Wow this place is awesome! I do not live very close but Id come down just to have a treat. They have everything such as coffee, frappes, refreshers, boba and froyo smoothies, frolatos, gelato shakes, crepes, gelato, acai bowls, build your own froyo, and fudge. The fudge is $9 buy two get one free. The froyo to go quarts are $10 each buy two get one free. The Froyo is $0.63 per ounce and there are so many toppings to choose from. The service is amazing. When you walk in they ask if you have visited before, and they assist you. You must wear gloves they provide if you build your own froyo. They keep everything really clean and neat. In a very large strip mall complex in the Dearborn/Allen Park area. There is a small outside seating area. Inside seating is not currently allowed. Inside is a wall of froyo machines in various flavors, a toping bar, a small case of frozen geltinos for dishes or milkshakes, some fudge, and a crepes machine. Bubble tea is also availble. The toppings looked great. I had the crepes and they were very good. The staff were polite and friendly. There were a lot of flies and some food waste around at places. read more

I have been to a Yogurtown in the past. This time I decided to try one of my favorite sweet treats and that's Taro Bubble Tea. Only this time, a huge surprise, it's yogurt based bubble tea! I was afraid this would be too sweet for me but oh my the consistency was on point very decadent. I highly recommend trying the bubble tea here! Taro, with black tea base and no boba (bubbles) iced. I am not a huge fan of the bubbles so bubble free for me but so many flavors to choose from and you can get it frozen too. I also got a free reusable straw! I really wanted to like this place. Now granted I didn't go in for what I'm assuming is there main specialty, which is froyo, but my bubble tea craving got the best of me and so I tried that out. It was slightly on the pricey side for what you get, but not horrible. My biggest issue was just the taste itself. And maybe this was on me for trying to be adventurous and trying a unique flavor, but it did not taste good at all. I got the pomegranate. Not only did it not taste like pomegranate, but whatever it did taste like was just not good at all. And then there were the tapioca balls. Not good at all. Very mushy and just did not have a good taste. I may keep them in mind for future froyo visits, although there are a lot of other places I also want to try first, but definitely would not be coming back here for bubble tea. read more

Upon pulling up 30 minutes before close the one lady working was literally laying down, the other sitting down! When walking in the one laying down seemed very annoyed we were there, the other seemed very inviting and explained everything us! They operate like any froyo place, help yourself (right now they are requiring you wear gloves). 3 different froyo cup sizes, then add your froyo, toppings, sauces then weigh to pay! Definitely gives off "the place to hang" kinda vibes. Sugar and sweets everywhere you turn. Menu: 3.5/5 If this review was PURELY off the strength of the frozen yogurt I think I would have scored higher. They have two non-dairy options for frozen yogurt/sorbet: mango and mixed berry or the two swirled together. Delicious. The topping station was clean, lots of options, and fully stocked. Great experience. HOWEVER, I had the great misfortune of trying their boba. This is not a boba tea shop which I am aware. My standards were already lower just based on that. But if you offer boba, make it good. This was not the case here. You will not get the option of customizing your sweetness level which is fine to me. What's not ok was the traditional tapioca boba pearls and the flavor of the tea. They use the syrup or base of the frozen yogurts to flavor the drink. I tried this mixed berry. This resulted in a sickening sweet drink that was not enjoyable. The boba was not fresh, felt wrinkly, soggy, and without flavor. I had to toss is as soon as I got home. For those who like the jellies or popping boba you should be ok, but the flavor was just too artificial and overly sweet for me. Customer Service: 5/5 No complaints. Hmmmm we were on this side of town and the urge for frozen dessert hit, so we tried out this place. The Price was fairly normal Id say for a DQ style dish... but the quality and the service? The first window which held all the sprinkles and boba and jelly fruits was superb but the one which housed the frozen desserts was so warm that everything looked melted and gooey, in a bad way. My wife went to the Allen Park location on Tuesday night and both she bought the kids some frozen yogurt and got us a couple of bubble teas. My wife was ing it on the way home and said there was hard pieces in the drink. When she got home, both of our bubble teas had a bunch of broken plastic pieces in it. The pieces were the same color as their blue spoons. We called the store and we asked for a manger. The manager only states, "We don't give refunds" and we can get another drink. I would think that a shattered plastic spoon on the drinks would warrant a refund at minimum! Why would we want to drive back up there for another drink....one that most likely has pieces of plastic on it still! read more

Very clean and many flavor choices. 14 kinds of yogurt and another 14 of gelato! Also 60 toppings, smoothies and Gevalia coffee. There are 2 vegan sorbet flavors and they are on the same unit so you can mix them. Unfortunately only 1 yogurt was fat free, the rest were just low fat. They are the first place I have seen in Detroit using Belly for rewards which is great. We will probably drive the extra 10 minutes to Yogurtopia; they have less flavors but more fat free options plus espresso, crepes, and baked treats. read more

This place may offer a variety of flavors, including my personal favorite original tart, and they have a good amount of toppings, but the quality and taste of the yogurt was just downright disgusting. The young lady working there, although not the friendliest, was very generous with the sample cups. I came with a few other people and we tried out different flavors. I will ALWAYS recommend trying out a flavor before actually getting them, even if you've already had it many times before. You never know how the same familiar flavor is about to taste at a different place and a different time. Just take two seconds to test it out before committing to a bowl. The plain tart was bland. The only obvious taste is the sourness of the yogurt that I hope isn't from going bad. The chocolate was absolutely horrendous. It was very bitter and offputting. Now I'm a fan of dark chocolate. But if you think this is what I mean by bitter, then you too will be in for a surprise. The best way to describe it is an old chocolate pudding that has turned. Aside from this, the consistency of all their yogurt are watery. To avoid getting the worse of it, dispense some out before actually putting it in your cup. Their topping bar was okay. They offer a variety of fruits and chocolate goods amongst other things (like granola that tasted like cardboard). I was very disappointed to see that the candy options were very limited. They did not have any gummy options available, and that is something I'm used to having at every other yogurt shop. read more

I was here once before a couple years ago and thought the frozen yogurt could be creamier. I used a coupon for my recent visit, to fill up a cup as much as I want for $5. I was given the smaller cup---that should have been my first clue. At the register, I asked to see how much I saved. It was a whopping 19 cents. This is such a cool place located right by a bunch of shops such as Target and TJ Maxx. I left feeling quite satisfied with the quality of my frozen yogurt. They have a great selection of flavours and toppings for you to choose from, and I was also very impressed with how clean they kept the place. When serving yourself frozen yogurt, you need to wear gloves that are provided by the store. A+ for safety and cleanliness, I wish more businesses followed this place's lead! I almost never post negative reviews, but I was very disappointed with the service here. I came on a Wednesday to get their deal where they have flat pricing per cup. It was my first time here, and I was very excited to try it. I got the cake batter yogurt and so did my friend. We both tried it, and it was clearly mixed with another flavor and tasted horrible. We had all of our other friends try a small spoon and they confirmed that it did not taste right. My friend and I asked the girls at the counter if we would be able to switch out our cups, and they said they were going to try the cake batter themselves. After trying it from the machine, they said it tasted fine. One of my other friends got the cake batter as well after a few people did, and his tasted completely different (and much better). I assume it was from the machine filtering out the terrible taste we had. We asked if we could get a new cup, but they refused and said no refunds or exchanges. We both threw away a cup full of yogurt and were very sad for the rest of the night. Next time, we will be going to Menchies or another place. It does not hurt to be a decent person/company. read more
