I'm visiting again and, like always, Yorgo's is consistently awesome. I just wanted to add that the vegan breakfast sandwiches are awesome! I've been getting the vegan sausage, egg and cheese on toasted sourdough and it is perfect comfort food. I recommend asking them to toast the bagel and add a bit of vegan mayo. I always fly home wishing I had eaten MORE Yorgo's! read more

Had the jalapeño bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese, and it was delicious! The bagel was excellent. My boyfriend's sandwich (sausage, egg, and cheese on their challah roll) was spot on. Our only complaint was the coffee. It was terrible! It tasted burned and was undrinkable. Other positives: The service was great, they have a TON of vegan options, and the desserts looked to die for. Above all else, go for the bagels! read more

Delicious vegan burrittos and so many vegan options! I cheat on my gluten-free diet just for there tasty vegan burittos like the peterman! The lines get long because of the early morning rush but that's just because they are that good! The staff is friendly as well. Everyone needs to try it even if your not vegan! read more

Yorgo's is a great place, and I don't normally say that about bagel places around Hampton Roads. It's a great place to grab a bagel or a light lunch, especially with friends before or after a quick trip the beach. It's pretty much busy from open to 10 or 11 am, but if you don't mind the crowds, then you should be fine. Although, it is a tight squeeze - this place is pretty small! The Inside Out Omelet wrap is great, especially with cheese. On most days I go for an everything bagel with egg, cheese, salt, and pepper, and ketchup if I'm feeling adventurous. Noise will very by the time and day you go. Expect loudness on Sunday mornings! Lines can be longish, but totally worth it! read more

Vegan breakfast HEAVEN, I dream of the bagel sandwiches from here. The vegan eg salad and chicken salad are TOO good. I personally favor their everything bagel and they offer any fresh veggie you'd like as well as vegenaise if ya nasty (in a good way). The atmosphere is v casual and the counter service is friendly/quick. read more

Yorgo's Bageldashery - Vegan egg salad on and everything bagel with LTO & vegenaise. Dream come true. - Bagels Near Me - Norfolk, Virginia

OMG! Yorgo's is actually they best vegan place ever! There is so much to offer from vegan BLT for breakfast, to vegan philly steak for lunch! Definitely try it if you are in the area! read more

Yorgos has a great selection of kosher and vegan friendly bagels and cream cheeses. They have great lunch specials, flavors of the month for their vegan cream cheese and amazing coffee! Expect a line if your going during peak breakfast hours or pretty much anytime on a weekend but believe me it is worth the wait!! read more

They got my attention with the giant Donkey Kong mural. Then the name seemed interesting enough to warrant checking the place out. In short, their marketing worked; I ended up having lunch there because of those two things, and it was great! read more

Really great place! I went here for the first time today and I was impressed with all of the vegan options. As a strict vegetarian, I really appreciate that. Any restaurant that is sensitive to diets is always a good place in my book. I got the vegan breakfast burrito and it was very very good. The only thing that wasn't the best was that I could not tell the difference between my wrap and my boyfriend's, as he got something with meat chili. A little sign or special toothpick would be helpful in telling the difference. And no, I did not want to just take a bit and have to spit it out. I will definitely return! read more

I was drawn to this place because of their selection of vegan and vegetarian options however the Peterman wrap was just okay. It's nothing special and my extreme hunger masked the bland taste. read more

Awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome! I'm from New York, and this place really reminds me of home, so I can see why they call it "New York Style." I love having a whole restaurant dedicated to bagels--a rarity outside of NY. I love the vegan BLT on a bagel. It's made with tempeh bacon and veganaise, and it's YUM! I also like the mural on the wall, the vegan cookies, all the bottled juices, and the fact that, if you come at the right time, you can see all the police officer eating here! Also, have you met the owner? He is COOL. read more

Toasted everything with cream cheese, lox, tomatoes, red onion, and capers. Magic yourself into a table. Stare at the mural. Eat with silent, happy abandon. Lick the cream cheese off your knife. Admire a tattoo. And when you finish, don't forget to pick the poppy seeds out of your teeth :). read more

Perfect spot for casual breakfast or lunch. For vegans, there are plenty of tasty options and the staff treats you just like anyone else. For non-vegans, there's a full menu, so it doesn't feel like your weird friend dragged you into a patchouli patch. Wraps were smaller than we expected, but were more than enough for an average appetite. Also, whatever they lack in size they make up for in quality and flavor. The Peterman and the Vegan Italian were both delicious. read more

Updating my review as the last few times we've been here I've been disappointed. Bagels have seem nearly stale, the everything bagel was very light on "everything" and my son's cinnamon raisin bagel was basically a raisin bagel. And forget getting a dozen to then keep in the freezer or the next day... because they're so tough day of they're hard as a rock after. May have to go back to Einsteins even though I was so excited to have found a good place. read more

I just stopped here for the first time today, so I don't have much to go by yet, but the chai tea latte was good and the pumpkin swirl pastry was delicious. I plan on jumping on these bagels the next time I stop by. I might've rated this place an average 3 stars, but The icing on the cake of this bageldashery though is the service and friendly customers. The wonderful lady behind me paid for my order just because she said, "It's your first time and you have to try out this place!" Also, one of the baristas explained to me the background of the bageldashery and answered my questions even though she was busy doing other stocking items. read more

Totally amazed by the Vegan selection. Staff very friendly and food was great. I tried Vegan BLT & my wife The Peterman sandwich. Awesome!!$ we also shared the Beet Orange Juice not bad. read more

I love this place, damn good bagels and options for absolutely anyone with any eating restrictions or preferences. Best juices and coffees. Very friendly and going here puts me in a good mood. This place rocks!! read more

This is my fav bagel place in the 757, a little pricey, and the coffee is not the best, but the bagels are amazing, and the cream cheeses are so good you can eat them on anything!!!!! read more

Bagels are great and Yorgo's does a fantastic job with this quickie food. They have numerous flavors of the bagels themselves as well as more than a few types of cream cheese. Honey wheat, everything, whole grain, sourdough, chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin are some of the bagels and the cream cheese spectrum ranges from herb to cinnamon and sugar to blueberry. I have been to Yorgo's quite a few times. My favorite cream cheese-bagel combo to date is the pumpkin cream cheese on honey wheat. This is a seasonal cream cheese and tastes exactly like pumpkin cheese cake. I am counting the days until next fall, when I assume it will resurface on the menu. I have also had the cinnamon and sugar on the cinnamon raisin bagel. A stellar pairing, if I do say so myself. There is never too much cinnamon. A friend had the scallion once. He said it was good, but beware, it has a STRONG aroma. Yorgo's also has a ton of bagel sandwiches and other breakfast items. Egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad and even a tofu egg salad and a tofu chicken salad. I have had both of the tofu versions and was quite pleased, especially with the tofu egg salad. Eggs, bacon, ham, turkey and soy sausage and a variety of cheeses are other sandwich choices. There are daily vegan items, such as the vegan burrito and a daily vegan cream cheese The dessert category is another in which Yorgo's excels. They have brownies, cookies (regular and vegan), raspberry bars, my all time favorite, the carrot cake cookie and some other treats. The carrot cake delight has the consistency of cake but it is a cookie and fabulous - novel idea, Yorgo's! I have only had one sweet indulgence of which I was not fond. The Challah bread pudding sounded superb, but it had so much rum in it, I was gagging. While there is ample space to sit in the restaurant, it is extremely packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings, so plan accordingly. They do move pretty fast, so you can order something to-go and skip fighting over a table. Parking can be a bear on the immediate block of Yorgo's, but there is a large parking lot across Colonial and on side streets. Not sure about the parking rules though, so make sure you check for any signs that indicate a ticketing area. The atmosphere is very deli and a lot of folks are in very, very casual clothes, some a little too close to pajamas for my liking, but to each his own. While I will avoid the salads, Yorgo's hits the mark with bagels, sandwiches and sweets. read more

Really wonderful, fresh food! Lots of options for people with dietary restrictions. I went there a little hungover and I wanted EVERYTHING on the menu. It was crowded on a Sunday morning but we did find a place to sit. I am only taking away one star because when I ordered a corned beef sandwich on a challah roll I was expecting more of a traditional NY deli experience, and that it was not. The meat wasn't piled as high as it would be in an NY deli and the challah is sub-par if you know what good challah is (I've been eating it ALL of my life...) I adjusted my expectations accordingly. I will be going back for some of the other things on the menu that I didn't get to try! read more

Best. Bagels. On. The. Planet. *Vegan Stuff Too!

Yorgo's is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! They have great bagels, a large cream cheese selection, and many vegan friendly options. Everything is well crafted and the service is always wonderful. A perfect place for a lazy sunday breakfast or a quick stop before work! read more

This is a great, authentic bagel place. I'm pretty sure they mix their own cream cheeses, and their bagels and baked goods are always fresh. I usually just stick to a bagel with cream cheese, but they have great deli and breakfast sandwiches too. And TONS of vegetarian and vegan options (which are delicious, and I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan!) I wish they would offer more fresh coffee options. They do offer fresh lattes and coffees, but I wish they would expand the barista menu. This would take the "cafe" to a whole new level. Also sometimes when ordering sandwiches, the kitchen staff has been known to get orders wrong. read more

Yummmmmm. I ordered an everything bagel with egg, turkey sausage and herb cream cheese. It was really good! I like that they open at 6 am so I can eat here before work. I will definitely be coming here again. read more

Yorgo's is a fantastic place to grab a quick, delicious, and healthy lunch. The menu is expansive and offers the option to build your own bagel-sandwich. No matter what you order, your bagel is piled high with fillings and guaranteed to be delicious. The bagels alone should always be considered. Yorgo's makes their bagels in-house and even sells an "everything-everything"; if you like everything bagels, imagine all of the outside "everything's" inside the bagel as well as out. Other establishments, such as Elliot's Fair Grounds coffee, purchase their bagels for sale from Yorgo's. read more

Love this place! Quaint atmosphere, great downtown location, easy access and parking...but most importantly - the VEGAN menu options are golden! I go with my mom, friend, cousin.... doesn't matter - from your basic carnivore, to your vegetarian auntie, to your strict vegan gal pal....there is something for everyone. Ohhhh! Mustn't forget to tell you that I absolutely LOVE their vegan desserts -especially the peanut butter cookie and the Aztec Chocolate cookie, and don't get me started about the vegan herb cream cheese and the peaches and cream vegan option that was offered last year - simply delicious. Can you say YUM to the 10th power! BTW Yorgo Team - please bring that peaches and cream option back - very SOON!). Anyhoooooo....if you're in the area, stop in and give ALL the vegan desserts a try. At least that's what my family and I did. Hey! Don't judge me...life is short so you should enjoy every single BITE of it. :-) read more

I visited Yorgo's 3 days ago before class and it was amazing. I couldn't stop eating in traffic. I had a sausage and egg with blueberry jam on a everything bagel. Delicious! I will definitely visit Yorgo's again. read more

I'd give fewer stars if I could. Bagels are good. Coffee is the worst I've ever had.To-go cups have lids that explode off with even the slightest amount of pressure. Customer service is awful. The ladies behind the counter barely listen, as they're too involved in their own conversations between them, and they act is if you're an annoyance. Yorgos? Never. Again. read more

Little gem on Colonial Avenue. Was pleased with the the selection of vegan products they sold and the fresh vegan cream cheese they had. I've come here twice and both times ordered the egg and vegan sausage sandwich on a bagel with cheese. Everything tasted fresh and clean and not processed. My boyfriend is obsessed with the orange juice they sell and wants to contact the company to buy it by the caseload. After eating here, I can't imagine having breakfast anywhere else! read more

Got bagels to go here a few weeks ago while my family was in town and they were amazing! My family and I loved them. We got bagels and breakfast sandwiches and they did not disappoint. Definitely try their everything bagel it's great. I also got the vegan cream cheese (which I have to say, I was very skeptical), but I honestly could not tell the difference between regular cream cheese! They are very quick and friendly with there service. Can't wait to go back! read more

Great food, *decent* service. No one seems to smile. Like, they hate their jobs or the people who make them. Today the frowns were so prominent, I may not even come back. Also, it'd be nice to have vegan options beyond tofu. Follow Your Heart has a really good vegan egg that can be used in their creations. read more

Food is great! Lots of vegan options. A lot of times "normal" people complain about the taste of vegan food and how it does not compare to the original but some of these dishes like the Philly Wrap might throw some skeptics for a loop! Great service, great food, the only negative things I have to say is that this place should be open 24 hours! read more
