I was able to swing by for a free class for my birthday and I had a great time! Everyone is so friendly from the moment you step in, and everything is very clean and well maintained. The workout was hard but fun and even though it was an hour it went quickly. Parking can be a little bit tricky but I was able to get a spot. I went to barre3 as a part of ClassPass and it was a great place! The facilities are very nice, they have a kid play area, lockers, couches, and cute free little library. Everyone was super nice and welcoming and I got a complimentary bag of bath salts my first time going! It was a pretty typical barre workout, we warmed up with some movement before using resistance bands, small yoga balls, light hand weights, and sliders. We ended with a cooldown stretch and breathing. It was a great holistic full body workout that is definitely suited for all levels. I was dripping sweat throughout LOL I usually go to solidcore since I have a membership but since injuring my shoulder, I have been taking a break and trying to find new places that are lower impact on my shoulder. I was able to make lots of modifications while still getting a good burn in. I definitely recommend this barre workout for people looking to be active with a slight challenge. read more

Wow, I was blown away by my first visit here! I found Barre3 on ClassPass and it won't be the last time I go. Located in Edina in a strip near Zupas with plenty of parking. Inside, I was greeted at the check in desk: when I said it was my first time, Morgan showed me around: they have two large bathrooms with showers, changing areas, and amenities like hair ties and deodorant. They also have a kids play area so kids can hang out while parents take class - so smart! They also have a tea station and a book swap station which I love. I came 5 mins early and should have left a bit more time to check in and get settled! First timers need to fill out a waiver form that takes a few minutes. Once I finished, Morgan introduced me to Laura the instructor and we got underway! The class included an active warmup with synchronized actions and some barre moves mixed in. This class was a total body class using weights, a small ball and gliders working out arms, legs, and abs, and included some cardio too. Throughout the class, Laura provided options to level down the moves and openly expressed that bodies will feel and need different things in each section, which I really appreciated. Laura came over during the class to check in on me and chat more which I really appreciated. The playlist was bumping and I felt very energized and comfortable! We didn't use the bar much in this particular class but still did plies and other barre moves. My legs were definitely feeling it after! After class, they both thanked me for joining and gave me a welcome card - so sweet! They offer an intro offer that's a great value. I could really tell the staff cares about folks and there's a genuine connection and community here. The level of intention and care is clear - I'll be back! read more

I've tried many barre classes in the metro area and barre3 is by far the best studio. The classes are great for beginners and those more advanced. I appreciate that modifications are offered to make things easier or spice things up. The parking lot is shared with Cafe Zuppas and is a one way direction flow. There is usually parking available, but sometimes I feel like I grab the last spot. read more

I just went to my first barre class through class pass the other day and I was super impressed! The person at the front, Emily, was so friendly and greeted me while explaining some details of where to find the bathroom, drinking fountain and what to grab for class on the shelves. The instructor was super nice as well and explained to me my weights I grabbed were a bit heavy for the class so she recommended something lighter which I definitely appreciated while doing the class. The barre class I took was a good mixture of yoga and resistance training. I felt a bit sore the next day but in a very good way! read more

Just finished my first class here with Becky and this Barre3 is a strong and consistent representation of the (national) Barre3 empire. If you've been to other Barre3's, you'll feel right at home in their Edina location. I arrived 30 minutes before the class I signed up for because somehow there was no traffic coming from downtown St Paul on a Thursday night (thank you reverse commute!). Ample parking and easy to find in the shopping center, I walk in and am greeted by Hayley at the front desk. She was beyond professional and friendly. We ended up chatting the whole time about our similar scholastic and career goals. What a fantastic first impression of this studio. Which is in immaculate condition and is so adorable with many clothing, jewelry, and other items for sale. *this location, like all other Barre3's, has a staffed kids play area* Then I meet the instructor Becky who recognized that I was a new face and introduced herself and was so personable. She made sure I felt welcomed and we laughed about MN winters and my first official ice-slip the other day leaving my hiney very tender... anyway. Becky's class is a full body workout with a great mix of leg shakes at the barre, cardio blasts, core work, abs, and weights. Great music, great positive words and motivation. I left feeling rejuvenated in body and spirit, which Barre3 teaches their instructors about but it still takes a special skill set to execute. Becky's got it. They're on ClassPass-- I WILL be back. This is the best workout I've ever had and I'm soooo bummed they do not have a Barre3 location in my area! A mix of barre, Pilates and yoga- you get an amazing workout that'll make you sweat, strengthen you and clear your mind at the same time. The trifecta of perfection and efficiency! The music is awesome and great for keeping on tempo. One of the owners- Morgan- is so sweet and nice. She's also one heck of an instructor!! The studio is bright and clean. And, for those moms out there, have a child care center right in the lobby ($5) that has a staff member dedicated to watching the kiddos. I believe she said the child care is available for morning classes during week and all weekend classes (but you will need to double check). No reason to not work out! Completely in love with this place and totally jealous of all of you who are able to go here! read more

Barre3 just opened near Southdale and they are offering a first class free for their grand opening month. What's different about Barre3? - Their approach to fitness is so healthy and individualized. It gets your heart rate up and builds strength, but offers "modifications" or options for nearly every movement, so anyone can be successful. - The owners, Lucy and Morgan, are so kind and authentic. They love Barre3 and everything it stands for and that is truly reflected in all their interactions. - The studio is so beautiful and clean. Bright natural light. Cork floors. Well appointed bathrooms. And, did I mention tons of parking? - Founded in Portland, Oregon ten years ago, this is the first Barre3 studio in MN (there are 150 studios in the world). I'm so thrilled I started going to Barre 3. It's a challenging and dynamic workout with high quality instructors. The facilities are clean and they have lockers and cubby space. I just visited Barre3 yesterday for the first time. I was welcomed by a few staff members who were near the front desk when I arrived. The space is warm and welcoming, and is nicely decorated. The owner Morgan gave me a tour of the studio and the amenities. The bathroom and changing areas were very nicely appointed. Another plus is that they do not charge to use the locks or lockers while you are in class. The studio itself is a nice size; the class was full but it didn't feel crowded in the room. I also appreciated that the instructor Becky walked me to a spot on the barre and showed me the ropes before class started. The class itself was very fun and very challenging. Leaving the studio I felt appreciated as a new customer and client. The staff members were all very thoughtful and genuine. I will be returning soon! read more
