All the times we went to this Outback they were overall good. The food was almost always good and the ambiance is like other steakhouses. Noisy and crowded especially around dinner time. But at least they have a good amount of TVs around the entire restaurant so you can watch multiple games or news at the same time. The only criticism I had was the last time I went, the service was a bit off. The service was a bit slow and didn't bring our drinks out on time or sounded a bit grumpy and not in a good mood. Not putting all the blame on the restaurant as I have experienced working in food service in the past, and I know it's not the most rewarding career ever. But it could be better. Overall, it still is a decent place to go to and its nice to get a blooming onion and enjoy the complimentary bread they give you as well. read more

Admittedly, I haven't been to an Outback since the late Paul Hogan's Crocodile Dundee ruled the box office and regrettably, I should have waited longer. Most eateries would be ecstatic if you mentioned "Michelin" and their place in the same sentence. Regrettably, less so when the "steak" in question has all the tenderness of a radial tire. Hey, I'm not reflexively down on chains being the first to admit I'm a fan of meatballs at Olive Garden and the steak at Texas Roadhouse but Outback has gone from Down Under to Six Feet Under in less time than it takes to throw another shrimp on the barbie. My daughter and I visited for her birthday and we were very excited to order our favorite foods. We missed this restaurant so much, as everytime we arrived, we are seated right away, music playing and very clean. For starters, had to eat the awesome cup of Baked Potato Soup. This soup never fails, always arrive hot and tasty. Then we ordered the Kookaburra Wings. Delicious, but we saved some to bring home after all, have to keep room for the main dish. I ordered the NY Strip and my daughter ordered the Bone-In Ribeye (come on.....it's her bithday). Never fails, we had food to bring home, but trust me it will not go to waste. Kids wanted a midnight snack of ribs - thankfully Outback is open until 10pm. Love that there are so many veg side options - kids were happy to get asparagus in addition to fries. We were shopping close by and decided to pop in & have dinner in the bar. We were seated at a booth. The bar area was clean and so were the bathrooms. Our server was Deanna, who was super efficient/knowledgeable & friendly. I had the 6 oz Victorias filet mignon which was cooked perfectly. It was also a great cut of meat. The baked potato and broccoli sides were also very good. For a cocktail I had the boozy cherry limeade which was fruity & delicious but thankfully not way too sweet. After going through all that The Table next to us, their waiter spilled all their drinks on the floor. After a packed day of Wild Safari and Hurricane Harbor, my party of 5 arrived for dinner a few minutes before our reserved time and we were quickly taken to our seats. I started to have a feeling of dread as the restaurant itself wasn't busy and we were taken to an area that had no one else (the other side of the restaurant was about 66% full). After a wait of well over 10+ minutes, I started getting worried as not one employee stopped by to see if we needed anything or if we had even seen our waiter (we hadn't). Collectively, we decided to get up and leave and head over to another restaurant. I let the greeter know that we were leaving and there wasn't even an apology offered! We headed over to the Texas Roadhouse in the same town that was way more packed but where the employees seemed to be more attentive. As we have a season pass to Six Flags this year, I guess we know who we'll be giving our business to this summer! read more

I went here with a group of about 12 people and the experience was subpar. Our server was nice, but excessively slow. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not that busy. By the time the checks were paid and brought back, the Togo food we had ordered at the end for someone was cold. Also, my mother and I both ordered prime rib medium rare and it was so chewy that it was pretty much inedible. I took my leftovers home and even my father, the man who eats literally anything, couldn't even eat it and we had to throw it out. For the price we paid for that meal, I am very disappointed. I tried to give Outback a chance after many years of not being a fan, and they still disappointed. Being located close to other competitors like Longhorn and Texas Roadhouse, Outback needs to up their game big time. I won't be back here for a very long time. read more

Food was OK. Service was fantastic. Ordered the small ribeye. It was pretty thin and was not very tender. There was a lot of connective tissue, however it was cooked to my medium rare preference and tasted good. It seemed a lot thinner than the image in the menu (maybe that's the larger steak). I can't blame the restaurant too much on the meat being difficult to cut and chew, I'll blame the cow . . . but it's an awful lot of money ($26.49) for a bunch of inedible meat. It was a business dinner so I swallowed a lot of partly chewed beef instead of spitting it out. The guy across from me ordered the same steak and had the same problem, but he didn't even try to chew most of it and just left it on the plate. I hadn't had breakfast or lunch and this was a late dinner so I kind of had to work with what I got. I ordered the mashed potatoes and the fresh veggies (which included zucchini and squash). Both sides were fine. I drank only water so I can't vouch for the adult beverages or anything else. We sat in the bar so we could watch the game (which was unfortunately rained out). Ate at the bar and the service was good. Had a NY Strip with salad, blooming petals, and chili. Chili was okay flavor and I liked that it didn't have beans . I purchase their deal from Groupon so I have to come in. Normally I don't go to outback steakhouse but I do look forward to their house bread. It's delicious!! I got the onion rings, of course, and the chicken wings tossed in spices as appetizers. Both were pretty good. I do like more saucier wings but this is a good change. For entree, I got the sirloins with shrimp with a side of sweet potatoes so I don't feel guilty eating it. The steak was huge, very juicy. Also got the bloomin fried chicken with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Yum yum. The food was delicious. The server was very nice and the food came out at a good time. The food was the quality of tastes good but feels bad. I generally eat much fresher, and healthier than this. I feel like even the "diet" options (since calories are on the menu) aren't even that smart of a choice. That bloomin onion was super delicious though even though I was seeping grease from my face afterward. They've reopened indoor dining! They are still enforcing social distanced seating and also wearing a face mask when you're doing anything else but eating. It's been awhile since I've had a nice steak, not because I have been getting bad steaks but because I'm unable to go to steakhouses as often as I used to. The small drawback of dating a vegetarian I guess. I got the 12 ounce ribeye, side of mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables because I believe in balance. My dad had made a reservation for me and my family just to relax for the weekend and the waitress we had (this elderly white woman with grey hair and a neck tattoo) was barking at us like we were some kind of wild dogs (for reference, we are Afghan, this lady was white). I understand that the restaurant was super crowded at this time but this lady was constantly rushing us to get our orders, even after the crowd had left. Additionally, our drinks were not made properly and our food was undercooked and bland as hell. This white older lady with the neck tattoo needs to be either trained better or needs to let go-she was very dismissive of our concerns, very rude, very impatient, and not apologetic at all. A blooming onion that looked like it was soaked in oil overnight, cold chili in a hot bowl, overcooked steaks. Never again.

I'm always disappointed with Outback. It's like they purposely like to screw up my order. My friend's rare bone in ribeye was perfect, but then everyone else's order was messed up. They forgot two salads and sent them to another table. My friends regular ribeye was supposed to be rare and it was well done so it was sent back and we waited 15 minutes to fix it. Still no salad. My lamb was beyond rare (see pic) just plain gross and raw. Lamb was supposed to be medium rare not still alive and bleeding. Came in here for dinner on a whim after running some errands nearby. There was quite a lot of people waiting in the front, despite a lot of empty tables. Was told a 30 min wait and that the empty tables where due to not having enough servers. We were seated soon enough but it was 20 mins at the table before anyone said anything to us. The hostess brought was water and bread at that point. Our server came soon after. We ordered a blooming onion and the sirloin and lobster special for $15.99. There was a bit of a wait again for the food, but I am willing to say this was the best outback I've been to. I've been to quite a few located all over the country. The onion was great, the lobster was cooked perfectly albeit a bit tiny. The steaks were all cooked perfectly to the requested temperature. The service was great despite being slow. read more

Okay - bad place period. Went there several times - last 3 times really bad. Last time, waiter knocked over bottle on table - water all over me and my shoes. Water remained on me and the floor (slip hazard) for long period of time without intervention from staff. Food cold, over done and not very tasty at all. Too many people delivering food to tiny table which is how bottle was knocked over. Manager was useless as solution resource as she continuously asked me about dry cleaning (shoes?) and made very little attempt to compensate for the poor experience. I was there the weekend before Halloween and was waited on by an older woman with blonde hair. We were in a rush to get to a haunted house and I accidentally left my card in the bill fold. Later that night when I checked for my card I realized it was missing and logged into to my online banking to see that my card was used a second time at the restaurant for a larger amount. I locked my card and disputed the charges the next day. I also called and spoke with a female manager who said they could not locate my card and seemed to believe that it wasn't possible that someone on staff could have fraudulently charged my card.
