They recently moved to a new location, which is much smaller and tends to feel more crowded and congested, especially during busy hours. They've also had a lot of staff changes over time. On my last visit, I didn't recognize anyone, which was a bit disappointing because I used to really appreciate the familiar faces and the relationships we built over the years. There aren't as many glasses options anymore, especially when it comes to name-brand frames, and the turnaround time for glasses seems longer than it used to be. That said, they still move through appointments quickly and get you in and out. It's not quite the same experience I remember, but I still appreciate the years of service and hope it improves with time.

I arrived at my appointment a few minutes ahead of the scheduled time. There were SEVEN people waiting for their appointment outside in addition to myself and my husband, making it NINE people waiting to be seen. I asked how long the wait was and they said they were running about an hour behind. This was at 9:30 in the morning. My husband and I decided to leave because this is an unacceptable amount of time to wait. I decided to give them another chance because my husband's company is changing insurance and I wanted to have my eyes examined before the change. My appointment was at 12:00. When I arrived there were FIVE people waiting ahead of me in the waiting room. I was given some papers to fill out and asked to have a seat OUTSIDE. What?????? IT'S THE MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY. IT'S FRICKIN' COLD OUTSIDE!!!!! If someone has to wait outside it should be one of the five visible employees inside the office. Give them a laptop and send them out. They're the ones responsible for overbooking, not me. I asked how long the wait was going to be. I was told at least 30 minutes. Again, unacceptable. Again, I left without being seen. As a sidenote: I was notified three separate times with a request to confirm my appointment (which I did after the first notification). But no call to let me know they were running late. I had to juggle my schedule around to make time in the middle of the day to come to this appointment. The least they could do is be on time. I doubt that there are many emergencies that would account for the amount of time they run behind. ONLY GO TO THIS OPTOMETRIST IF YOU HAVE PLENTY OF TIME AND PATIENCE TO BURN!!!!!!

He is on social security disability and lives pay check to pay check the optometrist that helped us was every pushy to get his eye examination done because he was her last patient. I think its ethically wrong for a business to know he has this corneal edema that isnt stable (obviously because the prescription changes a significant amount every year) and not advise him agent getting glasses and spend his money just to take it he spent over 400 this past set on glasses for all the lenses comforts for disappointment because he can't wear them. We would have gone back sooner about this matter but I had to do a little more digging and advocating to see more what corneal edema was all about. They advise you ain't getting prescription glasses till you have had lest two consecutive optometrist visits of no change in your prescription to get prescription glasses.

They were able to squeeze us in, but it meant a longer wait because it was essentially double booked. The Dr was polite but didn't explain much. Even when asking questions about the process or prescription he wasn't very clear or direct. Picking out glasses was easy, staff were polite and helpful. I was a little surprised that they let us place the glasses back on the shelf after trying them on. The other place I go to would have you put them in a container so that they could sanitize them before putting them back. Glasses came when they said that they would and they were easy to pick up. They didn't offer any discounts or specials for buying things 100% out of pocket which would be nice. We'll come back here because of the insurance, but it's not my favorite eye place.

So I walked to go in and the door was locked. I went back to my car to sit down because I use a walker. Other people came to the door and they opened it. They called me to express that it was important that I arrive on time. When checked in at 9am no one told me they were behind schedule. After waiting until 9:20 am a young lady came other to get me. So I asked why her why wasn't I called at my scheduled time. The response wasn't what I expected since the other people were allowed in before 9am. So when asked why they were allowed in before 9am. I was told they had a 8:45am appointment. If my memory serves me correctly the office doesn't open until 9am. This why of customer service and favoritism is unprofessional.

I could only see at one distance with the bottom one and it was very, very limited. With the prescription I have now. I can see that and within a three foot range. I don't know what the deal was with this doctor but when I asked him if he could make my prescription like my old one. Which I had no problems with my frames just broke, he said no one's because we are getting old! How come I can see what these glasses just fine tgen? I didn't want to see him again since he made the mistake. In the evidently, i'm not so old that the other optometrist couldn't get it right. So I made an appointment with the different doctor.... He personally calls me the next day and says they don't want to deal with me at all refunding my prescription so I can go to a different doctor. I told him I did not want to argue with him. Just wanted to see someone else. But I guess if you don't see him there you don't get to see anyone. It was his mistake, not my mistake. I'm not a doctor but I wasn't going to argue with him about it. I know what I could see and when I couldn't see out of my new glasses. Why bother arguing? It's a nice office, and the process for the eye exam and all went well. It's the back log at the…read morelab, and other reasons you'll wait a while for your glasses. They tell you 'about 2 weeks'. I'm currently still waiting for my glasses 1 month and 1 week later. I'm even told (over the phone) that my glasses were there yesterday, but that I'm unable to pick them up until I receive a text. Still haven't received that text into the afternoon the next day now. There was a backlog originally from the manufacturer regarding the frames, and I have been calling to try to figure out the delay over this time. There were promises made of communications back with updates, but I received none. The last time the glasses took close to a month. Plan on that. Knowing my glasses have been at the office for over 24 hours now, and not receiving that text...hm.
