I can't believe I waited this long to right a review for this studio. It's simply a gem of a yoga studio on Mercer Island. These teachers are quality. There is a wide variety of classes so you can easily find one to suite your style. I love that they are family friendly and encourage you to attend a class with your teenager/young adult. They have a variety of workshops and have beginner classes. There is a water fountain to fill your water bottle and they rent yoga mats/towels. The locker room isn't huge, but there are two showers in the women's locker room and lockers inside. You must bring your own locks. Classes at times do fill up so definitely sign up and get there 5 min early or your spot might be given up. I love the heated yoga classes, the yoga body lab is a favorite of mine as well. read more

I have come here a few times over the last couple of years and I have always had a great experience. I started taking their Basic Vinyasa courses as I really needed something slower paced to help me with some chronic pain. Most recently I started to check out their Intro to Meditation courses and I'm obsessed. They're free and typically around lunch time on the weekends. It's a good balance to have between some of the other classes I take. The staff here is really nice and helpful. They also have really cute swag for sale! I would suggest checking them out. Right now they have a $35 deal for new students where you get 2 weeks of unlimited classes! That's a bargain since 1 drop in class runs you $22. read more

I am so thankful that Yogabliss offers a weekly Yin class. I just finished class, totally blissed out. Yin is my favorite 2 for 1 - meditation plus yoga. It is a very grounding practice and perfect way to clear your mind, reduce stress and anxiety, and stretch. Rail's style of teaching is very thoughtful and experienced. read more

It was going well until it wasn't. So sorry yogabliss. I was pulling for you guys. In your words... It looks like you purchased a special sale Giving from the Heart 10-Class Card in Feb 2020 in which proceeds went to the Mercer Island Youth & Family services. These special class cards have a 1-year expiration. Yogabliss does not offer refunds or extensions and unfortunately we are unable to offer flexibility on our policies at this time. It does look like you have a $14 account credit on your account, however which you can absolutely use when signing up for classes. read more

Yogabliss is my favorite yoga studio on the island. I've really taken a liking to the Yoga Nidra classes. It is the perfect class for preparing yourself for a peaceful and restful night of sleep. In my opinion, what separates these yoga Nidra classes from others is the instructor usually brings in multiple heated Bio Mats. These mats have amethyst crystals infused in them and they have several health benefits. I experienced a great nights rest, but research also shows they relieve minor muscle and joint pain along with stress reduction and improved immune system. Needless to say, Yogabliss is a yoga studio where you can find ultimate mind and body wellness. read more

A wonderful space and community for yoga and meditation. Maria is a joy and her team are wonderful.

I started my two weeks trial at yoga bliss and loved it. I'll continue going there.

Love this place. The online scheduling site is super easy to navigate and the staff is amazing. I am in the health and fitness industry and I can't say enough good stuff about the teachers here. They are so inviting and knowledgable about the body, the poses and making any accomidation necessary. It's super convenient if you live on Mercer Island but worth the drive if you don't. The studio is very clean and the front desk staff are very helpful and inviting. I've tried other studios and nothing compares to this one. read more

I liked and disliked this place. I liked that the instructor Catherine (spelling?) was really nice and took some time to meet the new students and ask about their yoga background. The class was an intro class and I liked that we learned about the different poses as well as back up poses for ones we could't do, but what I didn't like is that it was a long class, too hot (it was not hot yoga they just didn't have sufficient air in the studio), the terminology was used throughout the class even though it was an intro class and there were people who have never taken yoga before were confused, and I didn't like how they allowed the class to get super packed so the body heat was doubling! All in all though I think it's a nice studio and some people seemed like they loved it and were going often. Nice staff! read more

First visit on Sunday It has two studios. One for hot yoga and the other one not. The non-hot studio was not too big or small. It has a structural column off to one side of the room. I liked the natural light from the window. The place came with two showers, some lockers in the ladies bathroom. Additional shelve space for storage is outside of the studios. The water fountain came with the normal fountwin and a water bottle sensor. I love using it at SeaTac and now in a yoga studio too. Sweet! Today's workflow is pretty productive and with some level of challenge. However, I wish the teacher slowed down her instruction and avoid babbling. It will make the flow more smooth and add harmony. I especially enjoyed the longer Shavasana. I would suggest the instructor again to be less wordy and may be just share an inspiring quote with a soothingly tone to enhance the relaxation. I will definately come and keep my fingers crossed that this will be my studio for a long time moving forward. I had been trying different studios around town and visit other state's studios as well. Once I found mine, somehow it found ways to deteriorate (over crowded, teacher left, dirty, etc.) Fair pricing Clean studio Good facility Good class size Unsure about parking yet read more

Love Yogabliss! I'm on the island for a couple of weeks and thought I'd check out the Yogabliss studio. I love the classes, the instructors, and the people that go are very nice too. They offer a range of classes at different levels and every one I've been to was great. read more

YogaBliss is a gem! I've been attending YB classes for about 18 months. All the instructors are extremely experiences and truly excellent...the best in the Seattle area. Each instructor is empowered to bring the best of what they have to offer (i.e., there is no adherence to a strict formula of sequential poses). As a result, the studio attracts a diverse group of students...from very experienced practitioners to beginners. All are welcome and are made to feel at home. Students not only get a good workout, but they also receive guidance for integrating yoga practices into everyday life. Classes provide an excellent balance of body, mind & soul work via a very inviting format. read more

Me and my wife like this place a lot. Location is convenient and parking has never been a problem. The crowd is good, sincere and most people are friendly. Studio is clean and well managed, staff has always been friendly. Finally, how good a studio is determined by its visiting teachers. We have loved attending classes of almost all the teachers here and everyone has their unique style, but a special mention for Gianna Carotenuto. She is really the best yoga teacher we have trained under. She is very wise with her advice and the many years of practice and teaching experience she has shows. Also she is very grounded and learning under her is a pleasure. Cheers! read more

This is my favorite yoga studio in the area and I always try to arrange my schedule to take in some classes when I visit. All of the teachers are knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Each brings a different set of skills and experiences. There are two spacious studios and setting is welcoming and very clean. read more

Yogabliss is a true blessing in my life. I started coming about a year and a half ago when my mother convinced me to try hot yoga with her. Suffice to say, I became an addict. As someone who has been told by my doctor that my hamstrings are way too tight, I never thought I would be described as a flexible person. I had so much fun at yogabliss, i was shocked that within two months I could put my hands flat on the floor! The teachers are wonderful and are very alignment focused. They will come around and correct you to make sure you won't hurt yourself. Some of my favorites are Amy, Cobey, Andreas, and Maria (the owner). I also have really enjoyed their barre classes. This is the perfect yoga studio. A wonderful community to be a part of. read more

I learned about this studio through an online deal and am a big fan. I admittedly didn't experience all the class variations and teachers but, I did have the great experience of taking class with Mackenzie Miller. She was the first yoga teacher who I believe enjoys being upside down as much as I do! I also took a class with another instructor who was also very kind and had a practice I was able to learn a great deal from. I would (and have) recommend this to friends. I hope to get a chance to try some more of their classes as well as they have a great variety. read more

I LOVE YogaBliss. The studio itself is beautiful and Maria has done an extraordinary job at creating a yoga studio full of peace, kindness, positive energy, and incredible instructors. The variety of classes is remarkable. I generally go to a bootcamp with Meghan, barre with Casey, and as many hot yoga classes with Cherie as possible each week. The meditation classes are also fantastic. Every day I go to YogaBliss I leave with a smile on my face and think about how grateful I am for such an exceptional resource in the Mercer Island community. read more

I travel, yoga is my savior. I fully respect each studios uniquenss and each instructors freedom to teach yoga however they like...however I don't react well when classes are misrepresented in name and description. A class listed as Vinyasa had us connect with breath in the beginning and set an intention, then jumped into some myofascial release ball work, then some pilates mat type moves for core- pulses and such, which are great...if thats what you want. But thats not what I wanted that day. About 40 minutes into the class we did a couple of Vinyasa type yoga series, which was ok at best, but I was negative by then. It's like asking for an herbal tea and getting a cup of coffee- both great, but what I order is what i would, or some version very close to it. The studio is nice, clean, well appointed, however there are no introductions, not welcoming and actually nobody said hello when I walked in- "I gotcha" was the only info shared as one lady checked me in and was upset about the hangers or something. Overall, not inclusive, not authentic and not what I needed. I read some reviews, some people said " always different" so what good for some is not good for others. There are better options for me off the Island read more

Very bad management and bad customer experience. I purchased the membership and made the reservation but was refused to enter the class b/c the class is full... and I didn't get any refund. NOT Recommend! read more

Great workout! The instructor (I think Suzanne) was awesome. There were also some new poses that I had never been taught before. Would definitely go again. read more

I love the new studio! They keep adding and changing class schedules based on what seems like students' requests/needs. That's amazing. This place is the best. read more

Great place! Love the classes, atmosphere, and welcoming staff! I will be back and recommend this studio!

This yoga studio is my favorite in Seattle, worth a trip to Mercer Island! The instructors are helpful and have a lot of experience in planning the class and teaching the students. Come early because it can get crowded! read more

I like this place very much especially all the yoga instructors are true yoga professionals. I really like taking Auryel and Maria's classes. They correct my postures and I feel so relaxing after their classes. I will keep going there until I can't move. read more

I took a Power Yoga class at Yogabliss while visiting family on Mercer Island and I can say that it was one of the best yoga classes I've ever taken. The studio was clean and beautiful, the instructor was great and led a challenging class. I encourage anyone who loves yoga to give this place a try! I had an incredible, full body workout. read more

I try to come in 6 times a week (at least for meditation), I am a big fan of their gentle and healing yoga practices as well as the yin. Yoga intimidated me at first but the staff at Yogabliss made me feel right at home. read more

This is the best yoga studio I've been to yet! As a fitness fanatic and personal trainer, I'm always conscious of how instruction is given. These instructors know their yoga. Unlike other yoga studios or fitness clubs with yoga classes, Yogabliss offers a variety of classes with expert instructors. So if you're not only interested in going through the motions or poses, but also interested in the why this is the place for you. Did you know there are 60 trillion cells in the human body? The temperatures in the classes are not unbearable like many of these new age hot yoga studios. So don't worry about sweating or getting up if you need to leave the room. No one will make you feel awkward or like you broke the yoga tradition. Everyone is super casual and your greatest competition is yourself...not the person next to you. I spoke with Maria, the owner, on my two month membership there. She's quite experienced and has been teaching on the Island for years. I can't emphasize enough that this place uses the best instructors that clearly did not get their education online. Great job Yogabliss. Now if only you would move to Southern California with me... read more

The thing I like best about this studio is that it has been very clean whenever I have been here. They frequently mop the floors. Plus they have a good variety of classes with helpful instructors! Its conveniently located - close to the bus stop and there is plenty of visitor parking as well. read more

Clean, spacious studio with good classes. Very professional and not smelly like some hot yoga studios. They also now have barre classes! It's easy to sign in once you've signed up. Good to go early to get space, sometimes the classes are quite full. They also have nice clean bathrooms and showers! read more

Not as happy as I was three years ago with this place seems it have become very uptight and difficult to work with. Perhaps it is just some members of their administrative staff that has brought in different vibe. read more

I really like this place. They make the whole experience relaxing from check-in to Namaste. Parking was easy, people are nice, everything was clean. read more

The website says the place closes at 7:30pm. I arrived at 6:30pm for the hot room class and the place is locked. Front desk is empty. There is another classroom with a yoga class. I kindly reminded the teacher to let me in. She kept ignoring me and eventually rudely tell me that I can't join after the classes started. This drastically contrasts with several yoga studio I visited before. First of all, front desk should never be empty without a "I'll be back soon" sign until closing time. Second, usually there is a cutoff time (like 5-10 mins after class start) after which the class is closed and it should be clearly stated somewhere. Third, the teacher's mannerism is disappointing and seems to create bad karma. The experience can't be farther from what I had from talking with a few yogis and gurus before. Because this seems to be the only yoga studio on the island, I probably don't have a choice and I'll give it one more chance. Overall my first experience with this place is quite negative and I can give it more than one star. read more

+1 star for having a pretty good yoga practice -- pretty good warmup and use of the hour and a half that I was in the power vinyasa class...so why only 2 stars? Read on! +1 star for location -- as the only well-established yoga studio on the island, they pretty much have a monopoly for yogis who are too lazy to drive off the island for their classes. The space itself is pretty nice too. -1 star for vibe of the studio and clientele. I mean, I know it's Mercer Island, so what can I really expect, right? But it seriously felt like I was walking into a yoga class with all the Stepford Wives and their best friends. I was literally the only person in the class not wearing something skintight from lululemon; leave the statement jewelry and 3 inch hoop earrings at home -- this is yoga class, not fashion school. Judging a business based on clientele could seem out of line but that's something that figures strongly into how I feel about yoga studios. Do I like the mix of people that I am sharing my practice with? Can I see myself fitting into this community? Meh. -1 star for totally distracting music. I know it was power vinyasa yoga but I really could have done without the crazy dubstep John Legend rave remixes. The classes here seem to emphasize yoga as a workout and less as an actual practice and it was hard to do simple things like focus on breathing when that stuff was pounding over the speakers. -1 star for an overall underwhelming experience here. The first class was free (thank goodness) but I paid $3 for a mat/towel rental. Considering the class was power vinyasa AND heated to the point where everyone was dripping all over themselves/their mats/their hardwood floors, it would have been nice to have something bigger than a washcloth. When I asked about towels/mat sprays after class, the instructor was pretty dismissive ("Do you see towels? Then no."). Everyone has different standards and expectations for yoga and while I could see this working for some people, I would gladly drive the extra 15 minutes plus 10 minutes finding parking to go to a slightly more pricey class at a well-loved studio in Cap Hill than return here again. read more

I love the hot yoga by candlelight. Great place to sweat on Sunday nights. I highly recommend this studio and staff is friendly.

Love the vibe here. Some yoga places can feel clicked and exclusive, not this place! My last class was with Sherah (hot fusion) and it was SO great. Thanks!! read more

tired the studio for a few weeks, the vibe seemed a bit sad. The tuition class I signed up for disappeared from their schedule without notification, reception girl was not informed about it, thou I could still find it in google. Got my schedule really confused. Bellevue studios are pretty close to Mercer Island and seemed to be more involved and dedicated to their clients. read more

I'd like to share about the massage therapist there, Bonnie, she is truly the best!!! Her massages are the perfect blend of relaxing and therapeutic.
