I enjoyed my "gloppity" creation of cake batter and chocolate, with Oreo crumbles, sprinkles (duh!), and peanut butter sauce, that the sweet (pun intended) staff member got when neither of us saw it with the other offerings. Delicious!! I started going to yogurt land about 2 years ago. It is so yummy. I love how we can make our very own yogurts and add our own toppings. Almost every time I go, there is a new flavor of yogurt which I love. There are SO many different toppings. I didn't even know about this until a month ago, there is also sauces and other things above all the toppings. I love putting different flavors and toppings to make something new every time. Amazinggg ! I had previously visited this yogurt-land and suggested they add small mochi bites to the toppings bar and guess what?! THEY DID! Now my life is complete, lol. Kidding but not really kidding. Helpful tip; lunchtime is really busy so try to go earlier than 12 or after 2. The tart flavor is my favorite, can't go wrong. It's a perfect balance of sweet, sour & creamy. I top it off with mochi bites, strawberries & honey. Literally a match made in heaven. I added a few cheesecake bites for something a little extra that day, but usually I keep it simple. Anyways this place is bomb! I'm definitely not a big frozen yogurt guy but when I do partake in the curds and cultures, Yogurtland is on my short list. Look, I grew up with the now defunct Zip'z, the disgusting self-serve ice cream/yogurt franchise where every visit was deeply offensive to the health department, the EPA and frankly, to any boy who lived in a bubble. I'm surprised I can still look at the stuff. Yogurtland is clean and has the usual assortment of petrified and jellied toppings sure to pay for your dentist's next Lexus. And best of all there's not three coats of unicorn-laden cuteness like Pinkberry/Redberry and their ilk - so I don't walk out feeling like a ten year old who just ripped a five spot from my dad's wallet. While we're on the subject of money, bring some as gummi bears and marshmallow sprinkles don't work for scale. However, all things considered, in the waning days of frozen yogurt, things could be far worse and in my book that's a clean five stars. read more

If it is purely for the food taste alone, I would have given four stars. When we walked in, one of the staff, appears to be the manager was yelling at her own staff who is at the cash register in a very, yes, in a very loud voice. Felt very strange. Picked up the ice creams, when we came for topping, I was taking strawberry and pineapple and mistakenly dropped the pineapple spoon with the strawberry. A loud voice, "DONT DO THAT". I was taken aback. Instantly I apologized. She's just rubbed her nose with the back of her left hand and walked away! Another customer walked in. So after 5 years, the yogurt trend finally got to the middle of no where land: Hamilton, NJ. =) It has the same set up as all the other yogurtlands I've been to in So Cal and Cupertino, CA. The only thing is that they do not have all the usual "Asian" flavors like the original ones in California such as mango, green tea, taro, papaya, jackfruit, and etc... But I guess they are trying to tailor to a different market here, which is fine, cuz you gotta make money. The toppings are plentiful althought they did not have mochi 2 of the times I went. This place gets extremely crowded starting at like 8pm until closing where you would see a huge line almost coming to the end of the block regardless of the weather or day. So this is definitely the "place to be" (especially since there's nothing else to do around here). I would go to this place again only during the day time when there's no crowd, but to those who love being with crowds, then come at night. read more

So excited that Yogurtland finally made it to Jersey! Absolutely love their froyo! Unlike Pinkberry, the taste of many Yogurtland flavors are not all tart. They do offer tart flavor varieties however many are also sweet. I love that the Jersey location even offered Taro flavor, which is a very Asian flavor found in California and Hawaii locations which I figured they wouldn't have here. What I love about Yogurtland is that you dispense your own yogurt from your choice of 8 different soft serve machines. This way you are able to control how much of each flavor you want and exactly how you want it in your cup. Since this is a very new location and new to Jersey, they had a gal explaining their 'serve yourself' concept and she was passing out little sample cups so you could try whatever flavor you wanted. You also spoon your own toppings and they have loads of them from fresh cut fruits (mango, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, etc) to candy toppings and even cereals (Frutti Pebbles and Capt'n Crunch). They also have jimmies and Ghiradelli chocolate toppings as well as sweetened condensed milk! Your froyo concoction is weighted and you are charged by the ounce (they say that they deduct the weight of the cup). They charge 39 cents an ounce. This is a small Yogurtland with only four small 2-person tables but there are also benches outside. The self serve is great but dangerous cause there are only 2 size containers and I'm rarely one to exercise self restraint so I went for the smaller of the two containers but still managed to fill it to the brim. The toasted coconut by far is my absolute favorite. I opted for just the yogurt, no toppings it was so good it didn't need any. And the young lady working (I think her name's Saysha) needs to be promoted. Excellent customer service and she was clearly a high school student at her after school job but I was highly impressed with her courteous, professional behavior. I am definitely a fan. They always have new flavors to try and they have a good variety of toppings. My usual favorite is the cheesecake flavor, but I decided to try their white chocolate raspberry flavor and it was delicious!! I was surprised to see they had mango as a topping, and also delighted. I love all of the fruit toppings, bobas, and mochi. They also have a lot of sweet chocolate and candy toppings if you want to indulge. The place is always clean, and the staff are attentive and nice. Don't let the fact that this place is run moslty by teenagers/young college kids fool you...yogurtland employees are seriously on their game. Everytime I go there I'm warmly greeted and offered free samples of any flavor I want to try. This is important to me because theres nothing worse than filling your cup with a bad froyo flavor and realizing its yucky AFTER you've paid. Also I like how the employees really make the effort to make small talk and just connect with the customers overall. Their pleasant attitudes really compliment the atmosphere...which by the way makes me want to giggle and skip somewhere in the distance. O yea, and the froyo is great too. They always seem to have the same basic flavors, but switch up others pretty frequently. The place itself is pretty spacious for the serve yourself set up they have but only 4 tables with a smattering of seats. I usually wind up getting the froyo and hoofing it out of there, to eat just outside (they have 2 benches just outside). My son loves the coconut flavor and my daughter any thing that has chocolate. So happy to see this location open up. They request all customers to sanitize and out on gloves before serving themselves, however they don't enforce it. Great flavors, awesome service and you cannot beat the ability to sample as many flavors as possible!!! The taro tasted buttery, the tart original and fruit tart were among my favorites. Hubs liked the blueberry cheesecake and the kids liked peanut butter, pistachio and red velvet. Was a better price than we remember paying at the last Yogurtland we'd been to in California.
