He didn't speak or engage at all during the service and cut my cuticle with the drill, causing bleeding. There was no apology or acknowledgment, just silence. I decided to give it another chance and returned for a second visit with JIM but the same thing happened again--my cuticle was cut and bleeding, with no apology or concern shown. I was done now. I originally switched from a salon in Mount Kisco because this location was further and more expensive, but after these experiences, I'll be going back. You truly get what you pay for. Last time I got nails I got acrylics with a very nice simple design. Apparently salons don't do acrylics now? I walked in and showed that design and was recommended some type of gel tip manicure, I asked how long it will last, I was told two weeks and I would have to come back to get them filled. Acrylics last 5-6 weeks. She then told me for what I wanted would be $100+ and that was only for a manicure. I was hesitant, they asked me to wait and I thought about leaving, but I overheard another person ask for a manicure and pedicure and was quoted $50. So I asked the man who was running around and the lady who first quoted me intervened. I asked how long a regular gel manicure would last and was told two weeks also. Why would I pay 3 times the amount when it will last the same amount of time. I felt like she was trying to just take my money instead of explaining my options. I was taken to get a pedicure and manicure by one of the nail ladies who was very pleasant and further explained my manicure options so I understood. However, I was very turned off from this place because they do not clean their tools. They used the cuticle cutters, wiped it off quickly on a towel and put it back in the holder without properly cleaning. Ickkk. I felt my session was being rushed by the man who kept walking around and checking in on each of the salon ladies. Like he was timing them. My design came out very messy for a simple design, I could have had a small child do it, and I feel it was the added pressure of the lady being rushed by the manager. After the most basic pedicure and a questionable manicure, it was still almost $100. I saw a few bad reviews, but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. I would not recommend this spot. I would rather drive an hour to the salon closer to my mother's house and get it done properly and know the tools will be clean.

I will say it was a very calm environment, extremely clean to appearance, easy location to find, parking is best around back behind the building it can be annoying to park on the main road (52). Nancy did my nails which I was happy about since I've heard great things about her. She did my gel polish manicure along with a paraffin wax dip and it was great. The best part is I only paid $27 +tip where as somewhere else you pay anywhere from $35-$40. Nancy was very gentle and on point with her technique. The only negative I could say is that they don't conversation much with you or each other, but that's not always bad if you just want to relax. Nancy gave two great short massages and was very good at her job. It was fast and on point I arrived at 10:50 AM and was out by 11:35 AM. Probably the fastest experience I've had at a nail spa/salon.

Cleanliness- good no complaints. Location- super convenient and the salon is huge and can accommodate a lot of people. Pedi chairs have the massage feature too!
