I genuinely felt blessed to be alive and be able to eat from this restaurant. The food was delicious, environment was hospitable, and portions generous. 10/10 recommend! Had to come back the next day for breakfast!

Horrible portions mainly all veggies and the food wasn't cooked well, last time that I'll come here.

It seems to be a family-run restaurant, and you can really feel the care they put into everything. The restaurant was exceptionally clean, which was one of the first things I noticed. The food was delicious and offered great value for the price. While it may not be a luxury Korean BBQ experience, everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. For what you pay, it's an excellent meal, and it's definitely a place I'd happily come back to. What really stood out was the service. The owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal. Their genuine hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. If you're craving Korean BBQ but don't want to deal with driving to Koreatown and sitting in traffic, I highly recommend checking this place out. Great food, great service, a spotless restaurant. I'll definitely be back!

I know how I like my food, so I wasn't a fan of being hovered over or having my food taken off the grill before I felt it was done. I also didn't like that the uncooked meats were being placed with the cooked meat. I prefer to keep those separate, so that was a big downside for me. The squid being mixed with the bulgogi wasn't something I enjoyed either. On top of that, we spent around $90 and barely got much meat, which didn't feel worth the price. We were also handed the check before our time limit was even up, which made us feel rushed. The bulgogi itself was good, and the restaurant was clean, but the overall atmosphere made it hard to fully enjoy the meal. For the price, I feel like you can find better options with higher-quality sides as well.

Our server took our order and then seemingly disappeared, showing absolutely no interest in our experience for the remainder of the meal. We ordered a $17 bottle of soju that simply never arrived. Thirty minutes into our meal, I had to flag this down with the server assistant cooking our meat because our actual server apparently couldn't be bothered to check on us. I asked that they either bring the soju and comp it or forget it entirely. Any restaurant with even a modicum of hospitality would have immediately done so. Instead, I got an apology and nothing more. That pretty much sums up the experience: minimal effort, minimal attention, and absolutely no sense of hospitality. The food was decent, but good food does not excuse embarrassingly poor service. Korean BBQ isn't exactly difficult to get right. Good service, apparently, is. There are countless places in Koreatown where you can get better food, better service, and an experience that actually feels worth your money. Save yourself the trouble. Skip this place--you'll be glad you did.

Very solid dish, but that kalguksu reigns supreme. Valet parking in the lot will run you $5-6, and the best time to go is within an hour of opening. The place fills quickly. I tried coming 15 minutes before opening on a Sunday during lunch time and that helped a lot! Would recommend coming during the day if you want to avoid waits. Some of our favorites: -Chicken Kalguksu: I get this every time! The broth is amazing, have never had such a rich, flavorful chicken broth before. You can taste all the herbs, seasonings, and time they took to prepare. The broth is a little on the thicker end, but super filling. -Seafood Kalguksu: the broth is so flavorful and it comes filled to the brim with all types of seafood! The spice actually pairs really well with the seafood too. If you want a spicy stew, this is it! Noodles are thick and chewy too. -Bossam: so yummy! I wish I could get it more often but it's a huge portion, so come with a group so you can try it and the noodles! Everything is quality- the bossam slices, the lettuce, the toppings on the wide. Chefs kiss! My only small gripe is the portions are so big that when I come with one other person, we only have the stomach capacity to eat two dishes! Always excited to come back and try more.

We were seated immediately which was super nice and able to order fairly quickly. The restaurant is decently sized and run by the nicest people ever. They were very patient and courteous our whole dining experience in the restaurant. The menu is extensive but with the humid weather my friend and I were very excited for a bowl of cold noodles. The cold noodles were perfect, and the portions were huge for the price you pay! Everything was delicious, and the banchan was probably some of the best I've ever had at any Korean restaurant in the US. Highly recommend coming here if you're in the area!

It was a busy day for Mul Naeng-Myeon but they conveniently had a couple tables for us. They can get busy, and there was a line forming as we were eating, so it is understandable if the service can seem a little pushy at times, and this comes out in very subtle ways (i.e. There's no AC, only a small fan. If they want you to leave, they'll position the fan away from you). Cold water is also only available upon request, as well as extra napkins. Otherwise, you'll be wiping your mouth with a one-ply napkin the whole time. The banchan was great. I especially loved the onions and perilla leaves. The kimchi tasted fresh and tangy, but the radishes were a bit too sweet and cut very clunky. The Naeng-Myeon was good; it tasted very heavily of sesame, and not much else. The meat was also pretty tough to chew. Very filling, but expensive for the amount of meat you get. Definitely made use of the vinegar and mustard, which they eventually took away to give to another table. I'm thinking I just ordered the wrong thing and came on the wrong day. I saw what other people ordered, and it looked delicious, always served with enthusiasm. Next time, I'll have what they're having.
