So I walked to go in and the door was locked. I went back to my car to sit down because I use a walker. Other people came to the door and they opened it. They called me to express that it was important that I arrive on time. When checked in at 9am no one told me they were behind schedule. After waiting until 9:20 am a young lady came other to get me. So I asked why her why wasn't I called at my scheduled time. The response wasn't what I expected since the other people were allowed in before 9am. So when asked why they were allowed in before 9am. I was told they had a 8:45am appointment. If my memory serves me correctly the office doesn't open until 9am. This why of customer service and favoritism is unprofessional.

But here, almost everything about this saga was a failure. After 2 failed attempts at making the glasses (that they blamed on the lab) and I still couldn't see, they wanted me to come back yet again and get another eye exam. I was not happy with my original Dr. to begin with (who I felt gave a minimal exam with minimal communication). I certainly did not want to repeat that experience. They said I could have a different Dr., but by then I had lost all confidence in this place. I have terminal cancer and can't keep going back. I asked to please get a refund as I had no confidence that this was ever going to turn out well. They gave me a partial refund after 1 month of my begging for it. But they still made me pay $514 dollars! Unbelievable!!

From the moment I walked through the door I felt welcome. The staff were smiling and did not permit anyone to walk through the door without a warm welcome. I felt at ease and confident that my eye exam would be completed timely without the pressures of adding on all the extras you are bothered with when you get a new pair of glasses and I was correct. My exam was quick and effortless. The tech was professional and appeared very competent in her role and she proved me correct. I knew my last prescription from last years exam from another optometrist was no longer working and between the tech and the optometrist my new prescription is perfect, I can see and can't wait for my new glasses. The optometrist was also very professional and competent. She fixed my prescription and I saw super clear it was a major difference for me and I am appreciative. The most fun part of going here was they provide you with a small basket and encourage to try on any pair of glasses and place them in the basket so at the end when it's time to check out, you'll be able to try them on with the tech. I love this because most places don't want you to remove the glasses from the wall and take them around the store with you, at least this has been my experience. The two young ladies helping me were sweet, cute and patient. I asked all types of questions and they never one time showed frustration. That's customer service! I just cannot get over all the smiling faces in this establishment, which is rare in most places you patronize these days. Thank you ABC&E. You'll be my new optometrist. By the way, the glasses are not super expensive, another plus. They also accepted both of my eye insurance plans, yet another plus. I can't say enough about the amazing experience I had today. I've been wearing eight year old glasses for 3 weeks... But if you didn't catch on the ridiculous part about this story is that I went to "AMERICAS" Best and they outsourced to mexico. WTF is going on??? I'm so damn irritated. All I needed was to exchange some inexpensive tubes for my service Dogs trailer. The were 20 dollars, they went flat after one use. When I originally purchased them, she sold me the wrong size, so I had to buy larger tires. They wrote me a receipt on the back of a piece of register paper, not sure why. I'm guessing that they were the crap tubes that they were just trying to get rid of. She explained, "they are thorn resistant, not thorn proof". That said, I just wanted better tubes for his trailer. I asked her if she would just credit me 20 towards purchasing a better inner tube product from there store, she said no ! I asked her if she was okay with losing a good customer over 20 dollars and stated that bad reviews can hurt a business. I have had jobs in my life, and reputation is everything !!!
