Really nice nail work, and they listen to your wants. I really like the vibe. Friendly, quiet, and accommodating. I'll be back for sure! :)

First off she made my nails look like teeth and I had to keep correcting her on multiple nails, especially the right thumb. I let her know multiple times that this is not right and I even asked her "is this your best?" I received no response. I tried to show her a picture of what I wanted so she would know what to do and she didn't even look. The French tips I got were so thick and nasty I told her to take it off, with respect of course. She took it off and then top coated me. The residual paint from the French tips was left and I asked her to fix it. She shaved it off and did not put on another top coat. I asked her if this was it and she said yes. I let her know I was not satisfied and she did not respond. When I told the people at the front desk that I will be requesting a refund through my bank, she attempted to hold my card!!! This nail job lasted 2 hours for terrible results. I called my bank from the parking lot for a refund. Next time, let someone know if you cannot do a simple French tip. I was the only customer at the end of the night and around 5 workers began to argue with me. As I said before this was my first time there and I love getting my nails done, so this was by far a huge disappointment. These nails are ugly and I will be getting my money back. This event happened on 5/1/26.

This is the 4th year of me coming back to work near the area, and not once have I found a good hair…read moreplace. The barbershop close to this place failed in giving me a good line up, and a couple of spots in Beacon failed in giving me nice basic cornrows. So thinking, I'm completely done with finding options, I called up a hair supply store that sold black hair care products and asked where's the best place, so he recommended DJ's, but in particular, Lakeshia. So I went there just to get a simple wash and blow dry, so my fro can come out at max length but Lakeshia had already gone so I was addressed by another woman. Fair to say, all the other hair dressers that I went to couldn't do a simple wash & blow dry but this lady did the job past my expectations. So the reason I give the review a 4.5 is because my hair didn't turn back into a fro, it was straight as hell and she didn't even put anything in my hair like that but I rather it over done than under. Next experience was finally with Lakeisha a week later to get my hair braided. When I walked in, she was incredibly humble. She washed & blow dried my hair exactly how I wanted it and did my cornrows nice and smoothly and it came out perfect. Also to add, quick as hell, cause I went in at 5 and came out around 5:45. So it's solid to say that whenever I'm back in the area, this is my permanent go to spot. The price was definitely fair, and the service was quick and great... no wait time. Also, I do apologize if I got her name wrong... she either goes by Lakeisha or Takeisha... next time I won't forget for sure.

Very disappointed in the level of service and customer treatment. I was a repeat customer but…read moreno-more! I had a scheduled appointment to have my hair braided with Leddie. I washed my hair (which is natural so it springs up and is unruly when not blown out). I drove over an hour to get to the appointment, only to sit down and be immediately told, by Leddie that she would not be doing my hair today. Why, because she triple booked herself and she would be too tired to do my hair. THIS WAS A PLANNED APPOINTMENT! She made no concessions or offer to how to amicably resolve the issue. Leddie had a second braider there working on the same head with her. Did she think that maybe they could each do a sperate braid job to move things along. I guess Leddie was just to lazy to do to the hair by herself. I admit, I got upset, but who wouldn't. Its a Sunday in Peekskill, not to many choices on where to get my hair done and I drove a long distance. So instead of her falling back, as I am leaving and loudly grumbling, she is going to walk from behind her chair and toward the exit and start talking non-sense, because she did not like my words. She even had the audacity to say "put me on Facebook I don't care". So here it is! By the way, yes, the owner of the salon was there and she offered no assistance or alternatives. People make mistakes, but I am accustom to businesses and business owners who care about their brand taking responsibility and fixing the issue, not treating the customer dismissively and rudely. I was grateful to find a place in Ossining that could do my hair. Not only was I treated respectfully there but my hair came out much nicer.

As soon as she sat me down in the pedicure chair, my nail tech lets out a huge burp! No mouth covered just right at me belches. My mom and I just stared at each other in amazement. As an esthetician who is very attentive to sanitation protocols, this place is disgusting. Nothing is clean, nothing is sanitary. They will pluck your cuticles, rinse the tool in the tub while your feet are still soaking, dry it on the paper towel they put your feet on, and chuck it back in the bin. The towels were ice cold, the stones were ice cold, and her massage was pitiful - rushed and unenjoyable. She yawned, wiped her face, and coughed all over my legs the entire time. This place is a sad excuse for an establishment and 100% one of the dirtiest and most unsanitary businesses I've ever come across in my life.

While I was getting my nails filled, the man who did them cut me a little and he would of kept using his materials if I had not told him that I preferred to wash my hands (with their watered down soap) so none of his tools were contaminated. After he was finished with the fill, the lady at the front desk finished it off. She kindly massaged my hands with lotion and went on to apply the nail polish I chose. I didn't like their nail polish selection, there were too few choices. Overall, the environment isn't too nice and their hospitality is average. Now I believe it's called "7 day Nail Salon"

Not even sure if this place is called Creative anymore, but I went here a really really long time…read moreago, maybe even years ago, and during this time there was multiple people here, very busy, good artists. After years of not going here I finally went here about 4x in total for the past 2 months and the experience was a 1 star rating. There was only 2 people doing nails, if you come here when there's people here it could be up to a 30 min wait, and the lady who did my nails did it so fast and so quick that she ended up not even doing a good job. The nail polish would come off the next day, and I even ended up with a few cuts from her doing it so fast. After about 3 days after getting my nails done, I would always have to paint it over with a new color because the color never lasted, they didn't even put top coat over it! The one time they did french, it looked HORRIBLE and I wanted gel painted on top of my nails. Their "gel" that they put was just a heavy top coat, it wasn't no gel! I was mad, an extra $5 for just putting on top coat. Every time I went here I paid about $20-30. Average I spent was $20 and I gave a $2 or so which isn't a bad price, but you get what you pay for because the nails was horrible. I could of done better job doing my own nails. Needless to say, I am not going back here.
