Clean studio, friendly instructor and a decent workout. I do want to point out that I did not like the music playing in the background; it's hard to shut your brain off with John Mayer playing. I can't say enough good things about YogaFit! I was looking through the window at the Uptown location and the owner, Ashok, opened the door and asked if I had any questions. He gave me his phone number and said if I tried it out and there was anything I didn't like or wanted to see differently just to call him. I just want to say how grateful I am for discovering Yogafit. When I fell on hard financial times this year, I called to cancel my membership. I expected the phone call to last a few seconds. Instead, the owner Ashok and I spoke for a while, discussing possible job opportunities he was aware of in the city, and offered to wave my membership fee in exchange for occasionally cleaning the studios. I had never even met him before. That's the kind of community Yogafit fosters. The owner and teachers genuinely care about each person who walks into the studio. Not to mention, the classes are SO fun and I have never been in better shape as a result. 10/10 recommend. read more

I really liked having the experience of an owner reaching out to me directly and interacting with me once I arrived! I came here for a "Yoga and Puppies" event, which was awesome, because the proceeds of the class went directly to a local non-profit shelter. Class wise, I'd say the only reasons I'm not giving them 5 stars are - 1. we kept going through the same set of poses over and over again - while this helps, especially for first timers, at a certain point I was a little unenthusiastic about doing the same sets; and 2. the space filled up quickly, I think it would have been better to limit the number of people attending the class to a smaller size, as we were a bit cramped together. All in all, great place, just could use a couple of tweaks! read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about YogaFit. The classes, price, and management team are unbeatable and I've really loved growing in my practice here. Some things I love about YogaFit: Classes: They offer a wide variety of great classes from more traditional Yoga practices to more exercise style classes like Barre and Burn with a Yoga influence. I appreciate that all of the instructors are incredibly welcoming, offer modifications for all the poses and movements, play fun music, and challenge everyone at every level. Each instructor puts their own unique twist on each class which makes it fun to try out different classes, instructors, and locations. The studio is also kept at 85 degrees or so which isn't for everyone, but I feel personally adds a bit more sweat without feeling stifling like at other hot yoga studios. Some folks like it hotter, some folks don't like it hot at all, it's all personal preference! Price: YogaFit is by far the most affordable Yoga and exercise studio in the area for what you get. For under $100 you get unlimited classes with the opportunity to earn cash back on your health insurance plans. Additionally, they have a fabulous buddy pass program which allows friends and family to easily join you for a class for a great activity to do together, especially during the cold Minnesota days. Management: Ashok owns most of the YogaFits around the Twin Cities and he does a fabulous job at creating a welcoming environment for everyone to come practice. He remembers all of the students by name and always makes sure everyone is satified with their memberships and the offerings that they provide. Ashok and the rest of the YogaFit team also do a great job at making sure everyone is comfortable and safe every time they walk into the studio. I am so thankful to have found this wonderful studio close to the S. Minneapolis, Edina, and St Louis Park neighborhoods. I just finished up my first free week and tried out as many classes as I could. Unfortunately I was only able to test out the fusion and sweat classes. Fusion reminded me of a sculpt/body-pump class or yoga with weights. It's very approachable however will leave you a little sore the next day! The 60 and 75 minute sweat classes are wonderful in the chilly weather, and are anywhere from a beginner/intermediate vinyasa flow. The instructors were all amazing! So friendly and obviously well trained. The studio itself is large, clean and inviting, and try dry-heat is wonderful for practice. I also love the times! They offer 6am classes and a variety of times after work. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Discovered this place through a groupon last year and was so happy I did. The owner is incredibly friendly and will remember you by name which makes the studio atmosphere very welcoming. There is only one large room for classes so it's never overcrowded with people. I always look forward to practicing yoga here because it's much more relaxed than neighboring studios. They offer such a variety of classes from barre, vinyasa, and even candlelight yoga. The best part of the classes is that they use moderate heat and never make the room "hot" like other studios. The instructors are all fairly young so they bring energy and challenge you to your fullest potential during class. My favorite thing about YogaFit is the essential oils they use on your temples or feet at the end of class because it makes me feel like I'm ending my practice at a spa. read more

Love the parking lot - grabbed a spot right outside and walked in to be warmly welcomed by both the owner, Ashok, and the manager, Megan. After living two years abroad I came home to Minnesota wanting to be healthier and more balanced. I tried the free week at yogafit linden hills and immediately bought an unlimited month. The studio is inviting and really feels like a community. I love that Ashok and his wife, the owners, really make it a point to get to know the yogis! This studio also has a bunch of options for classes. Yoga burn always kicks my butt. I recommend Kendra's class! Yoga flow 2 with Heather or Sara is also a great class to regain focus and balance while still getting a super great workout. If you want a studio that remembers your name, has a variety of tough classes this studio is perfect. The ONLY downside is that there is occasionally traffic depending on where you are coming from. I drive 30 minutes to get to this studio each day and it's worth it but on traffic days it got to be a long commute. Huge fan. Try it out for yourself for a free week! read more
