I booked a hot yoga session for a free class trial after taking an outdoor yoga class on a Sunday. Valeria the instructor and the front desk assistant were welcoming on my first day. The hot yoga session wasn't steaming hot that the mirrors will fog; they just turn up the thermometer to 80 degrees. I had no trouble following the positions and moves throughout the session, except I'm not flexible enough to flex backwards like a sandwich. After an hour session, we clean the equipment and handed cool eucalyptus towels to wipe the sweat off. Smells good and relaxing after hot yoga. Valeria was kind to ask everyone how's the class and the assistant made me sign a waiver and take a photo despite I was in a rush. I would definitely come back when I'm around Sunnyvale. Overall, it's a small studio with restrooms, a cubbyhole, and a mini clothing store in one place. It's conveniently located at the corner of the Orange parking garage. I've been going to YogaSix for the last few months, and it's been great! There are different levels of classes catered to your purpose. Restore classes help me wind down faster and sleep better. I had an injury last year, so Mobility classes have been encouraging & assistive. When I want to go into my slow movement mode, then I go to Slow Flow. Sculpt & Flow, Hot & Power classes have been specially beneficial in pushing myself, building strength and gaining trust in my body. The instructors (and other staff) are welcoming, encouraging and kind. They are present all the time when you need help. They always have fun challenges with exciting rewards. If you're not familiar with Yoga TRX, it is a work out where you use a combination of your body weight and yoga! It helps deepen your stretch, and strengthens your core, and builds your strength overall. I love how they offer this different type of workout because of the challenge within yourself it offers. Definitely worth trying out. Also, wanted to shoutout instructor Golnaz! She is top tier and made my yoga sculpt class experience amazing. She provides options for your workout, whether you want to make it more challenging for yourself or not. Listen to your body. But the reason why she is so top tier is because during shavasana, she provided hands on adjustments and allowed my shoulders to relax because she noticed I was tense- she gave me a head massage as well!! I also enjoy the community that I get with the other members and have made some friends along the way. I love this studio! Let me start off by saying I am currently close to the Palo Alto Yoga Six studio but I've not heard much positive about that studio except that it's cramped and super tiny so I've never gone there. I got introduced to this YogaSix studio in Sunnyvale via a yoga back pain class that was wonderful and then decided to eventually sign up for their monthly membership. Let me start off why. First of all everyone at the studio is welcoming. Heather the manger is so awesome and very helpful. The studio is clean, nice, has 2 spacious bathrooms, several lockers for your own personal belongings (but not for every student btw). They have free hair ties at front desk if you need one, deodorant, hygiene pads and dry shampoo in bathrooms. I'm not sure how YogaSix classes are in other locations but for me this studio is wonderful and I keep driving over here even though it's a bit of a drive coz it's worth it each and every single time! Besides people being kind and welcoming here, there's a sense of a lovely community here too. No we are not all besties but everyone respects everyone. If you are an ultra yogini who practices yoga hardcore then perhaps this place isn't for you. I'd say core & sculpt classes are challenging but the majority of classes are for people who want to start/get back into yoga and feel welcomed and not judged. I used to do yoga and Pilates diligently several years ago. Then Covid happened and my practice lessened and then multiple injuries followed including neck, back, hips, knees and ankles. Yes I'm basically broken all over. So even though I had experience in yoga, it was quite intimidating for me to get back into yoga after a while of not practicing it and also multiple injuries and overall severe body instability. This studio is where instructors are welcoming you into your own practice without judgement. They will always mention how you can modify a yoga pose and not have to go all out stretching. Listen to your body is truly embodied here. You can place a laminated paper they offer if you'd like to be adjusted during the class and an instructor might approach you and do that as they're aware you're giving them the permission. I'm fine with having my hips etc closely touched because I am crooked and semi broken everywhere and I want a teacher to show me and help me. It's pretty rare that in any fitness classes instructors provide brief one on one adjustment nowadays and I really appreciate that this is available here. They also have laminated notes if you do not wish to be touched at all and that's respected. At the end of the class they usually do a little scented wave at students that is relaxing. You can waive this as well if you want, usually by having your hand on your heart or stomach. Classes are slow paced but usually challenging enough to get you into shape gradually and help with your balance. Sculpt & flow will kick your butt and get you sweating and sore for sure. Heated classes are not but not super hot where you'll feel you'll pass out and die. They offer dry towels, and wet cool slightly scented towels after class. You're offered to clean your mat and blocks after class to help out which we all do as in a sense of a good community and respect to the studio. Anyway 5 stars for this studio. I highly recommend it! If you're terrified of yoga - to try it this place is for you! Try at least couple classes and I think you'll love it. I surely am planning to keep coming back here! read more

Attended my first class today, the Slow Flow at 7:30 with Tara R. It was incredible. First of all, the studio is very clean and calm. It smells great and the lighting and temperature was very soothing. Tara was a fantastic instructor. She has a calming voice and presence and really set the scene with the music and sounds. Y6 Sunnyvale is a wonderful studio! Everyone is warm and friendly, and I love the variety of classes they offer: theme days, book club, collaborations with downtown Sunnyvale, sound bath sessions and more! All are great. I especially love classes taught by Lauren, Liana, and Yi. Teacher schedules have shifted a bit recently so I don't get to go to as many classes with all of them as I used to. The little touches in the studio really take the experience to the next level such as towels for class, and cool, wet towels for after class. The bathrooms are always clean and well stocked, and the challenges keep me going to class on a regular basis. read more

ive been going to this studio since February 2024 alongside the mountain view and the palo alto locations; the sunnyvale locations is by far my favorite out of the three for the following reasons: 1) parking is a cinch! even tho this is located near downtown sunnyvale there is a nearby garage and ive never had any issues finding a spot, even during peak hours 2) they offer towels (yknow for those sweaty sessions!) 3) they have bolster covers. i believe the mt view and palo alto locations do not have any covers. im a little germaphobe so the bolster covers give me peace of mind 4) the variety of classes! they offer the same classes as the other Y6 locations but this one can sometimes have a music theme or some kind of special series. i find it to be a fun twist; keeps it exciting my main downside of this location is that classes tend to be full. so many people packed into the room, making it hard for some of the poses that we do in class read more

The severe management approach and poor communication at Yoga 6 have damaged its reputation by failing to uphold healthy relationships with members and neighbors. This approach, marked by inconsistencies, disrespect, and disproportionate pressures, contradicts the interests of its customer base, primarily composed of local neighbors, detrimental to the image of a small yet formal business in a small town and we are not happy about that: (this explains noting that the hardworking trainers of this group are not my target) A very poor management experience has been carried out by the managers of this facility, casting a shadow of dissatisfaction in relations with neighbors and members, as if the sole priority of this working group is the collection of profits. Last week, when I came for the 6 AM class I had booked a week in advance, I was surprised to see all the class members standing outside the locked door with no one available to respond!!! After standing in the cold and rainy weather for 15 minutes, we were forced to leave, and there had been no contact with us, neither for cancellation nor to apologize for this incident. As we know, planning for a 6 AM class definitely requires waking up at 5 AM and preparing to be ready for the class you counted on!! This incident passed until the next day... When the 6 AM slot had been previously booked and upon my arrival to connect to the studio, to my utmost surprise, I found the door closed and a group of people standing in the cold and rain in front of the door again, and for the second time, there was a blatant disregard for the members as everyone was canceled, and after standing for 8 minutes, at 6:08, an email was sent stating the 6 AM session is canceled?!?!! After contacting the management, they stated that the classes were canceled and they were unable to notify us!!!!! After discussions with the lady manager, it was agreed that she would talk to her husband and contact us to satisfy the customer and correct the management weakness, but no contact has been made after 1 week (after she mentioned that we will call you back) ... and it shows only the personal benefit of the facility + disregarding the satisfaction and respect of customers and neighbors is at the forefront of their behavior?!!!! On March 5th, while visiting the classroom, I was denied entry for a 1 minute 30 second delay - a delay which, after some discussion, they claimed increased to 2 minutes and prevented me from entering. This incident represents a catastrophic failure of behavior that completely disregards any sense of human dignity and business integrity and clearly shows that the main focus of this management is solely on advancing customer acquisition without valuing human and Behavior with neighbors, noting that the hardworking trainers of this group are not my target. read more

I am a chiropractor and love that the instructors don't push beginners too hard and teach alternate poses, but also allow the more experienced yogis a good class. read more

I'm new to yoga and today was my second class at this studio. I have to say, the instructors are amazing, I get a very warm welcome each time I come, the studio is very clean and very welcoming for all levels. Even though I'm a yoga novice, I always felt comfortable and can easily follow the moves and instructions are clear. I appreciate the warmth of the yoga room and feel relaxed when I leave. I did sculpt and flow today and let me tell you, adding weights to yoga really helps you feel the burn in a good way. This studio is fantastic! The instructors are great, and the staff and management are very helpful. Lots of extras are provided for each class. Golnaz and Taylor are my favorite instructors, they are very different bot both provide a great workout! The "Yoga Scuplt" classes are great, and I have grown stronger as well as more proficient with each class! And walkability to Murphy street restaurants, Whole Foods, and Leigh's books after, are huge extra plusses. I'd give a 10 if I could! read more
