I woke up vomiting and knew they would consider it a late cancel or no show and charge me extra fees, so I called and emailed (and then came in) to ensure I wasn't charged. I assumed management would prefer not be exposed (and expose all of their customers) to a viral illness just to bank an extra $20. I was told no one could help me because the GM Christina no longer allows them any authority and finally I got a call back from Christina speaking condescendingly about how it's hard to manage and saying she couldn't refund me (even though I went into the class). It's not safe for members to have sick peers pressured to come in anyway. I can't support a business that operates like this anymore.

I was so surprised to see a gym create this kind of culture. After coming to a few classes, I can definitely tell the culture comes from their instructors. They make aerial approachable and fun while making you feel safe with lots of encouragement! I took a Fly Fit Fun class with Angela yesterday and had a blast! She was patient and super motivating. In her classes she gives you the right amount of motivational push while making your body beg for a break. Her energy and friendliness makes entering the Tiger zone easier for a newbie. Since 2020, they made offer on-demand which allows you to bring these same badass trainers into your home when it works for you. A perfect option for in this new day and age. Some of them were hard and I wasn't sure on my own how to change the move to still get something out of it, but change it for my skill level. Yes, barre is based off of ballet, but I felt it was a much more prominent feature of this class compared to other studios. The worst part of the class was the music. Instead of playing Taylor Swift's music remixes of Taylor's music was played. It wasn't the same. You'll want to arrive early for your class for a variety of reasons. One of those reasons is to give yourself time to fine the studio. The building is confusing.

Immediately was hooked. I ended up getting the 4 classes per month membership and it's plenty to keep me engaged without burning out. Literally, because these classes are insanely hard. Overall facilities are nice, I wish there were showers or even more than just 2 bathrooms because I'd prefer to take a class before heading into the office but do need to get ready. It also gets a little cramped in there sometimes. I get that classes fill up so having the extra machine or two can make a difference, but there are times I feel like I might be holding hands with my neighbor.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received at the Life Time…read morePlymouth location on the evening of July 18th, 2026 at approximately 8:00 p.m. I brought two friends with me as my guests. Upon arriving, I was informed that the Plymouth location was not included in my membership and that, because it was after 6:00 p.m., my guest passes were no longer valid. My friend then offered to pay the guest fee of $50 each for himself and his father, but your front desk representative informed us that this was not allowed after 6:00 p.m. I fully understand that employees are required to enforce Life Time's policies, and I have no issue with the rules themselves. My concern is with the manner in which we were treated. The representative was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Her tone of voice, attitude, and overall demeanor made us feel unwelcome from the moment we approached the desk. Good customer service requires treating members and guests with courtesy and respect, even when delivering disappointing news, and unfortunately that did not happen. As we were leaving, the representative used her radio to communicate with someone. I could not hear what she said, but as we were riding the elevator, a Life Time employee who appeared to be part of the security staff approached her and spoke with him, then pointed in our direction. This left the three of us confused and uncomfortable, especially since we had been respectful throughout the entire interaction and had not caused any disturbance. I did not catch the representative's name, but she was working the front desk at approximately 8:00 p.m. I respectfully ask that management review the security footage and, if available, the audio from our interaction so you can evaluate how the situation was handled. I hope management will investigate this matter thoroughly and take the appropriate action to ensure that members and their guests are treated with professionalism and respect in the future. Regrettably, this experience has left such a negative impression that I have decided to cancel my membership. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.
