They say there is a first for everything, and this was the first time I threw out froyo long before finishing. As did others in our party. Something ain't right here. The yogurt flavors either had no taste or a weird taste. A bunch of the machines were empty. The toppings were aggressively stale and tasted like they came from a container labeled "Best by June 3, 1994." And... it was really expensive (or not calculated properly, which is possible given that it was all done manually on a calculator). Unfortunately it wasn't until after I bought and started eating it that we saw ants by the machines and mouse poop in the bathroom. For good measure it was also oppressively hot. Everything about this place leaves the impression that frozen yogurt is not its primary purpose.. and despite the stickers on the door, it doesn't seem like "notary public" is it either... Until today I thought all self-serve frozen yogurt places were basically the same, give or take some variance in available toppings and flavors. Looks are NOT deceiving, the dingy exterior certainly matches the lack of ambience inside and tastless flavors. This is probably one of the worst frozen yogurt shops that I went to. I sampled Cookies and Cream, Dark Chocolate, and Brownie flavors. It was hard to decide which one I wanted since they were all tasteless. The toppings looked very old and stale. They were unappetizing - where were the sprinkles?! The one topping that I like. I got the Dark Chocolate and Italian Tart (not sure why it was Italian), and only ate 1/2 of my yogurt and threw the rest away. It just wasn't that good. I was craving for dessert afterwards. I didn't feel too guilty about throwing away my cup as I paid only $0.52 per ounce compared to $0.59 per ounce in VA or DC. It's a yogurt shop in the boonies of Baltimore, go figure. read more

Much to my surprise in that the fro-yo here is actually pretty good. They go with the usual .49 cents per ounce pricing that you see at most chain yogurt places although I believe that Yogolaada offers either three or four different cup sizes versus some like So Fun or Yo Fresh that only offer a cup the size of a colander. Although, the one downside to Yogo is that they don't offer many flavors. I forgot to count by I think it was either eight or ten so hopefully you like what they have or else you're SOL. On Easter they were offering some sugar free stuff that I skip right over along with basic chocolate, cake batter which I assume would be better known as vanilla, salted caramel and a few others. Nothing out of the ordinary but I must say that the salted caramel I had was of a thicker consistency with a very good flavor. A few things worth noting: * Their Yelp listing has them as being closed on Sunday which clearly they're not if I'm talking about being there on Easter. * I would check to see when they are open to correct the Yelp listing but their website and Facebook page are useless as they both do not list hours either at all or for specific days of the week. * The strawberries and blackberries in particular were both very fresh tasting and were the stars of the show. When we came in the guy working there was freshly cutting up a batch of strawberries. One negative note would be that they offer what look like peanut butter chunk pieces that are listed as a particular name brand and trust me when I say that if you've ever had that name brand you would know that what Yogo is trying to pass off as this brand is not what they offer. I can't imagine being in Pikesville again but if I was I would have no problem stopping here again. read more

I went in this afternoon excited for some good froyo, but meh. The tart was alright. The main problem I have with this place is that they don't cut the fruit up into small pieces. Instead, you get giant chunks of kiwi, strawberry, ect, which doesnt exactly blend well. In fact, it doesn't blend well at all! It also makes the froyo more expensive, which is all kinds of Tom Foolery to get you out of more money. The one really cool thing is they have the non-Kosher toppins labled as such. read more

The place looks like a rundown version of popular froyo joints. I agree that the fruit pieces are in hunks. A few of the machines worked, while the others did not. There was only one tart-like flavor, no fruit flavors when I went. Cereal, this place does cereal bowls. The concept reminds me of a place I went to in Tucson, just not as well-executed as the Tucson shop. Because they do cereal bowls, the cereal options are not out and present for your froyo toppings. The location is pretty hidden. You have to be a local or visiting one of the offices located in the same building to know that it exists. read more

YogoLaada is a nice place for a quick treat. The store is not very large, and the atmosphere is a bit plain for a frozen yogurt shop, but there is a decent amount of seating available. The concept here is similar to 16 Handles and Menchie's: 1) pick up a spoon and a serving cup of your desired size; 2) add in one or more flavors of frozen yogurt; 3) head to the toppings bar and add some flair; 4) have your filled cup measured and priced by weight; 5) eat! I love going to get my NYC Cheesecake Flavor frozen yogurt... then I get like a big kid at the toppings bar, there is so many different toppings to choose from. Fresh Fruits, cookies, brownies, candies, you name it... and it is always fresh and clean. I have tried many frozen yogurts, theirs doesn't have the medicinal after taste... it just taste yummy and fresh. I love how this is family owned business and you are always made to feel welcomed when you walk in as if you are part of their family. On a hot summer night they even have outdoor seating for that sweet treat to cool you off. I really love going to this place!!! My favorite frozen yogurt store. It's true, they don't have so many flavors... BUT... The staff is so friendly, the place is cheerful looking, and they have a SMALL size cup option (4 cup size options in all I believe) which I love because if I just want to get it for a snack I don't want a huge portion and a small amount of fro-yo in a huge cup is just sad looking and not as fun to eat... Also if you're looking for lower sugar options they usually have two (or at least one) sugar-free option. They update their list of available flavors on their facebook page which is helpful. And if you're Jewish and keep cholov yisroel they always have one cholov yisroel flavor available (all the other flavors are also kosher, just not cholov yisroel). YUM YUM. read more
