We did go to the back where horses, donkeys, wild turkeys, baby donkey & mama, lama, and sheep (at a far distance). A bit disappointed that the only water we saw for the beautiful horse was all dark brown and did not have clean water. Also, discouraged the horsey was on bare sun, how would you like to be in the sun all day like that David? I don't think you would enjoy it. We forgot our carrots that we prepared the previous night and David didn't offer any. We were done in 15 minutes and that was it. It would be nice to provide carrot for us to feed the animals when forgotten accidentally, even if we have to pay. Anyway we paid $30.00 and we didn't feel it was worth it for that amount for 15 minutes and horsey with dirty water...that's a no no. I have to rate this business a 2 One thing I did enjoy was the Communication with David. If I had a question he would respond within 5-10 minutes-that I give him props for.

We stopped here to wait out the rain on our way to Knott's Berry Farm, and it ended up being a perfect pit stop. There are so many hands-on activities for kids. One highlight was the theater and tech area, where kids can explore sound and camera equipment, that was especially cool. Another favorite was the live bee exhibit, where kids can put on a little bee keeper costume and go inside to learn about bees up close. Such a fun and unique experience! Overall, this was a really enjoyable visit, and we would definitely come back. It's a great stop if you're heading to Knott's, and with the Museums for All pricing, it's incredibly affordable. All of my guest were super uncomfortable it was embarrassing for me as a host to have everyone come to a party where it is almost 90 degrees inside. To top it off there was about 3 other parties & only ONE party host (employee) to help with all 4 parties. My party started at 4 I had guest who had arrived already & we're all waiting around for the kids game cards. We did not receive our game cards till about 420 bc the party host was super busy helping the other parties, getting anything took forever. Our party ran out of water & I asked for the water jug to be refilled & it took about 20 minutes to have refilled. I felt bad for the party host he was doing the best that he could, super unprofessional on management to not have more staff help with all of the parties they had booked. The employee that was explaining the laser tag rules was super RUDE, he asked do we have any birthdays today my 7 year old raised her hand & said me & the employee rudely goes we know it's your birthday. HOW RUDE! Why even ask that then. I was told this by multiple guests. The restroom disgusting! No soap just hand sanitizer. The laser tag room was even hotter. All of my guest came out dripping sweat that most of them didn't want to do the next round bc of how hot & uncomfortable everyone was. Super disappointing and embarrassing. The whole point of me booking a party was so that my guest would be inside and not hot during this summer heat wave. WOULD NEVER BOOK A PARTY OR COME HERE AGAIN.

Child Creativity Lab takes donated every day items (Lego pieces, empty prescription containers, bottle caps, buttons, wine corks, new popsicle sticks as well as excess items from various companies (excess fabric, plastic bottles, paint, pins, tacks, glue, zippers, etc.) and they put them together in a package so that kids can assemble them them and create a figure like a robot or animal out of all the parts. Before COVID they used to have in house workshops, but now they take the party out to the kids in city community centers, schools, etc. My friend planned a service event here so I came over to help out for a couple of hours. All the parts for the project were laid out at various stations and we went down like an assembly line and filled bags with the items to create a project-in-a-bag for each child. If I was a kid in elementary school receiving a project bag like this to put together with other classmates, I would be totally stoked. If you are interested in donating common household items for them to use, give them a call to see what they do and don't take. You can also arrange to do a service event here with your organization, they have people come in every week to help out. We need more places like this in all communities!

My toddler loves playing at Pretend City. We bought a membership and visited often over the summer…read more(on weekdays). It's well maintained and kept clean in the morning. There were times staff kept putting back toys so quickly and frequently I was getting annoyed (in my head) because I had to keep getting boats and fish back out for him in the water area. I love that they switch out the sensory items in the art room throughout the month so it's a different experience each visit. Their Wonder Lab area with painting was sooo fun! It's too bad it was only seasonal. My son loves all of it - harvesting fruits and veggies in the farm, pushing his own cart in Trader Joe's, cooking in the restaurant, etc. It is truly a great, fun space for kids. Once, the CEO played in the construction area with him for a few minutes - that impressed me. They also regularly have special event days with dance and music demonstrations, author read alouds, etc. Members Only hour is the best time to visit (they open an hour early). Once 10:00 hits, the floodgates open and it's gets substantially more crowded. With all that said, we visited on a recent Sunday afternoon - never again! Every exhibit was in total disarray (every single toy on the floor and rarely even in the right zone), older kids zooming around on kid cars like scooters, a child climbing the fake fountain in the center and standing at the top (where were the parents?! No staff member present either...it was really dangerous). I've never seen Pretend City look like that before but if that's what it was like on my first visit it would scare me away! There's lots of parking but mostly in the back lot. The front lot gets full fast and many spots are reserved for other businesses. You can bring your own food/drinks to eat in their Cafe area or purchase some from vending machines. Wish they sold coffee... Again, amazing spot and 5/5 on weekday mornings. 1/5 on weekend afternoons.
