If I could add a ++ to the 5* rating I would! I absolutely love the studio, the teachers and the classes. My new top ranking class is Amanda's Power Class. I was so scared to try this class and now when I finish or leave I feel so incredibly accomplished! It's amazing how strong I notice I am becoming and the balance is improving as well. She's an amazing teacher and just really appreciate her style! It's above and beyond. Remember all the teachers have been terrific but sometimes one stands out in particular. Really enjoy the classes here. I like power classes and they are definitely a challenge here which I love love so much! I've only taken 2 power classes here so far- one by Amanda and one by D'Andre. Both times were fantastic. The room are hot. Classes were just honestly great, which makes it worth the work out and the drive. read more

I've been going to Yoga Six in Long Beach for over a year after trying other studios in Long Beach. The community that Rebecca, the owner, has cultivated is unlike any other yoga or gym community I've encountered. Everyone is friendly and supportive and the classes are challenging but all of the instructors teach modifications as needed. I'm currently pregnant and there's also a good variety of classes that support people who are pregnant. I love Sarah's classes! They are fun, relaxing, challenging and full of laughs. 10/10 recommend if you are looking for a warm and welcoming yoga studio. read more

I took a Thursday Flow class at 6 AM with Kim as my instructor. She is excellent and the best instructor I had. She is comforting and supportive. Kim encourages you to push your limits, but it is non-judgmental if you cannot perform a pose. She is very respectful of your level, whether you are a novice or a pro. Her class is suitable for any level. During Kim's class, she helps you forget your problems and enjoy your yoga practice. The studio is clean and has all the modern amenities. I recommend this studio, especially if you want to start or return to practicing yoga. read more

Since being locked indoors, I got used to my YouTube yoga. Decided to start the new year with new habits. Just finished Amanda's amazing class at YogaSix & it was nothing short of awesome. The room was slightly warmed, the lights were dim, the room smelled nice, equipment was clean, and she gently pushed me to do as much as I felt comfortable. I was a member for over a year and really enjoyed the studio, classes, and instructors. Although when it came it to cancel, there was very little communication after I tried reaching out several times. They charged me for my last month, even though I explained I was unable to utilize the studio and never went to the studio during that month. I've been very disappointed in the cancellation policy and lack of communication from their team. I called and left voicemails, left messages with receptionists, and sent multiple emails to their operations team, GM's, and customer service form on their website. It's great when you're a member, but when you need to cancel, the customer service is subpar (to put it nicely). read more

This is a great yoga studio with a wide-range of classes offered. They also have cool towels that are before, during, and after their amazing HOT yoga class, which I highly recommend! I loved my experience at yoga six! The front desk staff were very welcoming, the facilities were extremely clean, and the teachers were so knowledgeable. I loved the mood lighting in the yoga room and the organization of how to clean up and where to put your mats on the floor. I joined YogaSix Long Beach a few months ago and am happy to say I have become a regular Slow Flow Yogi. All of the instructors are excellent each adding their own expertise and personality to the classes. I am learning every session and am improving my balance and pose alignment. I was going to use a half a star but it is not available. Let's start: 1) The MARKETING is beyond aggressive, it is invasive and persistent even after you take the time to respond. To make things more awkward and somewhat annoying you get multiple offers and reminders to sign up at "amazing" 20% for life before they open. They started calling, texting and emailing back in October 2022 and the studio opened in Jan 2023. They did not even have a schedule of what they would be offering and when but insisted I should sign up early for the deal of my life... 2) I received 3 free classes since in one on my replies (that did not stop others to keep contacting me though) I had explained that I would never sign up for a monthly/yearly anything without at least taking 1-2 classes. Most places do the same, so far so good. Last Saturday, Jan 15th I decided to check it out. I have to take the blame for not asking if they had an adequate changing room and showers before hopping in the car and driving down PCH . I was going to take Hot Flow (95 to 100F as they told me and got me excited about when I called before leaving the house and to get added). Once I got to the Long Beach studio I was told I would have to change right there in the one room that serves as lobby and change room and that they have NO SHOWERS. I have been practicing hot yoga for several years across north America. I have never been to place where at those temperatures they did not have dedicated changing rooms with showers. So I am supposed to change essentially in the front window (then I should charge for the show!), stuff my things somewhere (they have 6 lockers), take a 95-100F Fast Flow class, get all sticky and sweaty (that is part of the beauty, challenge and healing power of this work out/practice) and then drive home in my sweaty underwear, pants, whatever one wears???? NOTE: clothing at 98F (average) is not that comfortable so most people use the least they can (for each body and preference), it is not unusual for men to do this practice wearing shorts only and I have seen many ladies with tan top and short pants or tights as well) Oh no wait the young lady at the reception said, we have mini towels (you know they type they give you to clean your hands at Benijana...), you can wipe yourself... One second, you want me to whipe my private parts here in front of everybody (now we really should charge), not to mention that I need a shower after this work out, but even accepting the fatality you do not have one and using my own (adequate size) towel, where do I go? "Well we have restrooms".... which are the size of hanker-chief, but that is besides the point because I find it unhygienic and possibly unpleasant (what kind of smells you get in those rooms.. depending which bodily discharge need anyone prior might have had.. REGARDLESS it is a restroom! So I hopped and left and that is all there will ever be with Yoga6. Snob? Perhaps, thoughtful and clean, that too. By not thinking about my "real" experience in your studio, it is clear you do not care at all about what I just pointed out. There are better options. I understand that the implosion of Core Power Yoga left a void and there is demand for these type of practice/workouts now that we think the pandemic is over of we do not care (same outcome), however I strongly encourage the ownership/investors/stakeholders of the corporation to select location/s that have changing rooms and showers... You are rolling out too many of them, I do not know if the other ones are set up like this one and have really no curiosity left at this point to find out. At a very cost effective minimum, please add to the studio web site that "NO CHANGE ROOM NOR SHOWER IS AVAILABLE"... there is a lot of us on the planet, I am sure some people do not care..
