I was so excited with this location was opening north of the metro. I visited a C2 class today. The…read moreroom was very humid and warm but had been cold earlier so the floor got very wet and sweaty (slippery). The rear class room has drafty steel doors which had a towel under both of them. The instructor was very friendly and offered some hands on adjustments which is the best thing they had to offer here. I didn't appreciate that two other corepower instructors were getting special treatment at the end. I peeked my eyes open because I could smell the essential oil and she was only giving that to them. What gives? She was also testing out a new routine/flow and it was very choppy and she seemed to get lost. The instructor was friendly and so were the other staff here. The locker rooms are out in the lobby area. This seems like a okay idea I would presume to stop theft in the locker rooms. Who knows. It felt awkward. Normally they are in the locker rooms where the bathrooms and showers are. Only two restrooms and one shower. You read that right ONE SHOWER! In the land of sweaty yogis what the heck is going on here. Not only did they cheapen up the shower (most locations have glass doors) this one has a shower curtain and is smaller. I was meeting friends for brunch and had to shower. So I waited in line and then was late for brunch. I can't see myself taking a class here unless I am heading straight home afterwards. No AM yoga here for me. I'll go to northeast instead. I was told they were having a hard time finding a space for the CPY location and ended up modeling it after the New York studios.

I don't love this studio that much. I want to love it so badly though. Firstly, the location is not…read morebad but parking can be hectic because it is next to a restaurant, a gym and so many other stores in the Rosedale Common mall area. As for the studio itself, it is small. Quite disappointing since it is new and located in the suburb. Can't they find a better space than this in Roseville? It's surprisingly small, especially the women's restroom and changing room. I am not the only one who was surprised by the one shower stall. The ladies in the changing room made the same comments and left with sweaty bodies and wet dripping hair. My coworker who goes to core power also said she won't be back even though she lives in Shoreview. She would rather drive to NE. What were you thinking corepower? I can understand if you don't think shower facilities are important if it is a yoga studio but for a hot yoga place? Also is it your ploy to limit members from practicing here because this studio is not designed to support growth! I am lost for words. I have such good experience in all the other corepower.

The staff is fantastic, the classes are wonderful, and the people are so friendly. My tween took…read morethe beginner sling class, and even though she usually prefers to relax, this is one activity she keeps coming back to. The instructors she had were really encouraging, which made a big difference for my soft-spoken kiddo. I noticed that on days she went to class, she slept better and her overall mood improved. Since a lot of sports and physical activities for kids tend to be competitive, which isn't really her thing, Fly Freak has been a great alternative. If you're looking for a way for your child to move around that also helps with regulation, I definitely recommend giving Fly Freak a try!

There is a strong sense of community community at Fly Freak - students and staff both are so accepting and encouraging. I love how everybody cheers when someone does a trick for the first time! I love chair dance (shout out to Kit!), aerial yoga (all the teachers for this are phenomenal) and Sling (my go to teachers are Clara, Christy and Hayley, but I've never had a instructor I didn't like!). I also love the workshops and special events - self defense classes, guardian and kiddo classes, sound baths and my personal favorite, photo shoots! If you're looking for a new obsession or even just want to try something different, you won't regret going to Fly Freak.

Includes philosophical commentary and mind body breath, conceptualizations to help the student go within. Inspiring and humorous. I love his classes and the center.

This is, hands down, one of my favorite yoga experiences…read more I am a yoga person who got into it for the stretching and to compliment my other athletic sports/workouts. Lots of Iyengar yoga in my life. :) I've gone to various instructors, gym yoga classes, yoga focused studios, etc, but this is my absolute favorite. It's not the cheapest yoga experience in the Cities, but I always feel like it's worth every cent. First off, the space. There are two studios, and both are lovely. Well-equipped, quiet, and clean. I feel calmer and more centered just coming into this space. Even in the winter, when everyone has to squeeze in and take off all your layers in the coat room entry! Second, the TEACHERS. I've only had good experiences with the various teachers I've had. There's definitely a range-- some teachers appeal more to me than others. But I can always see how the teachers I don't prefer would appeal to someone different than me. The teachers are always very, very good. They are clearly very engaged and working to improve their own teaching methods and styles, and this is one of the places where I feel like the money I spend really pays off. I always felt very listened to, and like the teachers wanted to support ME in my practice. As a fat athletic woman, that's sometimes not always the vibe I get, yk? Finally, the classes! I love that this place distinguishes what kinds of styles and focuses the classes have, and even when I go to the same class week after week, it's always a little different. I feel like there's a wider variety of styles and focuses here than I typically find. It's really helped me put my finger on and articulate what I do and don't want at different times. I would say it's more yoga focused than fitness yoga focused, generally. If you're looking for fitness yoga you might be disappointed. Other notes: Parking is limited, but the studio is directly on the 21 bus route and has places to lock up a bike.

What was meant to be a month has lead to a lie and now I am paying for NOTHING! It does not work. I am fit, looking for some non-invasive work and I was scammed to the max.

...y'all are so lucky right now…read more Why? Because I'm sharing this gem with you (while I'd much, MUCH rather keep it to myself). Seriously. Nordeast Yoga is what got me into yoga. Period. I was going through a very...let's call it "transitional" time 1.5 years ago, and I deeply credit Nordeast Yoga for helping me successfully live through it without going insane - as a place for grounding, being mindful, and bettering myself both physically and mentally. I'm a huge fan of yoga now thanks to Nordeast. The studio space itself is beautiful: hardwood floors, large windows that let in floods of sunlight, exposed brick...it's really perfect. In the evening, classes are naturally lit with the setting sun and candles. Each instructor has something very unique to offer. Classes range from higher levels in yoga ability to straight up beginner, some are more meditative, others are a fantastic blend of meditation meets a pretty intense (and satisfying) workout. I also appreciate the adjustments when I'm in a pose. I've taken both Annie or Christy's classes and both are absolutely wonderful yoga teachers. I also am a BIG fan of their music choices (what is up with yoga and bad music!?), especially Yoga a-Go-Go. Once a month, there's even metal yoga, and nothing says warrior 2 quite like Iron Maiden. Drop-In class prices are about $13, and you can also purchase monthly passes (with a bonus free beer at its completion!). Class times vary (and it's a one-studio space), so definitely check the schedule on their website to find the best class/time for you. Soooo yeah. Nordeast Yoga is amazing. Definitely check it out. You're welcome.
