imagine? I lost my mind at that point. I had been doing my best to keep calm etc but could not handle being entirely dismissed as if driving around with my broken cap was of absolutely no concern to him. I got short with Walt (which I had not done until this point) He told me to take my business else where! REALLY! So I did. Johnson Truck Accessories in Dover NJ Very friendly. Very professional. Took me in at 8AM had my cap fully functional (spring and handle) in less than an hours. I told them the above story and they said that I was not the first dissatisfied customer they had received! Hmmmm .. This was not my only visit to York Trailers. A year or so I needed to replace the Thule rack on top of the cap. Had a similar misunderstanding of parts being ordered/ not ordered. It was not as unpleasant as the recent experience but at a certain point you have to ask your self .. is it them? or is it me? In this case .. I would recommend you shop elsewhere .. Trouble! They took deposit $1,000.00 to get us trailer for scissor lift with winch. Trailer came without winch and too steep for our scissor lift to go up. They refused to give back deposit. read more

Great place! Lost a tier on are old trailer. Lucky enough they were open for sales not service, but they opened there doors to help us out! They did a great job at getting us back on the road in a very timely manner and fair price. I'd highly recommend York trailer to anyone. read more
