Being able to touch my toes This place has me converted from yoga videos at home to practicing yoga on a (real!) mat with (real!) people. I love that this place has a LOT of hardcore yoga people but in no way do they give off that vibe. There are so many classes at varying levels that you can challenge yourself to progress from hatha to hatha flow to power flow (or Andrew's wild thing wednesdays if you're pretty advanced OR an idiot like me who thought that was supposed to be an easy class...fyi, I survived but barely). They will also tell you that most classes are multilevel since you can always do modifications if you're just starting out...Don't be afraid to take it to the next level if you can. I love going to Chris, Karens, Nicole or Andrews classes. The good news? Not only can I touch my toes, I can freakin' do side planks and full pushups now! Six months ago, I would have told you that was crazy talk. There's still no way in hell I can do those pretzel-y poses but hey, it's a start.

Still, everyone was in good spirits and had a really warm, close-knit community feel. However, I think most of the time, the classes are much smaller from the conversations I heard from others. It had a different vibe from other studios I've been to where it was just go and do yoga and go home. Everyone seemed to know each other, and it was a nice change. Claudia, who runs the studio was very welcoming and friendly. I wasn't able to find any free parking in the area, but for those coming by the train would be convenient as it is right by Holdom station. There is no waiting area, so if you arrive early in the winter months, you can wait at the nearby Starbucks or Subway until your class time.

They aren't pushy about you purchasing anything but are really knowledgable if you have questions. The studio itself is very clean, the bathrooms are as well. The two owners are approachable and friendly, willing to have a quick chat but also content to just let you be. There's more than enough yoga supplies offered - mats, blocks, straps, bolsters and even supplies to whipe down the mats after class. The classes I've taken here don't use most of the props but it's nice to know that if the class dose start to need them I don't have to go buy my own. The late class on Tuesday is usually full or close to, I recomend saving a spot throught their website if your not close. The teacher is very knowlageable and she offers lots of way to make poses easier or harder so you never feel left out. There's usually some kind of tea on offer, it is a nice touch that most other studios I've been to don't offer. Sometimes it's odd sounding flavours but I haven't had anything that didn't taste good. The parking is weird, there's no times on the paid spots so you don't know if you need to pay to park all the time or not. There is free parking around but can be hard to find. There is also an underground parkade in the building but I don't know if it's paid or not (I'll update this if I find out)

The location is right by the beach and absolutely gorgeous. Lexi was very kind, sweet, and supportive. She made sure to answer all my questions before hand. When I lay on the table I immediately felt safe, I began to relax and felt like a huge weight was being lifted off of me. I could actually feel the heat coming from Lexi's hands and after our session, I felt totally relaxed, I felt like I could breathe so much deeper! I slept like a rock that night and since then have been feeling so much more optimistic, clearer and calmer.

I find I get charged for classes I was not even attending. You get a 20 charge if you don't cancel within 4 hours which for young families with kids that get sick , or if your sick it doesn't matter ... 20 bucks. and it's funny how it says in their policy that you should not attend class if you have a cough or a runny nose but yet a 20 buck charge to prevent getting others sick! So now there are sick people attending class. You could have Covid and they still charge you 20 bucks. The thought of sick people in studio is disturbing especially with going through a pandemic. I cancelled my membership because of this. But... they continued to charge my card after I left. I made the mistake of buying a punch pass for the one awesome instructor there and for some reason it won't let me book classes after dropping another 200 plus and it's asking me to pay again Omg. I have heard this from several other members as well. I don't normally write reviews. I used to love this studio. I had several of my friends join and they are leaving too.
