Anyways two years later same Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same trans and it shifts perfect and is still going. Maybe it was an honest mistake, what annoys me more is they performed a trans service without my permission, and when they did they striped 3 of the bolts on the pan, I am sure they used an impact gun. The pan leaks now. I don't live in NJ anymore, but I know the shop as it has been there for years. So I rented a trailer about 100 miles away. They got on the phone with the local service rep who directed me to another location with a one wau rental about 10 miles away the other direction and the guy was great and his staff couldn't have been more helpful. He isn't one of the corporate U-Haul guys otherwise he would've treated me the way all the other U-Haul's treat you. He made a mistake sending it out as a local rental and when I got to my location and went to return it they said I had to clear it through the customer service 800-number. If you call the 800 number and you end up with Valerie the supervisor, that good day you were having is over. She explained about as abruptly as she could that I needed to drive it back the 100 miles and there was no way she could help me. Stop and think about that for a little bit. I asked over and over if there was some way to work this out. Nope. I then called back the local dealer who got on the phone and worked it out in less than 1 minute to take it to this same uhaul who said earlier they wouldnt take it. Three people standing inside watching the clock and the only words they could speak was "put it in a parking space." Ok. As I unhook the trailer and dropped it to the ground the guy comes out and now he is able to speak more than a few words to tell me I was putting it in the wrong parking space. Effectively needing to re-hook it up turn my trailer around and back it in into a blind spot before they closed in three minutes. There are so many other U-Haul's you could try. I really hate leaving negative reviewsBut this one is fully earned.
