If you're looking for a cheap sub, this might be your place. I've been here twice--first for an Italian hoagie, then a Salisbury steak sub. Both were just okay, nothing memorable or worth returning for. The sandwiches are very bready and overloaded with salad, which throws off the balance. Service is quick and friendly, which is a plus. The atmosphere, however, feels very dated and a bit dicey--there's a lot going on décor-wise, and it seems the owner is an avid collector of many things. With so many sandwich shops in the area, this one ranks as my least favorite. read more

Another place I thought I'd reviewed. I have been coming here for a long time, and I'm sure the first time was before I got on Yelp, so maybe I just never bothered? It's in a strip, in a very fruitful strip with Huong, so pick either one and you will not be disappointed. It's small, I don't think there's a bathroom, there's not much to it. But, the subs are amazing. They use Auddino's buns, and fresh toppings. I had a craving for a Subway seafood sub, which they stopped making five years or so ago. It was my favorite item there, and I have tried to re-create it and failed. There are a few places that serve something close, but not close enough, and grocery store seafood salads aren't quite the same, and of course, buns aren't quite the same. But these buns are pretty close, and soft. And the seafood salad here is pretty darn close, and the toppings are fresh. And all in all, it is pretty darn close to the Subway seafood sub, but better. And all the other subs are great too. I also got an Italian, which I'm sure I've gotten before, and it was perfect. Perfect bread, perfectly toasted, great fillings. Combined into a great flavor and texture experience. Service was great, prices are great. Hours are a little weird so check, they close between lunch and supper. But this is well worth a detour. read more

I have reviewed these guys before, but they have such consistently great food, reasonable prices quick service, everything you like I never dine in we always DoorDash it and once again I'm pleased with the food and the service I keep forgetting to take a picture cause it's so good. Stopped by Yogi's while out shopping. It is a small place in a shopping plaza on Morse. The atmosphere is perfect for what it is, and there is some cool memorabilia on the walls. I had a warmed hot Italian sub, which was delicious and inexpensive. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. My sub was so tasty! I know this place has been around for years, but this was my first visit and I was really happy with my sub! read more

My fave hoagies are the Franken & Back Over Dipper which is kinda like a stromboli (emphasis on kinda) that you dip into their sauce. Service is always friendly. It does have a new owner that kept the same look & feel on the inside. read more

What a wonderful time we had. We got their Italian sub and a large pepperoni and cheese pizza. We got double pepperoni on ours. If you order large, it comes as two small pizzas, just a heads up. The staff was friendly and I will for sure be back to try more. read more

I love generational family-owned businesses and saw this place has been running for 47 years so I had to try it. The atmosphere inside is very retro with decor, and there is a remarkable display case of gifts that visitors have brought since their opening. The employees were extremely nice and gave a feeling like you were at your own family's restaurant. The menu has a good variety of things, including bagels, pasta, pizza, and of course, hoagies. For being open for 47 years, I didn't have the best experience. They offer various discounts, and when I tried using one they said it was only for my item that I'm going to eat and not for the whole order. I ordered two hoagies, a side of pasta, and garlic cheese bread and they only discounted one hoagie. Another place they nickel-and-dimed me was charging extra for marinara with the garlic bread, which they forgot to include in my order. The pasta came with marinara, which tasted flavorful of fresh tomatoes, and I'm hoping that wasn't the marinara I paid for, otherwise, they sell naked pasta. I ordered a Salisbury steak and the Franken hoagie. The latter wasn't bad but the steak tasted like a flavorless slab of meat one might find in a penitentiary. The garlic cheese bread also felt like it had a bad balance of its ingredients. Maybe one day I'll give them a second chance, but I'll have to go through my order to make sure it is all there. read more

Decided I would hit up Yogi's Hoagies this evening. I met the new owner Alicia, she took over the business in April. She's been working there for around two years, so I would say it was an easy transition for her. On to the food. I ordered the Franken-Hoagie and the Garlic Bread. First the bad, the Garlic Bread was way over cooked, crunchy to the bite. It definitely took away from the flavor of the bread. On to the positives. The sandwich was phenomenal. The Franken-Hoagie is A Monster Hoagie, filled with Salami, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef & Provolone with Tomatoes, Banana Peppers, Onions, Olive Oil, and Oregano! This all comes on what I believe is maybe a bun from Auddino's. The so much flavor to it, gets no better. And they definitely priced right. There is definitely room for eat in parties. The place has a lot of memorabilia. Even a picture of Captain Kangaroo . I definitely will have to check out some of the specials. Lasagna and Spaghetti. So if you want a filling sandwich this is definitely the best place to go. read more

This was my first time going to Yogi's Hoagies. I had the Friday special: a monster sub, chips, and fountain drink for under $11. The sub was toasted perfectly with a warm, chewy crust. It was also stuffed with over 1/2 a pound of roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, and pepperoni. The veggies on the sub were crisp and fresh. The deli has a hometown feel with old-school decorations and crooner music from the 60's. The staff are kind and hardworking. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised. We came here (in a hurry, late to an event) on NYE. The restaurant was empty except for a couple people who came for carry out orders. We didn't wait too long. I got an Italian sandwich (heated) and it tasted good. I appreciate that they don't put mayo on their sandwiches. Yeah, it's an interesting part of town and I don't think I would go out of my way to come back since I don't live nearby. The inside of this place is depressing. I don't live too far from them and used to be a regular customer but that was something like twenty years ago. The store has seen better days. But to get to the food.... Having heard that the Italian sub was the one to get, that's what I did. And the lady waiting on me mentioned that for $6 and some change I could have chips and a drink with it so who was I to argue? The sub wasn't bad but it wasn't nearly the best that I've had. I used to work close to this place. So it was always good for a quick bite to eat. This is a little family owned business that won't let you down. All of their menu items are really solid. My favorite being their Italia's. I've never had issues with my ordering or any issues with customer service. Their food won't knock you off of your feet. But it will be very satisfying. I'd recommend that you call them and place your order ahead of time. The hoagies take a minute to cook so it's not a super quick fast food process. So it makes it more convenient to just order ahead. read more

They've been in business since 1977 with only two owners the entire time. When I was growing up my friends and I would ride our bikes here for ice cream. They had the cardboard round containers of ice cream and would pile it onto the cone. The jukebox worked at the time too. We'd usually sit on the curb to eat our ice cream because the old fashioned ice cream parlor chairs had wire back rests which poked our backs. The jukebox is still there but doesn't work. The last few years we've come here for Christmas Eve with the extended family. They do a lot of takeout business in the neighborhood. I think they use pizza shells instead of making the pizzas from scratch but they are cooked to order. Relatives swear the Italian is the best sub. I've only had the meatball sub which was fine. read more

Hell, I think one of the little league teams I played against 30 years ago was sponsored by them lol. Nothing to add that anyone else hasn't already. Old school retro decor. Or simply unchanged. The interior is still a bit depressing. The collectibles on the walls and in the case are fun to look at and bring a bit of nostalgia to the place. The inside could use a bit of love though... although, I can see why people would still love the interior, it hasn't changed in years. Now for the food. I think I chose poorly, I got a garlic steak and cheese which was kinda okay. I had more grease than garlic and to say that it "stayed with me" for a couple days would be an understatement. The boyfriend had the Italian which looked quite good and, perhaps, that is what I'll get next time. If it hadn't been snowing, I would've liked to try the ice cream. And, according to the boyfriend, the brownies are damn tasty but they were sold out by the time we got there. The lasagna is also quite good. read more

Pound for pound probably one of the best hoagies/sandwiches you will get in the city. This place has been here forever! And there is a good reason. It kicks ass! The 16" super Italian hoagie with extra meat is a work of art! You look at it and think how am I going to eat all this??? But 20 minutes later I promise you its gone. Great little sandwich shop! It's a small business in a mostly vacant strip mall, so don't blink, or you'll definitely miss it. The decor is definitely something special...Like something out of a Tarantino movie. Anyway, on to the food. I can honestly only speak towards the the "Super Italian", because that's what I've got every time I've been here. It's a great sandwich for the price. The 8" is plenty for lunch. I've never got the 16", but I'm guessing you'll need to be pretty damn hungry! One of these days, I'll try another one of the sandwiches, and maybe even a pizza. But, for now, I'm loving the super italian! read more
