He had indicated before $10.00 each adult and children over 3 years. If I hadn't said anything he would have over charged me. Our appt. Time was 11:45 am and we were on-time. It was a very hot day, 7/18/'24, 93 degrees. David walked us over to the small petting farm where we saw bunny rabbits, 1, 2, 3 and 4 year turtles. The mama turtles were in front yard and we didn't see any on our way in or way out, but discouraging. Also saw piggies here and lots of ducks. We did go to the back where horses, donkeys, wild turkeys, baby donkey & mama, lama, and sheep (at a far distance). A bit disappointed that the only water we saw for the beautiful horse was all dark brown and did not have clean water. Also, discouraged the horsey was on bare sun, how would you like to be in the sun all day like that David? I don't think you would enjoy it. We forgot our carrots that we prepared the previous night and David didn't offer any. We were done in 15 minutes and that was it. It would be nice to provide carrot for us to feed the animals when forgotten accidentally, even if we have to pay. Anyway we paid $30.00 and we didn't feel it was worth it for that amount for 15 minutes and horsey with dirty water...that's a no no. I have to rate this business a 2 One thing I did enjoy was the Communication with David. If I had a question he would respond within 5-10 minutes-that I give him props for.

The dinosaur by the entrance was one of our favorites--my nephew loved it so much and was excited the whole time. One of the best parts was the stage and dress-up theater section. It was so engaging for the kids! They got to play, pretend, and really use their imagination. It was fun watching them interact, perform, and just be themselves. I also liked how social it was for children. Kids were playing together, sharing, and exploring as a group, which made the experience even better. It's not just fun, but also a great place for kids to build confidence and connect with others. Overall, such a fun and memorable day. Definitely a great spot for families with kids! They do close at 4:00 PM, which feels a little early, but the museum isn't very large, so you can comfortably experience a lot in a couple of hours, which is exactly what we did. We stopped here to wait out the rain on our way to Knott's Berry Farm, and it ended up being a perfect pit stop. There are so many hands-on activities for kids. One highlight was the theater and tech area, where kids can explore sound and camera equipment, that was especially cool. Another favorite was the live bee exhibit, where kids can put on a little bee keeper costume and go inside to learn about bees up close. Such a fun and unique experience! Overall, this was a really enjoyable visit, and we would definitely come back. It's a great stop if you're heading to Knott's, and with the Museums for All pricing, it's incredibly affordable. Highly recommend!

Make sure your whole group is together before start time so you all play at the same time and no one misses out. Our group was a bunch of 5/6/7 year olds and the group they played against was 10-12 year olds so I felt like that was a little unfair but no one got seriously hurt so that's all you can ask for. My least favorite part was the arcade. Some of the games weren't working so that's a bust. Our kids were too young to use the VR game so it would have been nice if they got to ride the bumper cars twice instead of just losing out on that. On top of that there was only one person staffing the VR game, the mini bowling and the bumper cars so it was like 10-15 minutes between each option and there were only maybe 8 bumper cars so when there's a line the kids had to wait about 20 minutes just to ride the bumper cars. There were lines for the bumper cars and the VR so no one used the bowling because there wasn't enough staff. The pizza was fine, I believe you can order other stuff outside the party pizza if you want.

I don't feel like it's kept as clean as it was when it opened, I used to see the staff constantly cleaning. It's a bit pricey but during the week you can leave and come back so I'm ok with the price. The most recent and biggest problem for me was going the other day to meet a friend and paying full price a little at right about 2:30pm and when I asked for the hand stamp to go get my son dinner around 4:50 being informed they were closing 3 hours early(5pm). After I thought about it I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one on site but they would leave a message for them to call me over the weekend but had I come in 2hours(so at 3pm) prior to closing they would have informed me they were closing early and still charging full price and there was nothing they could do. I asked to have a manager contact me, I would have rather discussed my issues with them directly but unfortunately they never contacted me. It's unfortunate because my son does love this place but I don't like the feeling of being ripped off. You're charging people full price and then closing early to make more money off of events.

I ended up not purchasing the 10 visit pass because of the restrictions which was disappointing. This location is older and smaller than Brea, but it was still a nice visit. My daughter had a great time and I think that this location offers a more laid back vibe with less crowds. I still think Brea has the superior atmosphere and amenities however.

The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. Child Creativity Lab takes donated every day items (Lego pieces, empty prescription containers, bottle caps, buttons, wine corks, new popsicle sticks as well as excess items from various companies (excess fabric, plastic bottles, paint, pins, tacks, glue, zippers, etc.) and they put them together in a package so that kids can assemble them them and create a figure like a robot or animal out of all the parts. Before COVID they used to have in house workshops, but now they take the party out to the kids in city community centers, schools, etc. My friend planned a service event here so I came over to help out for a couple of hours. All the parts for the project were laid out at various stations and we went down like an assembly line and filled bags with the items to create a project-in-a-bag for each child. If I was a kid in elementary school receiving a project bag like this to put together with other classmates, I would be totally stoked. If you are interested in donating common household items for them to use, give them a call to see what they do and don't take. You can also arrange to do a service event here with your organization, they have people come in every week to help out. We need more places like this in all communities!

There were a lot of different areas but it was hard for my daughter to actually do anything because the areas were packed and a lot of the items were missing from the areas due to kids moving them around. That's understandable -kids will be kids- but because there were so many kids the staff couldn't keep up with putting the items back in the designated areas. For example, we went to the "mail room" there was literally no mail in it. We went to the tool/building area and there were literally no tools and not enough building materials to build anything. This was pretty much every area we went to. The amount of kids also made it super overstimulating for my daughter. Normally when we go to these kinds of places it's calm and she is actually able to learn, play, interact etc. Lastly, it's expensive. Normally when we go to these kinds of places an adult is included when paying for a child to enter. Here, you have to pay for an adult and child ticket - so it was 44$ for the both of us. Totally not worth the price when it is so overrun.
