Really enjoyed this sushi spot! The food was fresh, flavorful, and everything we tried was delicious. The rolls were well made, the portions were a good size, and there was a great variety to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience and definitely somewhere I'd visit again when I'm in the mood for sushi! read more

I got the chicken and steak lunch bowl and it was not as good as I thought it would be. Way too much rice, no veggies and the drenched my chicken and steak with there sauce which made it salty. The service was average and food was slow to come out. Restaurant was clean and peaceful. read more

Not very good. We frequent Yogis's across the valley since it's something that my daughter will literally inhale while eating. Not here! She didn't want to eat it. The taste, texture and physical look of the teriyaki chicken was off -- seemed more "chickeny" than usual and didn't have a nice browned color from cooking at all. Not really sure what happened -- perhaps this was a one off. We don't normally frequent this location but will be avoiding going forward. read more

I'm 3 months pregnant and have been OBSESSED with yogis grill my entire pregnancy, I eat there 2-3 times a week and this time was the worst experience I've ever had. I ordered my usual avocado roll with egg rolls and a Gatorade. When I opened my avocado roll I noticed my teriyaki sauce was moving. I looked closer and I saw A STILL LIVING AND MOVINF MISQUOTE!!!!! I called the restaurant literally gagging at the site of my food and they showed ZERO empathy, ZERO concern and all they said was "we can refund you if you bring it back but you have to bring it back" almost like they were hoping I wouldn't. Well lucky them, I just threw it away and will NEVER EVER be returning. Absolutely disgusting food AND customer service. read more

To begin with this place smells horrible! It smells like an old dirty moldy mop that has sat too long! The chicken teriyaki was medicore, the batter and oil to the tempura were gross the oil tasted old and the batter not fully cooked, that vegetables were still hard to bite into. read more

Horrible customer service, no AC on in August, no water for paying customers. Do not give them your hard earned dollar.

I'm giving it a 3-stars instead of 5 because the dine-in experience was a bit confusing lol my friend and I walked up to order and there was like 4 teens, in super plain clothes, like sweats, no work shirts or nothing... just chillin behind the counter talking. My friend and I looked at each other like huh? We figured one of them had to work there because they were behind the counter lol but they just looked at us weird lmfao so we walked back and looked at the menu while trying to figure out who was the one that was supposed to be working lol Finally, a teen/young adult male, motioned for us to walk forward so we did lol and we placed our order and waited. Our food came in about 15-20 mins later, which is long if you ask me... We ordered sushi lol I wouldn't consider it too busy, but the teens were playing around, delaying the process. The male that took our order was kind, offered to re-clean the table we were sitting at, and asked us if we needed anything, which was great. But, I just Ewwww really feel an adult, adult needed to be there to supervise lol But, the food was good, as always! I love Yogi's Grill, and I'd definitely return! read more

To Start Off This Place Doesn't Have Ac When I Asked He Told Me The Bathroom Is Fresh , The Drink Machine Only Has 2 Options And Looks Old And OutDated , Definitely need tod be closed or updated to the standards of yogis read more

I haven't had a bad tasting menu item. I like this place. I've bee coming here for a while. What I did notice or failed to notice until recently. And I can relate to the other reviews on here. Is the way the presentation of the register counter and it's immediate area have become very cluttered. I'll add a photo on my next trip. I must not have really payed attention to it since I'm in and out. I do carry out more often. They have added candies drinks etc. I truly believe this sets a tone subconsciously with a customer. Maybe that's why I chose to do take out more than eat in. (Subconsciously) Hmmmmmm read more

Love the food but absolutely no customer service in this place. According to my receipt the clerks name is Jessica. No "hello", no "thank you" or even "have a good day". The only thing they know how to say is, "Anything else?" Next time, I'd rather drive an extra 15 mins west to the other Yogis where they at least smile when they talk to you. read more

Before we walk through the Costco isle we decided to grab a quick bite. I've eating at Yogis grill at another location. First time here and it was a great experience the restaurant was clean and organized. The cashier was nice to answer my fiancé questions, very helpful. The food was tasty and delicious I always order a regular bowl chicken/beef(spicy) with white rice. My daughter loves the California roll. Easy to get to with big parking lot next to AMC theater. read more

Terrible owner who talks badly to clients and even has them sign a contract before employment is offered he can bill them for missed day of work $50 day. Then belittles and shames them and calls them bad and liers. No integrity. I'll never support this business read more

I try avoid going in, just because I don't like dealing with the lack of customer service...but that's not an option and I suck it up. Online order at this location does not have my Crunch Roll available, so I always have to go in. I'm actually sitting in front of their TV, waiting for my food to be correctly made after I went home and found my food to be made wrong. The place is usually tidy, food is good..but please have your Employees start paying attention, a little smile and even thank you and more appreciative will go a long way.. read more

Have gone to many locations before and this is the worst. Got food today there and the salmon looked undercooked and my tempura shrimp was hard as rock. Threw my receipt away, or else I would have gone back. Would not recommend this location- or maybe it was the people who made it, either way. Highly disappointed and shocked. read more

Just ordered food. Full roll of spicy California roll it came with no ginger, wasabi, or soy sauce. Salad, had no dressing. Beef yakisoba and the noodles are dry. The only great thing about the order was it was delivered by DoorDash! read more

I'm so upset at this location and their service. It's honestly bottom of barrel cooking. This location of yogis grill should visit many of their other locations around the valley or just shut down. It's absolutely ridiculous that the sushi rolls come without sauce or toppings and aside from that it's the only location you cannot add sauce to your liking or toppings to your liking, every other location of yogis I've been to has the sauce machines out for customers to add to their convenience, I'm sorry but this location is horrible even the food it's always dry not to mention I'm paying 16 dollars for a five slice sushi, every other location gives me at least eight slices of sushi. It's honestly a rip off. Food sucks and it's not the first time I try it, I tried it again today thinking it wouldn't be like years ago but no sadly mistaken. I recommend going to the one in Laveen as that one is one of my favorite locations for quality of food and cleanliness. I repeat do not expect fresh food from this location. So upset with this location. read more

They do not honor their promotions! I received a BOGO offer from Yogis Grill in Avondale; when I went to purchase my BOGO, I was told the offer wouldn't be honored as it does not "pop up" on my Belly account. This is the second time this location does this and when I asked the cashier why these emails are sent to customers if they will not be applied to the customers purchase, the cashier (teen male, did not get his name) had no answer to provide and was rude. This place has gone downhill in the last few years. It's unfortunate as the food is great, but the customer service is TERRIBLE. read more

Food is amazing. When I want some good sushi, first place that comes in mind is Yogis grill

Bad service served me old reheated beef. Who knows how long it was sitting there. My boyfriend I both got sick after eating here

This place is so much better than a competitor across the way. Regular size chicken teriyaki is a huge portion. I feel like it's a little over priced but it's hard to find a good teriyaki bowl on the west side. Also tried California roll and shrimp tempura and happy with both! All that together was about $15-16. Calling in your order ahead will help on wait times. read more

Because of the covid issue I ordered take out. The online ordering is very easy. The teriyaki beef is so yummy! My favorite though is the gyoza, or some people know them as pot stickers. They're always cooked perfectly and so flavorful! The staff is always friendly. I know I'll be back again. Well I came back again and the food was just as delicious. I'm obsessed with the gyoza. Cooked to perfection! The staff are always nice and they got my food out quick. Very impressed with them yet again. read more

Disappointed overall just because I've been to better locations like the one on 24th street and baseline. First off very trashy and needs updating to the building itself, young lady at the front Is not welcoming and seems irritated but everyone has bad days so whatever lol. Food is eh literally just how I said it. They charge for sauce and only offer like 6 different soda choices. Overall just don't waste your time here they don't want you anyways I'm use to a welcoming environment, friendly people, fresh food, lots of drink options and a sauce table to add as much as I want read more

Just came to Yogis, came in at 8:55. Sign said open and the door was open. Walked in and they told me "we are closed". Well, don't have your open sign on and don't have your hours posted till 9. It's 9:02 and the sign is still on saying open. read more

Darnell V. at the register is not happy. I didn't even get my food yet and I wish I didn't order here. I will not come here again- the customer service is horrible. Not enjoyable to have a meal when the person at the register is abrasive to customers making an order. read more

A little Disappointed Went to Yogis Grill to have a late lunch and meet with family and friends. Some of my lunch companions had sushi, which was just average at best, others had teppanyaki which in all honesty was soggy and lacked flavor. The other entrée's on the menu we sampled were, spring rolls, beef & chicken terakayi bowls, gyoza, udon, and all these entrée's just weren't very good. Have been to 2 locations of Yoshi Grill and they seem to be about the same quality of food. read more

This is a one stop shop for your quick Asian food fix. Yakisoba, Teriyaki, Sushi...this place has a pretty big menu. After going here a couple of times, I could do without their sushi. They charge about the same as your average sushi bar, but you get something that's not satisfying (very bland). Unless I'm desperate and looking for tempura smothered in eel sauce I won't be trying their rolls again. For the $8 or so you'd spend on that, just get a teriyaki bowl instead. Or some of the other options. Also, there's a small assortment of Japanese snacks and drinks you'd find at the front of an Asian market (pocky, calpico, etc.) For being something that is relatively different in such a bland neck of the woods, I'll be generous and give this place 3 stars. I'll be back whenever I'm catching a movie in the plaza, and hoping this place is better than what I can find in many mall food courts. read more

Yuck! Horrible service horrible sushi!! Won't be back. Ask to add jalapeños in my Roll and they put in pickled jalapeños not fresh! I won't be back! This used to be my place for Yakisoba & sushi rolls. don't get me wrong the Las Vegas Roll I had was as good as usual BUT SOMETHING HAS CHANGED HERE. There wasn't a smell of good food but over compensating bleach. What are they trying to hide. I'm gonna give it a few and I'll try it again but something was definitely off that rubbed me wrong. read more

This spot is trash. Their employees are extremely slow. What's the point of setting a pick up time online if it isn't going to be ready at that time. My order wasn't ready until 30mins after my pick up time. Walk-in customers would get their orders faster then the online orders. The young girl with the braids in her hair, wearing a white sweater, bagging the food, was taking her sweet ass time like the sloth from Zootopia. Like come on, you had 4 people in the kitchen cooking and it took you that long to bring out our orders. Very disappointing, extremely poor customer service. The two young kids working in the front didn't even seem to care. I wish I can give you a -0 star read more

I hope you read this bc although I gave this place 5 stars.. I did not mean 5 stars.. my brother was so disappointed he didn't want to post about it so I did. He is on a prep meal bc he's working towards a body competition. So he went to yogis today and order rice with chicken with no teriyaki sauce and a side of cucumbers and two sides of edamame. Pretty simple order if you ask me. Let me tell you, the chicken was dry tasted like it was recooked and the edamame had no moisture and was whittled. The only good thing was the cucumbers and I'm not sure you could mess that up. Absolutely displeased and utterly disappointed and sad part is I give this place so many customers. read more
