We chose this place for my husband's birthday this past weekend and it was a fantastic time! This brewery has MUCH more space inside then I thought it would and it has a great vibe. Nice long tables (great for groups), a delicious food menu and great beer to boot (try the IPA or the vanilla stout, major yum). The service was just what we were looking for--attentive without being pushy or anything. The staff in general was very kind to our group; they stopped by our table a few times to see how we were doing and even went so far as to break out candles once they saw I had brought cupcakes for my husband's birthday! Overall, it was a total home run. If you enjoy a laid back environment with good food, great beer and an awesome staff, then you need to check this place out! Thanks so much to Yonkers Brewery, we will be back! read more

We visited here because we had ordered a groupon for a tour, 4 flights, and 2 appetizers. Service was very slow to start... Took a while to get our waiter to give us some real attention and he didn't know how to handle the groupon. Shortly after, one if the owners came out and she was lovely. She recommended the crunchy country chicken and the Brussels sprouts- both of which were delicious! The cinnabomb waffle (decorated like a bunny!) was good, but I hated the sauce. My friends all enjoyed their food - meat omelette, sausage & egg sandwich, chips & guac. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't choose our own flights because they are preselected for you, but we were really pleased with the ones we tried! The Honey Blonde and Smoked Marzen were my favorites. The brewery tour was small and short, but the fill-in tour guide was great (the regular tour guide was sick that day). The building is an old trolley barn and the overall atmosphere is great! Retro music and a box of board games make this place a very cool hangout. read more

Such an awesome place to hang out and have great food. Perfect location by the train, garage parking lot. They have a really cool atmosphere and it seems like a perfect go to place! read more

Big fan of my home city and this brewery makes me even more proud to be from here. Love this place - awesome atmosphere (sitting outside in the summer is absolutely perfect!), super friendly bar & waiting service, and most importantly.. really great beers. They let you sample the beer before you order if you'd like but I'd also reco their flight options. I'd love to give YBC a 5 star rating but their food for me is really sub par. I've tried their wings and the brats and while the servings are small, the taste is mediocre at best. Obviously still coming back here because everything else is pretty wonderful... and I'm #basic and waiting for their pumpkin beer to finish brewing. read more

Overpriced, average craft beer, and the food is on par with eating at a snack bar at the beach. Once was enough, and even though it's not their fault, parking in the area is horrendous. Nothing to see here. read more

Me and my girl went in not knowing where to start. And Jessica our bartender was very patient with us helping us to find the right beer for our Sunday enjoyment. It's great to support local businesses with nice people. read more

I recently took my son to the Yonkers Brewing Co. for dinner. This is one of those places where you really have to know what to order. We ordered the cheddar gorge burger, pulled pork nachos, crispy parmesan brussels sprouts, and a Hop Runner beer. Everything about the burger was great: The cheese, the bun (which was made next door), the burger (a beef & pork mix), and the bacon. The brussels sprouts were delicious if a tiny bit undercooked. The combination of the bacon and parmesan cheese worked really well together, like the ultimate umami bite. The pulled pork nachos, however, were terrible. The tortilla chips were stale. The processed cheese was bland. They should have used real cheese like the wonderful sharp cheddar on the burger. The guacamole was over mixed so as to eliminate any possible texture. It was also incredibly bland. There was no salsa, just a few slices of raw jalapenos and some cherry tomatoes. The pulled pork literally had no seasoning at all. I mean no salt, no BBQ sauce, nothing. In fact, none of the ingredients had any salt on them, even the stale chips. I ended up trying to add salt, but the shaker barely worked. The Hop Runner is a good beer, but the happy hour special of $5 doesn't seem like much of a special price to me. read more

I like to keep my reviews to the point and short. I always tell it like it is. This place has a creative edge when you compare the menu to most bar choices. I had the short rib grilled cheese which was decent. The meat was tender and had good flavor but the Texas toast was awful and there was very little cheese on it. Chips were bland but the best part was the crispy Brussel sprouts with bacon, a good addition to your meal. The reason for two stars. When you take it all in, this place doesn't do enough to make it worth the price. read more

Their beers are good, so is the experience here. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the food is just awful. They should really look into stepping up their game with regards to the food on their menu. Good food would be a game changer for me. read more

Killer food, and amazing beer. The Yonkers Brewing Co. should be visited by anyone who live near YO

Went here for brunch and I ordered the Salmon Benedict + Chicken and Waffle. The Salmon Benedict was really good, really good. It was served with greens and whole grain toast. Chicken and Waffle was served with whip cream, chipotle sauce and maple syrup on the side. I had a Yonktoberfest beer, it was okay. Ended up paying about $40 Staff was kind, service was quick, I'll go back again. read more

3.5........To start off with it is a cool location not far off the Hudson river. It opens at a reasonable time if you have an early lunch like me. Parking kinda sucks because it is metered but we usually find a spot in front. The food has got better although I stick with the basics. The service is okay..... The beer is awesome..... read more

This place rocks. I see Yonkers Vienna Lager and IPA, and recently the Shower Time all over the place, but until I went there I didn't realize HOW MANY beers they brew!! More than 12 on tap!!! Vast majority of the beers here are solid. And quite varied. They seem to always have a few German varieties on tap, and I know they do a Oktoberfest event out on the street. I feel like they have upped their food game recently as well. We always try to gab a growler here. I wish they sold cans or bottles too.... It's literally a 2 minute walk from the Yonkers Metro-North station. Super easy trip, and worth it. Seems Downtown Yonkers is going thru a re-vitalization, and this place is doing its part in that. Happy to support it. Like it so much, I got the tee-shirt! read more

I went here this past Saturday with a group of friends from a local Meetup group (Westchester Geeks, represent!). We were greeted to a large, open-air seating style location. Big tables and plenty of room (ideal for board games and a few brews). We all ordered a little bit of food from their brunch menu. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. The beer - awesome. Big shout out to our server, Cameron. Really accommodating and attentive! I will definitely be (a) recommending this to others and (b) be making some board gaming and brews a monthly thing with friends. read more

Great service, great food and excellent beer! Went down on a Friday afternoon for lunch with my boyfriend for a drink and lunch. We were welcomed by the bartender, Kristen, who was awesome. We set at the bar. My boyfriend doesn't drink anything but Budlight, I work at a restaurant that serves craft beers but can't get him to try anything different. However, the bartender, Kristen, suggested he try the Dortmunder. He did and he loved it (he ended up walking out with a 64 oz Growler of it). I got the flight and had her pick all the beers for me, all were amazing, and I am not a beer drinker at all. We got the hummus and the pretzel as our apps followed by shrimp tacos and kale grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. Our bartender made the experience great and we can't wait to go back. read more

What a nightmare! Wanting a chill night and a few beers, my sisters and I went to YBC on a Friday evening. We grabbed a table near the front windows, and ordered a flight. I was a bit annoyed that you can't pick an choose your beers. The flights are pre-chosen. What's the fun if you can't experiment? Forget fun. Or enjoyment. Five minutes later, the band started. They were horrendously awful with the bass turned to the maximum. You could feel the building shaking. Keep in mind it's 8pm in Yonkers. Not 3am at a rave. We asked the waitress about the extreme volume and bass... but she just shrugged. Maybe she knew it was only to get worse. We couldn't leave since we already ordered, and decided to make the best of it -- even if we couldn't even talk to each other. And had to use hand signals to show which beers we liked or hated. Nothing was loved. Then the kids came. Seriously. 8pm on a Friday night at a brewery and an entire JV basketball team had three tables reserved. So now there was the screeching and thumping band and the screams of 20+ fourteen year olds. We asked for the check. That took another 15 minutes. And then it wasn't even our check. What a miserable 45 minutes. Out $70 for so-so beer and a headache. read more

It's a great chill spot, the beer is terrific and the people are awesome. They make they're own brew so if you don't know what you would like, they will let you have sample beer of any kind you think you might like. My favorite light beer is Golden Logger, and my favorite heavey drink is Belgium Golden (I love gold!!!) Austin Powers if anyone remembers lol. All and all its a great place to be weather it's just to relax and watch some sports on one of many TV's, or just gather over for a drink and socialise with anyone. Perfect conversation starter would be complementing the look of the beer someone has lol. read more

Had a bday party set for 11 people at a set price all you can drink. However, Jon Rubbo decided to change up our dinner and drink plans as soon as we arrived. I'm not sure how a business like this runs for my birthday dinner. I'm extremely upset and hope no one else ever plans a dinner or party with brewery. Shame on you Jon. We spent 3 weeks to plan this dinner out, yet you decided to pull a fast one on us. This is the last time I ever book a dinner with you. Stopped by to use my groupon which was soon expiring and I'm very glad I did. A quick stop off of metro north to a beautifully lit open spaced area with baseball and soccer on great viewing televisions. Had 3 different flights and found quite a few favorites in a total of 12. I cannot rave enough about the very Brussels sprouts and the pure volume that was too much for three of us to share. Definitely give this place a try read more

I would say that this rating is based solely on my experience related to Covid precautions, I had no issues with my food or beer selection. There was no social distancing between tables, the bar had separate groups of patrons sitting along side one another and in my opinion, I'd prefer what most businesses are doing and leave an empty table in between or assign seats rather than let customers sit wherever. I was literally in a corner with 2 other parties and mentioned something to the waiter because we had already been there and were getting ready to eat. To each their own, but what's the point of the mask policy if you're going to sit that close anyways. read more

My husband and I went here and each got a different beer flight. The beers we tried were good and each flight was an interesting variety. We got local spring rolls/dumplings and also soft pretzels to eat. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. Food is a little pricey for what you get but I think most people come for the beer. Staff was friendly and greeted us right away. Worth checking out if you want to try some local beers. read more
