Excellent staff, great beers and food! Dirty Dogs and Spicy Garlic Wings. That is all

Nice place! I had the grilled cheese with short rib and my boyfriend had the chicken and waffle. Both were delicious. Our waiter was great, helped us out with deciding on drinks (we got the cider which was very good). Very nice staff. Will be returning . read more

This place has really improved since its initial opening, and since my first review. The food menu has expanded quite a bit, it's more reasonable, and the staff is really friendly. It has over time become one of my local go-to's. My only wish is it was a bit busier some nights, but I guess they probably wish so too! read more

My friend and I decided to give it a try on "a whim" and we were both pleasantly impressed. Nice selection of beer and really nice staff! I'd definitely come back. read more

We arrived starving and left satisfied. The food was excellent and was prepared quickly. I had the fish tacos. My son had the southern fried chicken sandwich on a waffle. He said it was the best sandwich he'd ever had. The service was fast and friendly. The resturant was clean and in a great spot close to the riverfront. read more

This was my first time here, the food was incredible, and so was the beer. Pleasant dining experience, the wait staff are knowledgeable of the food and the drinks, and very kind. Super accomodating. 10/10 would recommend to a friend! Also going to bring my girlfriend here! read more

Yonkers Brewing Co. is a great atmosphere and a good location. When they first opened, i really enjoyed their food. Now, it really went down hill. The burgers are served on store bought buns, there's no effort put into them or any of the food that is made there. Recently, I had the chicken and waffles sandwich and it looked very questionable. The chicken was a pink/red color and the taste was awful. I couldn't finish it and the few bites i had, made me very sick the next day. The was my last chance to eat the food there. They do, however, have a good happy hour. $5 drafts, can't beat that. Yonkers Brewing Co. PLEASE figure out your ventilation system too. Be aware, you will leave smelling like fried food! read more

The beers are great but the food menu is a bit disappointing. Changes have been made and not for the better. I suggest more finger foods and more recipes utilizing the awesome beer they have (for example, beer-battered onion rings/fries, beer & cheese soup, pretzel with beer cheese dip, etc.). Why does anyone want to eat brussel sprouts with beer? I love them, but not with my beer. And I really miss the flatbread, which was awesome. :( read more

Food and beer here is awesome. I tried the hummus platter and their mussels and my husband and friend ordered shrimp tacos. I ordered the Main Street flight and all the beers on that menu were great. Especially the dubbel. They have games you can play and tvs everywhere. I just wish they would fix the leakage problem. I don't know if it was the AC or the storm outside, but they had wet signs everywhere and water leaking from the ceilings. read more

I feel like I've become a regular at this place. I love that it's in an old trolley storage house, very cool space. Go for the beer (of course), wings, fish tacos, live music, and board games. read more

Such a fun place, conveniently located near the Yonkers Metro-North session. There's a beer for every taste; I particularly liked the Kolsch. All the staff were really nice and the apps were good, too. We'll be back. read more

Let's put it this way. If you want to drink beer and talk super loud with your six girlfriends or best buds, under very high ceilings and flat screen TVs, you're in luck. Yonkers brewery is your typical warehousey, craft beer, gals in ponytails and guys in sports jerseys type of place. BUT if you want to eat dinner.....not so much. Simply put, it's airport food. Edible, vaguely familiar and fattening. That's it in a nutshell. Ta Ta for now! read more

Eddie is the best!! Despite running out of their Yonktoberfest & Pumpkin ale, we made the most of our fall escapde to Yonkers brewery & enjoyed 4 flights !! We had the awesome brussel sprouts & nachos !! Eddie was our server & I couldn't say enough about his service, suggestions, and great table-side manner!! Props to y'all!! read more

Cool atmosphere, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, location by the waterfront is nice, though parking can be tough. My husband really liked the beer selection - we had a Groupon for two flights if four, so we got to sample eight different varieties. The food was so-so. We got the pulled pork nachos, which were recommended, and they were good but bland. My husband got fish tacos which he thought were very good. I got parmesan brussel sprouts which were good, and chicken fingers which were flavorless and overcooked. I had ordered a gelato dessert that came with girl scout cookies and whipped cream. The waitress suggested I get 2 different gelato flavors together, and they were out of girl scout cookies so were substituting another cookie. What I got was one scoop of salted caramel gelato in a small bowl - no second flavor, no cookie, no whipped cream. Apparently they didn't have any of the other ingredients either, but didn't tell the waitress. They had also run out of one of the specials they were serving that night. We were there at 6:30 pm on a Saturday so it's weird they were out of so many items. It's a trek for me to get there so I probably won't go back, but if you live nearby it might be worth a shot. read more

I have been waiting for Yonkers Brewery to open, and have experienced this place now a few times with no disappointment. Owners & staff are awesome, food menu a change up, and the Smoked Marzan a hit with me. read more

Yonkers Brewing Co. - Smoked Marzan...My Fav - Gastropubs Near Me - Yonkers, New York

Enjoyable. Really nice staff. Good food and beverages. Casual. Some tables are for multi groups. Great place for live music. Easy street parking. read more

Abysmal. Yonkers Brewing Company was one of the worst food experiences I have had in many years (if only a 0 star rating was accepted). Ordered chicken and waffle sandwich with Mac and cheese, not only did it not come as pictured it didn't even come fully constructed. I received one chicken thigh, two soggy microwave waffles and a Dixie cup of Mac and cheese. Truly pathetic. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

Amazing food and great service. Everything was fresh and tasted great, and the staff couldn't have been any nicer. An overall tremendous place to go to eat. read more

Love this place! I try to get here a couple times a month but it's definitely a go-to spot when we have friends and family in from out of town. Great beer, tasty food and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and even though it's a brewery it's a great family friendly atmosphere. Location by metro north is very convenient as well. read more

Awesome location. Had fun and the people are very nice. The food is good and the selection of beer is really large.

Came here for dinner last night with my family. First, it's open seating so be prepared to seat yourself and wait for a server to notice you. My husband and I had 'girl on the train' and 'jack & ginger' for drinks. I know it's a brewery, but liquor is always our preference. We had to send back his drink because it tasted just like ginger ale. My drink had no traces of alcohol, but I didn't want to complain. For appetizers and dinner, we ordered pulled pork nachos (chips with cheese and raw jalapeños thrown on top, skip!), wings (that never came), chicken and waffles (cardboard waffle and rubbery chicken), a burger and fish tacos. The waiter told me the tacos were good and a decent size. I trusted him. I can count the number of times I've had to send back food in my life. I almost refuse to send back food because I know it gets thrown out and my next dish has a chance of coming back.. not so clean. I had to send back the fish tacos, I couldn't make it past one bite and I was scared I'd get sick. The waiter was visibly annoyed with us, I don't blame him, I'd be annoyed with us too. I ordered a burger and it was pretty good. In the end, the waiter didn't realize our wings never came and we were charged. He removed it, with no apologies about a missing order. Maybe stick to this place for just beer because everything else is a complete disappointment. read more

Another nice evening here. All different beer choices from last visit not long ago. Only quibble: why leave the door open when it's 87 degrees outside? Looks like a crime against the environment. If want to say "Open," put a sign in the window. read more

Good beers, not so good food. Wr ordered some chili fries and arrived frozen cold. If you go just for beers it should be good. I wouldn't recommend the food. read more

My husband and I were excited about our first visit to Yonkers Brewing Co. on Saturday afternoon. The first impression was really good. The place was not crowded and the menu was extensive. I chose fish tacos and my husband had potato and cheese pierogies with bratwurst listed under "big plates". He also ordered 914 Vienna Lager on tap. As I glanced over behind the bar, I noticed the bartender pouring the beer not from a tap but a can. Pouring beer out of the can in the brew pub, really?! It was not even trying to pretend to be cold. When our food arrived, I was really excited but soon I was turned off by a completely cold flour tortilla. My husband's pierogies were very tasty as well as bratwurst, however, the portion was not big at all. The waitress was really nice, laid back, and efficient. We bought some really nice T-shirt as well as six packs of beer. We did not receive our change of 18 cents back. It is honestly not a big deal, just a matter of principle. The place has a great potential, however, the little things added up. read more

Great food, great service! Really nice spot by the Yonkers waterfront. For brunch, the America breakfast burger is great and the garlic parmesan wings were awesome. Bottomless brunch drinks for $20 were worth it. read more

Very nice experience at this spot! The bartender Joe was extremely personable, he helped me decide which beer to order and happily gave me samples after I explained what I usually drink. The brussel sprouts were my favorite. They were prepared and dressed in a super unique manner, I loved them!! Parmesan cheese and bacon? Yes please! I'll definitely return. Super happy for places like this in my neighborhood. read more

Planned a special birthday event for my boyfriend and the night got totally ruined. We came here together in feb and decided to come back for his b day weekend. We even asked the waiters about their party events. When we got there for the special day, what they had planned for us was totally different than what we had discussed for the past two weeks. It wasn't an event, they just set 11 tables and chairs, nothing more. We were notified to have a 3 hour all u can drink option with foods ordered when we got there. All they gave us were seats. He was devastated. I dont think we are coming back here ever again. Please save yourself time and devastation and never plan your special events/ day here. read more

We were in Yonkers for our son's basketball tournament and brought the whole team here in between games for lunch. It was perfect. Big menu, lots of space, good service and even a foozeball table to keep them entertained. The adults and kids all enjoyed their food -- fish tacos, chicken and waffles, salads, wraps and more. read more

Stopped here for a cool one while exploring Untermeyer and the Yonkers waterfront. They brew an impressive array of beer. Sat at the bar and shared a flight. Great brews, all very different. Ordered some snacks, which were tasty. Laid back feel, lots of wood, tables outside. A raucous group at a nearby table cheered the soccer match on the large screen tvs. We'll be back! read more

Great lunch with friends. Went to visit the Waterfront with some friends who were born and raised in Yonkers but hadn't been back to the area for like 20 years. Many wonderful changes to the area. The Brewery was quiet for a Monday at lunch, but good service, and excellent eats. Had the Pulled Pork Nachos and Sweet and Tangy wings (asked for and got extra sauce for dipping). We had the Shrimp Tacos and Market Chicken Wrap for lunch. The wrap was way overstuffed -- took 1/2 home for lunch tomorrow (smile). The sides - nacho and potato chips were crunchy and not greasy at all. The Granny Smith Apple slaw was different and very tasty. Finished the meal off with gelatos, the Girl Scout Cookie with gelato was a nice touch. The Moro beer, a nice blood orange taste, was refreshing and light. Great atmosphere, laid back but friendly. Excellent value! read more

The beer here is amazing. We got food to go the food was great but they put the slaw in same box as sandwich. And we know what that means soggy bread. But overall very good, will be going back for sure read more

What a great addition to the waterfront area! The first impression with closed in patio and tables is great. The menu is well laid out and the beer section is huge. The laid back feel of being able to sit and not be rushed is nice after a long day. read more

Fish Tacos are amazing!!! And the brews are awesome! Great atmosphere for stopping in for beer or watching the game.

Three stars for the beer and food which my wife and I had no problem with, and enjoyed. Zero stars for service, and here's why. My wife and I had a Groupon for 2 flights and 1 appetizer that we received as a gift. After enjoying our flights and appetizer we decided to add a pint and a lower priced menu item on to our tab. We assumed the item we ordered with our flights would be what was included with the Groupon offer. However when we received our check it was more than expected. We were informed that the lower priced item comes off the tab for the Groupon. This was not mentioned anywhere in the fine print. Had we known we would have closed out the Groupon and started a new tab. Something our server could have easily explained to us. It is something I would have done, and I am in food services. The money is not the point, but we felt taken advantage of. We won't be coming back anytime soon. Thank you Yonkers Brewery for turning an otherwise pleasant experience into one where customers left felt feeling taken advantage of. P.S. I sent this as an email to Yonkers Brewery giving them a chance to respond. They wrote back agreeing with me, asking for more information. I provided it and have not hear back over three weeks later. BEWARE IF YOU USE A GROUPON HERE. read more

Place is fantastic! Had dinner, drinks, parties here...never once have I ever had what could be considered even remotely a bad experience. Staff is extra friendly and professional. Food is phenomenal. Highly recommend! read more

For the 4-beer tasting menu, they tell you to "pick a street" from the 3 options. I chose "Hudson" which was a great selection including an American IPA, a Session IPA, a Schwarzbier and a Belgian strong ale. Our Groupon included the tasting for 2 and an appetizer. We chose the buffalo boneless chicken, which was delicious and a good portion size. I added 'Dawn's fish tacos' to it, and even though the menu said 'taco' it turned out to be two. The beer-battered fish filets filled the entire taco and were fantastic. read more

A great addition to the Yonkers scene! I'm a local girl who likes to see different and cool establishments add themselves to Yonkers (one, if not THE, biggest city in Westchester) instead of all good things going to other cities/towns in the area. Yonkers Brewing has a great vibe - both long communal tables and private tables, for whatever your pleasure. For both Yonkers Brewing and other establishments in the area, I've always been able to find parking fairly easily, so no worries there. Also, the train station is RIGHT there, so that's another easy mode of transportation available. Now, on to the important stuff - the food and drink. I've been following Yonkers Brewing from when they had only one varietal - Yonkers Lager. They have grown to having approx. 10 different beers on tap now (maybe more, I didn't count). But for me, it was enough variation that I was able to do a tasting of 5 different beers and felt like they were all unique, before I settled on my preference. The menu is great for some nibbles with your drink, but I wouldn't consider the options like a full meal. I tried a few different things (including the fish tacos, the pretzel, the crispy potatoes, the brussel sprouts). My fav was definitely the fish tacos, but again, not a meal. Since this is a relatively new establishment, especially when I visited, they hadn't ironed out all the minor issues, but I'm confident they will. (For example, my crispy potatoes were not that crispy). Definitely a fun place to gather with friends to eat, drink and be merry! read more

If you're going to call yourself a gastropub, I expect more than paper plates and pathetic, not even trying food presentation. Those two things were an ominous warning that the food itself would prove to be some of the worst I've ever paid for. I've had workers cantina food in communist Hungary that was better than this. The beer? fine ... the beer is good ... no problems there as such. But seriously?? You think I would come back for this food? Never. I ordered fish tacos, companion ordered a burger. My tacos came with what looked like a large fish stick with a flour tortilla wrapped around it. inside I found aproximately 12 soggy strands of thin-cut purple cabbage and a paltry shmeer of green salsa. No crunch on the bland beer batter, no texture of any kind of the "toppings" and the rest of the Chinette paper plate was graced with a half-hearted pile of dry tortilla chips (no salsa or dip of any kind) and three (we counted twice to make sure that there weren't four, or two for each taco) slices of jalapeno pepper. I have rarely paid so much to eat something so revolting. Fish tacos well done are a joy - the Corbett fish house in Portland, OR has a plate I dream about to this day. But my vision of Mardi gras-themed hot seasoned crisp catfish chunks with wasabi slaw and fresh tomato and avocado garnish were dashed on the rocks of the profound nothingness of this meal. Companion noted that blue cheese burger was likewise devoid of any kind of texture and left exactly zero impression on the palette. Yonkers is a wonderland of delicious ethnic food of all varieties, so I'll choose Irish breakfast, middle eastern or Japanese lunch, and Cuban or Portugese dinner in this town ANY day of the week. I'm all for a "YOHO" renaissance, but Yonkers Brewing Company has a long way to go to even get into the ballpark with the other culinary heavy hitters in this town. read more

Had a GREAT day at Yonkers Brewing Co. I worked with Jackie to plan a surprise birthday party for my husband. We were so happy with the service, food and especially drinks at Yonkers Brewing.
