This Chili's is the go to spot when my coworkers and I want lunch. The restaurant is clean, the seating areas are clean. You can sit at the bar, booth or high tops. There are flat screen TV's mounted throughout the restaurant on the walls, if you want to watch something other than what is on, you can ask the staff to turn the channel. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Double Old Timer burger (well done) with Cheddar Cheese, mayo and pickle slices. My side was french fries and my drink, lemonade. The burger is consistently prepared here, and it's good. The crowd was the normal lunch time crowd. We were seated, orders placed and food was at our high top within 10 minutes. You can pay the waiter/waitress or use the kiosk at each table. No complaints, good food, good drinks (alcohol/ non alcohol). read more

My family and I have supported this restaurant for years. We visit at least twice a month. The menu offers something for everyone and prices are responsible. After tonight's experience, we will no longer be supporting this business. A group of high school students, including my child, went to this establishment after a school event to celebrate together. They waited more than 45 minutes for a table large enough to accommodate their party. While they were waiting to be seated, another group of kids from their school, walked in. One of the kids in the second group happens to work at this establishment. He convinced his coworkers to seat him and his friends first taking the largest table. When the first group of students respectfully asked why others were seated ahead of them, the staff responded with rude and dismissive behavior while shaking their heads and laughing. They thought the situation was amusing and required no explanation. The first group of students stayed calm and asked to speak with a manager. The manager's attitude was no better she acted indifferent and condescending. Instead of apologizing to the first group of students or speaking to her staff about seating their coworker and his friends before people who were waiting for 45 minutes, she told the first group of students she could seat them but they would need to separate into to two tables. The whole reason they waited as long as they did was so they could all sit together. Do better Chili's, your employees do not deserve priority seating over others that have been waiting for 45 minutes. We've frequented your establishment since you opened, we've spent thousands and thousands of dollars at your establishment and your employees, and your manager are willing to overlook all of that so a kid who has work there for two months and will likely quit or be fired within the next month can look cool. You've lost decade long customers, deleting your app the same way you should fire the imbeciles bringing down your establishment. read more

She also provided excellent customer seGerrymandering, The restaurant is nice and clean and also the first to serve paper straws I cose the 3 for me deal: drink (pink lemonade), soup, and entree. This soup was a lot more creamy than the other two restaurants I reviewed in the past. Didn't finish it. it was too cheesy for my taste. Overall, I think the soup was good. I went with my family and tried to see how long the wait was. I was told I would receive a text message and it would take under 20 mins. I received the text as I was getting my children out of the car. Dragged everyone in within 2 mins of text. I saw another group being escorted to seats. I said I just got a text, they knew my name and everything. But was presented with a girl hostess saying it's wrong, another hostess came up to her and said whoops as if they had messed up the seating. She then said I have to wait 15 mins more. I asked why she thought that was fair now that I lugged my kids in and gave me a snobby reply like the system messed up by sending me a text that the table was ready. I replied to her saying its a lie as I just saw her seating someone else that was after me. All the hostess just looked at me as if I was wrong for even asking why it wasnt fair. Rather than waste my time telling her why she is wrong and waiting in front her for her mistake, I decided to leave after this-as the hostesses looked at me. I loved the cheddar-jalapeño sausage in it. My bf enjoyed his Cajun chicken pasta. We had some drinks. The taste of them wasn't very pleasant but they got the job done as far as getting us tipsy lol. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. While every remaining Chili's seems to be mired in a three star holding pattern since their 1980's heyday, their outpost in Hamilton radically defied my expectations and delivered excellent service and an incredibly solid meal. Currently, they seem to be more of a wings and burger house with their legacy Mexican fare shunted to the outskirts of the menu. Too bad, since I enjoyed a wonderfully dense and rich chicken tortilla soup and beef enchiladas that hit all the right notes. Unfortunately, the inflation bear dictates that you now pay $5 for a bowl of chips and salsa on a menu chock full of upward price revisions... but that's everywhere. I've definitely had my share of Chili's over the years, but it'd been a while and I'd never been to this location before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. We got our food delivered, which may have affected the quality to some degree, but I wasn't super impressed. Sure, my Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers (quite the mouthful!) were decent, but that sauce would make almost anything taste decent :) The broccoli was pretty flavorless (not a lot of seasoning!) and the fries weren't great either, although they were probably more impacted by the delivery time than anything. I remember my wife having a lukewarm reaction to her food as well. Overall, given that there are plenty of options in this area, not sure when we'll be back to Chili's. read more

This Chili's is one of the best of the best Chili's. Why? Very clean inside and out. I felt like I entered a resort location. Also, our order came out perfect with zero errors, hot and wonderful. But I would say I was super impressed by their team. Every single employee encountered there was the friendliest I have ever seen. Whomever trained and manages this team knows hospitality. I may had met her there that night, at least one of the managers. My guess is that it is a culture shared by all the managers there to have this type of team. Our server, Jasmine, was super! So nice, a great smile. She looks like she wants to be there and likes her job. We've been here many times and always enjoyed it until recently. The food is ok...standard chain. They really need to hire more staff. When we were there last week, servers kept passing us after we sat down, looking off in the distance, no eye contact to catch them. No utensils, no "I'll be there in a minute"....nothing. after about 10 minutes I finally caught someone's eye and they went to find our server. She looked so stressed and tired. Very apologetic....been here all day, I've got three kids, etc. We commiserate and said it was fine....we ordered everything at once to save her trips. And, it came all at once, the salad and entree. However, I had to ask about my margaritas (which I usually like to have before my food). WORST margarita I've ever tasted. I always get the "presidente" and they've been great. It's been several years since visiting a Chili's, but I always enjoyed their take on burgers, ribs and light Mexican fare. I stopped into this shop after a Home Depot adventure last week as they are in close proximity. The barstool looked inviting, so I accepted the offer along with a menu from the solicitous barkeep. She mentioned that this day was Throwback Thursday, and there were a few burgers on that list for $6.95 with fries, onion rings, broccoli or mashed. The Old Timer suited my mood. Cheese, onion and mushroom topped the medium beef puck. Went with the O rings. Brioche- style roll with something painted on that may have been butter or grease that made it shine. Kicking that aside, I went at the rest of the pile with table tools due to it being too wide and messy for manual pickup without serious drippage. Yeah. I liked the burger; done to the requested finish, and nicely juicy. Onion rings were solid, too. Not oily and with a crisp bite. Overall, a very reasonable option in the fast casual luncheon wars. read more

We come here on occasion after shopping in Hamilton Market Place. You are not going to find anything healthful on the menu. The one thing I really liked years ago was their take on chickenfingers. I don't like chickenfingers, but I loved theirs. It was made with a kinda tempura batter. It was an appetizer, then they changed it over to a dinner, which killed it for me. I think it was the grease and the crunch I liked - yes, sometimes, I like a little grease with my food. The good - their Mexican style chicken soup. Very well seasoned, very tasty in a good sized bowl. Lots of cilantro which I love. We were in just in time for the lunch specials (ends at 4:00), so we were able to get the soup (or salad) and the double cheeseburger with fries. The fries were okay, nothing special, but the burger had two generous sized thick patties, with lettuce and tomatoes and pickles on the side. Just your typical all American cheeseburger. It was juicy and very good. All for $8 bucks. The fact there are several drink and food specials several times a day. A current special are twofer items. I got two ribs for $2.68 as an appetizer because I was hunkering for some ribs after watching Dolph Lundgren ("Rocky" fame) chow down on some in an awful grade B, but fun, horror film, called "Don't Kill It". (He takes his shirt off at least once. Still in great shape. So worth the watch.) Yeah, you can get some twofer items, like sliders and ribs. The bad - really no healthful choices, except maybe a salad (and some salads in a lot of places aren't healthful anyway). The salsa and chips are awful. The sauce tastes like tomato ketchup and the chips have zero flavor. This is a chain restaurant so you get what you expect. I rate on the basis of what one should expect from a particular kind of restaurant. So a hole in the wall with excellent pizza might get the same rating as an upscale restaurant with good food. We always sit at the bar, but this isn't where I'd go for drinks, which are over sweet to make up for the lack of actual alcohol content. I did have a decent 9oz glass of wine. The most expensive thing I ate. Some people are complaining about service - our waiters have always been friendly and great. My wife and I are huge Chili's fans. We constantly take our kids to the location by our house. This particular chilis is well maintained and the staff is all very friendly. The food is generally on point too. But the last time I ordered take-out the fries were warm, and my burger was under done. And the last time we dined in they got my wife's order backwards. I haven't been here in a long time. So decided to grab a bite, but I should've read the recent reviews. I asked for the 4 mouth bites and this is what I got...a piece of meat (which I had to cut apart) on four mini buns (which I had to cut apart) and then I saw what was under the bun. Unbelievable, how can you burn a bun?? The cheese wasn't even place on the meat properly and it was plain. The presentation speaks for it self (see photo I posted on here). The waitress was M.I.A, she got our order, dropped off our app and then dropped off the entree. Really on a Thursday night at 9pm, you can't stop by the table and refilling our drinks until we sat there on empty for 15 minutes. Then when you drop off the entree, please return to follow up on your customer's needs. Wasn't until another waitress stopped by that ask how things were, I asked to speak with the Mgr. The Mgr apologized and ask to remake the food, but I declined (I wouldn't risk getting sick from this place). Mgr offered to pick up the tab, but I told her I'll pay for the items I ate/drank. I will be calling Chilis Corp Office, not sure if the Mgr or upper level Corp folks are aware of the sub-standard performance and product this location is serving to their customers. I ordered one of those that you pick 3 items for $10-12 dollars! It's such a GREAT DEAL! The price is not expensive, and you get a HUGE portion! I never finish my plates here! It's a very nice place to grab a small bite and a few drinks during happy hour with a few friends! But for dinner, it's rather unhealthy and heavy because most of the food are like fast food, greasy, and not too nutritious! I used to go to Chili's more as a teenager with my friends and occasionally, I go for their martinis! They have some very strong, delicious, and lovely garnished cocktails! Love it! Some mistakes was made with orders. And they had to take it back to fix it . And some time they didn't fix it right. Like forgetting the chicken in the trio fahita so what they did they added the chicken but of course it was not grilled like the rest of the plate . The servers didn't knew where the plates were even the person who took the order first was free doing nothing untill he noticed there was a mess then she interfered and things become better for some time until we found that the orders it self was messed up from the kitchen as well . The stuff was trying to help after there were able to swallow the surprise of the end of day . The person who collect the dishes I think he was one washing dishes in the back . He came with the plastic gloves and this I didn't see in any other Branch!! It was ok experience for some and others was bad . But not good for any . Except for the kids of course. While I'm not really big on fast casual, my wife and I had a blast here. We started with a couple of beverages---- Premium Long Island Iced Tea for me and some kind of Sunrise Margarita for the Mrs. Two each of those made us both quite happy. The wait for a table was 40 minutes so we happened to find 2 seats at the bar. The bartender and those around us were very friendly. My wife ordered a quesadilla salad with chicken. Since she's vegetarian, I took the chicken which was pretty good. It looked really filling. I had the mango chili tilapia which was excellent and only 520 calories. Broccoli was very fresh. The bartender warned me that it would be too spicy. Unfortunately he doesn't know me. The hotter, the better. It never ceases to amaze me how these lame, mediocre eateries continue to stay in business and attract customers. I had the unfortunate experience of dining there recently (certainly not by my choice), and quite honestly I'd rather spent the evening watching reruns and washing dishes. The restaurant is noisy and cramped, and booths are much too small. I was in a party of four, one being a child and the three adults on the petite side. And we still felt jammed into a booth that was clearly made to comfortably accommodate only two average size adults. It took me more than a few minutes to even find something healthy on the menu- I settled on the salmon with rice that came with a side of broccoli. The side salad was unbelievably plain, topped with stale croutons and limp vegetables. I can make a far superior salad in ten minutes, and thought more than once that I'd rather be eating at home. The main course wasn't much better. Even though I asked that a substitution be made for the broccoli, they forgot and had to remedy the problem. The server comes out with the correct side dish, but then she proceeded to take my dirty fork and started scraping the broccoli off my plate. I had to ask her to stop- she certainly wasn't doing me any favors and just making a mess of things. The salmon was bland and over cooked, the accompanying rice tasted burnt and nearly flavorless. The only part I even remotely enjoyed was the street corn that I asked for instead of the broccoli. Overall, an extremely lackluster mea. Again, I wish I'd stayed home. I would have been happier with boxed Mac and cheese. The service wasn't much better. The servers seemed inexperienced and distracted. They kept screwing up the order and making mistakes. One of the people in my party had to remind the waitress three times to bring out one of the ordered sides. Between the noise, the cramped seating, and the mediocre food, I would rate this place as unacceptable. I certainly would never go here of my own volition, but was forced by circumstances.
