I had acknowledged their work and tipped accordingly (more the 40%). I should not have to prove to management that I tipped, nor should I be put in the uncomfortable position of justifying my personal tipping decisions. What I found particularly inappropriate was how quickly I was judged and approached without being given the benefit of the doubt. It was especially ugly and inappropriate to bring this up in front of my young daughters My children are very well behaved, and they did not deserve to hear this. The fact that management chose to address this in front of them says a great deal about the lack of professionalism and maturity shown in that moment This expierence left a very poor impression of the salon and reflects a lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect for the customer. Customers should feel appreciated for their business, not judged or pressured to pay more.

There are lots of colors to choose from and the prices are very reasonable and affordable. Last time I got nails I got acrylics with a very nice simple design. Apparently salons don't do acrylics now? I walked in and showed that design and was recommended some type of gel tip manicure, I asked how long it will last, I was told two weeks and I would have to come back to get them filled. Acrylics last 5-6 weeks. She then told me for what I wanted would be $100+ and that was only for a manicure. I was hesitant, they asked me to wait and I thought about leaving, but I overheard another person ask for a manicure and pedicure and was quoted $50. So I asked the man who was running around and the lady who first quoted me intervened. I asked how long a regular gel manicure would last and was told two weeks also. Why would I pay 3 times the amount when it will last the same amount of time. I felt like she was trying to just take my money instead of explaining my options. I was taken to get a pedicure and manicure by one of the nail ladies who was very pleasant and further explained my manicure options so I understood. However, I was very turned off from this place because they do not clean their tools. They used the cuticle cutters, wiped it off quickly on a towel and put it back in the holder without properly cleaning. Ickkk. I felt my session was being rushed by the man who kept walking around and checking in on each of the salon ladies. Like he was timing them. My design came out very messy for a simple design, I could have had a small child do it, and I feel it was the added pressure of the lady being rushed by the manager. After the most basic pedicure and a questionable manicure, it was still almost $100. I saw a few bad reviews, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I would not recommend this spot. I would rather drive an hour to the salon closer to my mother's house and get it done properly and know the tools will be clean.

I was early and was greeted warmly by Joy who did my nails. She was VERY pleasant and so was the other woman working with her who was doing pedicures. (I'll be back for one!) I'd had acrylics done less than two weeks ago and they were falling off so Joy removed all them and was going to start fresh with the acrylics I cam in for, but she suggested I switch to a powder gel instead to give my nails a chance to recuperate from all the abuse they've been under. I REALLY appreciated her advice and honesty and took her advice, even though in the past I'd had powder manicures that didn't look great. WELL I was thrilled at the excellent job that Joy did on my nails and will not hesitate to come back! My nails feel so much better and look great.
