I thought I'd give this another try but unfortunately the ice cream was very watery I don't know why I've not seen it like this for a while. They are some that are ice cream but the 2 others which was the coconut ice cream was watery. In the meantime I decided to try a few of the flavors cookies and cream was my favorite and this was ice cream of course and otherwise I would have said something because that was my favorite. I also noticed that they're more cleaner than they were the last time I came in the nice comfortable chairs and booths was a nice flare. The taste was not too sugary and Tasted very much like ice cream more so yogurt of course I would recommend yogurt versus ice cream because of the sugar content. It's absolutely healthier than many other ice cream shops. The bathroom not so clean had stuff on the floor paper towels toilet paper it's a good thing I didn't step on toilet paper or otherwise it would look ridiculous on my shoe. I would recommend this place but for now I'm just going to leave it neutral for all of you too review and decide for yourself. So this is a reason I give as far as a 3 star. read more

Overpriced bad yogurt with no samples, this place sucks! If you are going to way overcharge then bring back the samples , otherwise see ya

‼‼Employee was shockingly rude some highschool kid with short brown hair. It's also severely overpriced, Amy's ice cream which is notoriously expensive I would say is cheaper. One more thing when I went to get the frozen yogurt I would say it was 1/3 frozen 2/3s just completely melted. Asked the employee if I can get a new one since mine was mostly melted when it came out and he says you get what you pay for. I got 1/4 full of the small bowl and it was 9 dollars. you could go to Trader Joe's and get an entire gallon of premium ice cream for 4.99. DONT COME HERE‼‼‼‼‼‼‼ read more

Tastes like chemicals. No flavor. Price is ridiculous. Yuk Nothing else to say. Owners don't watch over toppings to see they are clean.

This place is always great. The family who owns/runs it is always lovely. They keep it immaculate and rotate the flavors and toppings frequently. My kids prefer it to any ice cream shop in the area. And there's always a table available. read more

So overpriced and it's annoying other places charge by cup size here they charge you by weight

Very nice and clean yogurt place. As of today September of 2021 yogurt is .59cents an ounce and smoothies are $4.60. They also sell bottled water, Gatorade, Snapple tea, sparkling water. Yogurt flavors include original tart, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate, pistachio, earl grey, strawberry, vanilla and more. Toppings include chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, marshmallow, animal cookies, chocolate chips, different fruits and nuts. This is a nice place with great service. I will return. read more

Way over priced and still isn't allowing samples. Consistently clean with good toppings, but the lack of sampling for the price is a no go for me. read more

This place is awesome and they always play the nicest music. Ive been eating their yogurt for over 3 years. ‼I've seen some reviews and none of you know why they don't do samples, why teenagers work there, and the "cause" of overpricing. Samples were ended because of Covid and also messes that people make. Heard that from a staff member who was super nice. Teenagers work there because it's near a Highschool and you are in a populated area, welcome to the real world. Lastly, YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU EAT! The more you get the more you pay. 5 stars read more

My man and I frequent here often. We enjoy the self serve option, and the yogurt is good. Why we give it only 4 stars is due to the fact that 25% of the time the whipped cream is empty. Every time the person working will just apologize and take it away. In a regular world that would be refilled. Secondly why is there a tip jar and a tip screen during payment when all the workers do is take our money and can't refill the whipped cream? What adult is training these kids that they will be tipped for that? read more

Horrible yogurt. Asked for my money backend the kid gave it to me. At least worker was nice. Can't say as much for the yogurt. Would not return read more

Listen up. This froyo is no joke! I had pumpkin, chocolate and tart, sooooo delicious! The original tart is not too tart, pumpkin was some of the best I've had and chocolate was in point! Love how you can pick your toppings and the variety of toppings was simply fantastic, loads to choose from including plenty of fresh fruit, even dark chocolate shavings. I was in town for work and am pretty bummed there is not one of these places near me. Love it and am still talking about it several days later! read more

Yogurt is good quality, lots of topping choices, reasonable price, and NOT rude. It's a small, self-serve frozen yogurt place. You either know how to make your own froyo or you don't. I don't have the expectation for the people running it to kiss my feet when I walk in. Will return for more froyo many times! read more

This is a great yogurt place and I've been going here for years! I don't post reviews often, but this local place has been around for the longest time out of the other yogurt shops around and for good reason! Friendly and fast staff, they really do a great job at keeping the place clean and the yogurt and various toppings are fabulous! Definitely give this place a try! They are creative with their toppings and expose people to new things they haven't tried before. read more

Yogurt Planet - a man sitting at a table with a dog - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Austin, Texas

Boo! These people need to understand the basics in disability law. Girlfriend of mine and I both have certified service dogs clearly marked, IDed, and vested. Her being in a wheelchair should have been obvious enough, although not all disabilities are visually apparent. Owner/employee asked us to put our dogs outside and leave. Um, excuse me? So illegal, it's not even funny. Left me feeling really crummy, especially when my dog is cleaner and more well behaved than all the screaming kids in that romper room. No yogurt is worth that embarrassment. If you own a business, LEARN THE LAW. read more

Yogurt Planet - Just one of 3 cards. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Austin, Texas

What I really like about this yogurt shop is that they have a low sugar Blueberry which happens to be one of my favorite flavors. What I don't like is that they don't have my very favorite Green Tea flavor. Sure, the other flavors are fat free but when you add 20 grams of sugar it's not healthy so yay thanks for an option with only 5 grams of sugar. For the uninitiated in the new fro-yo trend of serving oneself. You grab a bowl decide what flavor or flavors you want top with as many toppings as you like then have it weighed and pay. They charge .39 per ounce and it can add up fast if you fill the large bowl. If you happen to have a dog with you or if you just want to eat outside there is 2 tables and if those are filled they are lots of tables just down the block across from Town Hall. I am so craving a blueberry topped with fresh strawberries, kiwi and walnuts now:) Good thing I discovered this location that is closer than the Triangle location! read more

Yogurt Planet - the front of the store - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Austin, Texas

We've been going to Yogurt Planet for several months. Today, our daughter had a hair in her yogurt (not too surprised, as everything is open in the self serve area) When we showed it to the staff, they called the manager Trina and couldn't believe it - but she refused to refund our yogurt. Furthermore, she said that if she refunded for every hair in their yogurt they would go out of business. I'm truly amazed at her attitude and sort of hinting that I placed the hair in the yogurt to get something for free. Truly amazing! Never going there again! Beware!! read more

We live close to Galleria and take the kids here sometimes. It's always been fine, but they now have white chocolate mouse flavor that our family loves. We used to drive all the way to Tcby for this. We love it! read more

While we like the yogurt and frequent often it seems the whipped cream machine is always out whenever we go. Its even more frustrating that the employees watch us try and use it and it's empty but they don't try to refill it. You should probably remove it for good so customers don't get frustrated. read more

What a difference a day makes. I was being politely chastened for my review about the Yogurt Planet at The Domain - "You sounded like a moron" - to which I politely responded, "Then write your own frigging review." We settled this at the Galleria Yogurt Planet, where she pretty much proved her point. First of all, having froyo when it's 42-degrees outside does not really excite me, and secondly, is wearing Uggs comfortable? Why do they remind me of Star Wars? Fashion tidbits aside, this location looked exactly like the Domain store, with one exception - the counter didn't have as many topping-bin inserts built into it, so the berries looked like colorful patriotic smurfs sitting on top of the counter. But damn this place has great froyo. There were five different flavors I didn't see at the North store, like apple pie and red velvet, but I'm pretty sure it's a regular rotation. They also had the "mango balls" and "strawberry balls" (think bubble-tea goo) that were missing at the Domain location (I know canned peaches when I see them, regardless of the label). I also give this store props for having an insulated sleeve around the whipped cream, and for playing music in the background, which can make all the difference on the fun-ambiance meter. But what turned the corner for me was the kid working this place - Ladies and Gentlemen, it's the hardest working dude in show business. I enjoy watching a one-man dynamo, filling and straightening and Windexing and handing-out sample cups - you rock, fella. None of us there understood a word he was saying when he was also cashiering, we were just amazed at his work ethic and kept filling his tip jar. They should really make an effort to keep this guy. The bottom line is no place has topped the avocado froyo at Yumilicious (you haven't tried it yet?), but if you must journey off to some Planet in your Uggsmobile, I'll concede Yogurt Planet is not a bad choice. read more

Took my daughter and her bro with time to blow and the yo was fro The cashier still didn't care and treated us like we weren't even there She yapped away on the telephone while heathens ran amok on their own Flavors were few toppings were a mess We won't be back I must confess read more

I can only get so creative after writing all these reviews about frozen yogurt shops since they are almost all the same. Let's just dive into the pros and cons of Yogurt Planet... Pros, Spacious establishment with lots of seating. 2. Great flavors and quality texture frozen yogurt. 3. Free samples and self serve toppings. Now for the Cons. 1. Not clean! This was due to the plethora amount of families that swarmed in by the masses with little children grabbing full size cups, serving themselves and eating right out of the bowl with their fingers instead of using the sample taste mini ketchup cups. As the child finished that sampling, they would move on to the next flavor and pull the lever with their sticky little slobbery hands! Disgusting!!! The floor around the frozen yogurt machine was sticky as the final drippings would fall on to it instead of making it in the child's cup. Parent's control your children! 2. And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, another parent pulled a chair up to the counter for their 3 year old to serve his own toppings of gummy bears and candy into their cup of yogurt. Spoonful after spoonful after spoonful! The kid was holding up the whole line causing other's frozen yogurt to melt just because his Dad thought it was a good time to learn independent skills at that moment! Not appropriate dude when you have other children running around who have zero patience as well. Seriously, did the Dad not notice the long line building behind his son and the $8 bowl of crap he was going to have to pay for due to the lack of indiscretion of candy toppings his son was piling on? Parents, buy some candy and berry toppings and have your child practice making sundae's at home not in a public setting at the age of 3 or 4! It's ashamed that I think the frozen yogurt is quite delicious and decent quality here but I'll never come back here because of the lack of cleanliness or chaos factor! read more

I adore Yogurt Planet. But not this one. There's one particular employee there that hates his job and therefore hates you too. The plus side is that the yogurt is seriously legit. The place is super clean and the toppings are always fresh and fully stocked. I'm glad that my interaction with this certain individual is only for a minute or two otherwise i'd avoid it at all costs. There's an Amy's right down the street and the employees there are friendly and seem to not mind having customers in their store. read more

This is my kids favorite yogurt spot in bee cave! Quick and easy and kids are able to explore the flavors and toppings! Affordable and good equality! read more

We come here a few times a week with our kids and grab yogurt. Parking is easy and their flavors are really good. They rotate out a few, but there are some staples (like cookies and cream and birthday cake, my favs) that stick around. The topping bar is really good - it's got the normal stuff (sprinkles, chocolate sauce, reeses, etc etc) but it has a LARGE amount of fruit and fresh toppings. Once you're done you can go to the green space across the street and let your kids run around and be crazy. read more

Delicious! The gentleman that helped us was very friendly and although we got there right before closing he treated us as if he just opened up and we weren't a burden! read more

I like the concept: a self-serve yogurt bar and you pay by the weight. I tried out the non-fat mango and pinnaple swirl. (You can choose individual flavors or mixed combos). I added probably a 1:1 ratio of yogurt to fruit by piling on top of my yogurt blueberries, strawberries, boysenberries, mango, kiwi and lychee. It was a delightful refreshment on a hot summer day. read more

LOVE this place! Many flavor combo's to choose from and the best part is that you can get as little or as much as you want. It is sold by weight. I haven't had a flavor yet that I haven't loved. My favorite is cake batter with fresh strawberries! Yum! Low fat too! read more

Honestly, I haven't been to a better Yogurt joint. You walk in grab your cub eject your yogurt put on whatever toppings you choose then pay and it's delicious end of story What is not to like about that?! There aren't really that many elements to it. Mo, you're a whiny baby. Peace. read more

Great selection of yogurt flavors, fresh toppings and efficient service.

I like this place, but it's not much different than the myriad of other frozen yogurt shops popping up everywhere. They have new flavors each week, and a few have been very good (angel food cake flavor). I usually just get the tart flavor. I like the interactive atmosphere. read more

For lo-cal, lo-fat, there isn't a better dessert option in Austin. Very kid friendly and great variety in toppings. The staff do a great job of keeping everything clean and well stocked. Employees are great!! If they have the taro flavor, you should try it. Overall, great customer experience.

Extremely rude workers. We came in a few days ago, a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids, and we were the only customers. It was a slow time so we shouldn't have had any issues but we try to be flexible and understanding because they have things to do too. One staff member was outside cleaning, understandable. Another was inside in the back. No problem. I walked up to the counter and waited a moment to get someone's attention, and the person outside saw me waiting (that's okay, she probably thought the other person would be right up to help) and a minute or two later the person from the back comes up to help. I asked "do you have sample cups?" And he begrudgingly said yes and handed me 1. ONE sample cup. Not one that can be reused either. I understand limiting them so people don't sit there all day sampling free product. But at least give us one per person. Seriously? It seems as though the staff were family and the establishment is a family run one. After handing me a sample cup he walked outside to help the other employee clean the outside tables. So we stood around for a minute and realized they have zero interest in helping us, or giving us another sample cup for another member in the family. That's when we realized that we were only going to receive poor service and we'd likely have to sit and wait for one of them to come inside. So we just walked out and went to get gelato across the street. There are plenty of frozen yogurt places around, we will certainly not be supporting this one. read more
