My niece was in town for the weekend and wanted to go for a treat, so what better place to take a child for something sweet other than yogurt mountain. This was our first time being at this location and it did not disappoint. The building was spacious with plenty of seats. They also had many more ice cream flavors than the location we normally frequent. Our experience was pleasant and I happily put a smile on my niece's face which made me happy!

Pretty good place to stop and grab dessert after dinner. Each time I've been here, there has been an issue with the waffle bowls (not being available) which is a bit disappointing. I really like that they have adventurous flavors. This time I tried the Sour Power Berry Blue Sorbet with sour toppings and it was super delish. I also had the chocolate/vanilla swirl with marshmallows, candy rocks, and hot fudge. Thank goodness for the bowl dividers. In the end, it was all tasty, but I made way too much and couldn't finish it all. They have sugar free flavors, too, which is nice. I totally understand that they rotate their flavors, but sometimes it's disappointing when the flavor you were wanting isn't in rotation.

Seeing a YM gives me a similar feeling as the one folks get when they see the 'Hot' light. I'm a fan! They always have great seasonal flavors and an abundance of toppings. Peanut butter and coffee flavors are my thing and they always have a something for that. My son likes to mix all the flavors together... Hot mess express, yuck! Anyhow, I love that they have the calorie count (per 3 oz.) on each flavor - if youre into that. This facility is always well maintained w/friendly enough staff. The prices are run of the mill for self-serve fro'yo.. Good stuff!

Love that they offer sorbet for me. Being lactose intolerant sucks ass. My kids absolutely love it here but I was a lone wolf this visit. It was delicious as usual but my discovery of the little fruit juice balls was the highlight of my day. 5.26.18 The new Tropical Ice Sorbet is delicious. Glad to have another fruity flavor for none dairy consumers like myself. Kiwi Strawberry is the Fruits on the picture. I also love that is like green. Of course I still got my Watermelon as that is my absolute favorite.

I love frozen yogurt, and Yogurt Mountain has a huge advantage that it's one of the only well known self serve froyo places around Birmingham. There's always too many flavors of yogurt I want to choose from. I like that they change it up and offer seasonal flavors and toppings. Unfortunately I ruined one of my last Yomo experiences by adding Andes mints. My froyo was overpowered by mint! There is a time and a place for mints. Do not add them to your froyo. I repeat, do not add them to your froyo! They sell their yogurt/toppings at $0.49 an ounce which doesn't sound pricey at all.... but just makes me realize how many ounces of yogurt I'm actually eating. Sometimes an entire POUND!

This is probably my favorite location of yogurt Mountain in Birmingham because it is perfectly close to Costco. Always love to stop by here after for a good place to chill and unwind. Original yogurt is a must try, strawberry is really good too but unfortunately seasonal only

Plenty of toppings and froyo flavors available. Get the divider if you're indecisive like me. I recommend the waffle cone cup!
    Keira L.

I normally go with original tart every time I eat frozen yogurt, but I was inspired by the little paper dividers they provide and got several flavors! They were all delicious. The star of the show was the waffle cone cup. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra .75 cents for it! I was afraid it would not be crunchy or fresh, but I was wrong. It was perfectly crunchy, slightly sweet, and the perfect addition to the soft froyo. There are plenty of seats inside and a few tables outside. Located next to a Starbucks (in case you need coffee after the sugar rush wear off ) in a busy plaza.

This is the best flavor of the season...hands down!

Price gouge extreme. Go to a local creamery. Still expensive, but better and less expensive than this.

Great service! Wasn't really a fan of any of the yogurt services until I went to this location. 10/10 will be going back.

It seemed like Mexico's version of a "China Town" or "Little Italy" in Hoover. I have not seen anything like this around here. My friend Tina and I tried Mexican sweets here, and I also had a snack of the Crazy Doritos. This place is very whimsical and cute. Perfect for kiddos and families. There is a ton of space too. They have ice creams galore here. It was hard for me to choose! I went for the prettiest one I saw and that turned out to be the Birthday Cake flavor. It was delicious! Tina had the mangonada that looked very good. I was wanting a salty snack too, so when I saw the Dori-Lokos or "Crazy Doritos" I knew I wanted to try it. The lady working there asked me twice if pork skins was okay for her to top onto them. I said sure. Little did I know what I was about to experience! They were actual pork skins that were like a cartilage or jello like texture. I assumed they would be like the crispy bagged variety you see in stores. It was an experience for sure! I liked it, but I probably would not order it again. The Crazy Doritos were also topped with a sort of nut that I liked, cucumber, and hot sauce. I just can't believe I was not in Mexico when I came here. I'm really glad we have places like this that can make some people feel like home and allow other to just have a different experience. It sure was memorable!

Actually, I have never seen it not a little busy even on Sunday afternoon so most of the locals don't blink at the high prices to get a taste of that deliciousness! We each were gifted a pint of our favorite flavor of the day by our top notch realtor, Sherri Williams ! This flavor was new to me "HEAPS OF LOVE" defined as "Anything and everything you can want! Oreos, brownies, cookie dough, pecans, caramel and chocolate ripples all packed into vanilla ice cream." How can anyone top that? It really is very very good! Hubby got their number one most popular flavor, a chocolate with dark chocolate bits & swirls. I think it was "Brownie Cascade": Classic, creamy chocolate ice cream exploding with brownie pieces, caramel cups and a sweet fudge ripple. Most creative flavor even has a trademark sign: "Exhausted Parent". It is "Bourbon-spiked espresso ice cream swirled with bittersweet chocolate chunks" That has to be my next sample! My only disappointment is that many of the flavors had "high fructose corn syrup" as a top ingredient. Not what one expects when they brag All natural ingredients! Taste is great though! This is one of the Cadillac luxury brands of American ice cream. Be prepared to wait in line and pay double the norm, but it's a must try!
