Been eyeing this place tucked in behind Mickey Ds Right on the side of the road. Small and cozy not exactly for big parties but for a small family or coupled. It's the ol' school form bed and breakfast style. Music flowing through the air as you walk in. The proprietor asked us to find a seat and someone will be with you. Now I noticed some reviews complaining no prices on the menu, well on Yelp the run down of the menu has the prices. The wait staff was friendly spoke Spanish at first but completely bi lingual the chips and salsa good chips Okay not stale salsa taste made in house nice kick. My wife ordered tosada cevieche and hard shell potato tacos I got wet Verde carnitas burrito and a carne asada taco. Potato tacos were good my side taco bigger then a street taco size meat dices but cooked well with pico with it. Cevieche barely passed tmy wifes test it was my wife is picky she said it's a little blan not a usual comment from my wife, unfortunately my wife doesnt recommended this. I did love the Plating. My burrito was well plated and a good size well covered in sauce. Well packed and flavorful good amount of meat. Satisfying. Started walking recently and walked by Yoli's and decided to try this little place out. It's a small building in the Ralph's parking lot. First time we were there, I decided to try the chilaquiles. When I saw they had mole chilaquiles, I had to have them. Mole is so good-- little on the sweet side but chocolaty and well seasoned. Husband had Huevos Divorciados and the sauces were tasty. Came back a few weeks later and he had for ham and eggs breakfast and I had the huevos a la Mexicana breakfast trying to be healthy, ya know? The potatos were not greasy at all well seasoned in a red sauce that was a pleasant surprise. Today, husband had the chilaquiles divorciados and I ordered from the More Healthy Breakfast and got the egg whites, frijoles de la olla, and chicken for a high protein breakfast and it was good. The salsa is so good, too. What is underrated is the coffee. It's got cinnamon in it adds that touch of nostalgia and warmth. I ask for it over ice because I do walk to Yoli and is still so good! This is one strange restaurant. First of all, no pricing - anywhere! Not on the menus, not at the menu board above the counter - nowhere! Naturally, this type of behavior would lend one to think pricing depends upon mood. And, a three percent fee on all orders. Not just on credit card orders (which is still unacceptable), but on all orders. Explanation for the fee? Not really. (I guess they just want to add three percent to the nonexistent menu prices.) I had a couple simple requests that were unmet. Double rice, instead of rice & beans? No problem, until the plate arrives with rice and beans. I asked for change for a 20, requesting some singles. Two 5s and a 10 show-up. Minor things, but annoyances just the same. Now, why am I giving a fairly decent rating with all these faults? The food IS good (I had the Steak Picado), and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is typical of a small mom-and-pop. Would I recommend? Maybe, once they get a little more transparent with the way they do things. Until then, I wish Yoli's the best, but I'll be going elsewhere. read more

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. It was great at first and very welcoming. Over the years we noticed customer service started being non existent. Today I called attempted to phone an order in but I was told it would take 45 min to an hour because they were busy. The food is authentic Mexican and good, the place itself is small. The Food - I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with machaca. Personally I always grade a Mexican food restaurant by their ability execute chilaquiles. Yoli's did an outstanding job. The chilaquiles had some crunch, this is very important, no one likes soggy chilaquiles, the sauce was tasty and the portions were good. The Service - It was okay, the waiter was in a hurry but, he was nice. I'll mention that he was the only waiter and was doing a great job multitasking, they'll do great by hiring one more. From the looks of things they only have one cook, but, he's good, and it's probably why the food gets delayed a bit. The Ambiance - Place is a bit dated, but you're not going here for fine dining, your coming here for a good breakfast or lunch. So don't let that put you off. Overall, good job with the food Yoli's. Where do I start? Their food is very bland, starting with the chips and salsa. No restrooms for customers, not even to wash your hands. Oh, and the owners make sure you're aware they're Trump supporters , really? look you can support whoever you want but for the owner to be walking all over the restaurant with his red Trump hoodie and MAGA hat is not okay with me, not only that, but he was conducting business on the phone the whole time we were there, speaking very loud, sorry but I don't want to hear your whole business plans while we're trying to eat. The food is outstanding. It's always good to have Mexican food options in So Cal, specially when they are serving good food which is the case here at Yoli's mexican kitchen. The mole chilaquiles were scrumptious. I like the chocolate style mole which is sweet and savory. The tortilla chips where fried and crisp to perfection. The dish comes with two fried eggs and carne asada. The albondigas caldo which is meatball soup had a great deal of piquancy. And the short ribs in green salsa with fried eggs and beans was palatable. The service is quick and they are very attentive and professional and most importantly, friendly.
