My daughter has been at WUMP for 2 years and is leaving soon for kindergarten. I toured 6 schools in Diamond Bar and Walnut and ultimately chose WUMP. It was my child's first time in preschool and I was very nervous for the transition. However, the tenured teachers made my daughter's transition to school smooth. We love all the teachers there, to name a few Ms Elizabeth, Ms Jackie, Ms Debbie, Ms Joanna, Ms Nicole...WUMP has the lowest student to teacher ratio of any school I toured which gives the teachers the ability to learn and bond with each student. In the 3 year class, there were 2 teachers to 14 students and 3 teachers to 24 students in the 4/5 year old class. My daughter blossomed in the last 2 years developing friendships, social, and academic skills. I love the school's location with the large, mostly shaded playground in comparison to other schools that were either facing a main street or were in commercial buildings. WUMP is the hidden gem that I discovered by word of mouth and I highly recommend it!

She creates a warm and welcoming environment where my girls feel safe and supported. One thing we especially appreciate is her excellent communication with us. Ms. Ana is very responsive through WeChat; she provides us peace of mind when we have any questions regarding our kids. Ms Shiela was excellent in introducing both my daughters to writing/math/reading at the beginning of the year. She was able to identify different needs for each of my daughters and created a plan for us to follow at home to reinforce what was being taught at school. The time I had with Ms Shiela in the teacher parent meetings showed me that she really cared about her students and treated them as if they were her own. I am so impressed with my daughters' growth throughout the year; seeing the work they did in class and also the activities they have and are doing now at home is just amazing. We are so grateful to have had Ms. Ana and Ms. Shiela take care of and teach our kids. Ms Ana and Ms Shiela's kindness, patience, and dedication are qualities that every parent hopes to encounter on the first day of school.

Ms. Haley is the teacher who helped my daughter achieve a breakthrough in learning her letter sounds and number fundamentals. She is energetic, creative, and makes learning so much fun that even my husband and I wish we could be students in her class! She has a special gift for challenging each child while supporting them in their own unique way. Homework became a positive part of our routine because she always made sure my daughter was learning, growing, and being appropriately challenged. Her curriculum and classroom activities are engaging, thoughtful, and fun. Simply put, she is truly one of the best teachers we have ever met. Ms. Emily is the most patient and loving teacher. She has such a gentle and effective way of teaching discipline, manners, and positive behavior. Rather than simply telling children what not to do, she helps them understand right from wrong in a caring and respectful way. Her kindness and creativity shine through in everything she does. Ms. Andrea has left a lasting impression on our family. Thanks to her, our household will forever know how to sing the table manners song! She has a wonderful ability to turn lessons and nursery rhymes into daily habits that children can carry with them beyond the classroom. Together, these teachers create the perfect balance of nurturing, encouragement, structure, and learning. They have built an environment where children can thrive and grow at their own pace while feeling loved and supported every step of the way. We will miss them so much and already look forward to our second child having the opportunity to learn from them one day. We also cannot forget Room 2 and the amazing Ms. Cecilia, Ms. Ellie, and Ms. Griselda. They were my daughter's very first teachers and helped her learn boundaries, social skills, and independence while showering her with love and care. Anyone who works with two-year-olds deserves special recognition, and these teachers have endless patience and dedication. They are simply the best. We also cannot forget about Ms Reyna! She was the one providing comfort to during her first few weeks of transitioning. Our daughter has truly thrived here and has learned so much. We are incredibly grateful for all of these wonderful teachers and the impact they have had on our family. You simply can't go wrong with any of them!

Our oldest daughter started here when she was just two and a half, and now our second daughter has gone through the same journey -- and we're already excited to send our youngest soon! What makes Kid Junction so special is the people. Every teacher pours so much love, time, and intention into the kids. They create fun, hands-on activities, celebrate holidays with so much joy, and keep parents updated every step of the way. You can tell this is a place where faith and care guide everything they do. Both of our girls had Miss Sandy, who is truly the best person to care for 2-year-olds -- patient, nurturing, and full of joy. Then they had Miss Susan, who is the sweetest! She helps build confidence in each child and makes every day special (my daughter loves when she pulls out her spray bottle and hair ties to give her a cute little hairstyle!). We also adore Miss Eileen, who does a wonderful job preparing the kids for Kinder she's a TK teacher -- she's caring, creative, and the children can't wait to be in her class. And Miss Belinda made those early toddler days so special with fun morning activities that set the tone for a happy day. We loved it so much that we decided to keep our daughters here for TK instead of going to elementary because we knew they would get the care and elevated education prior to going to Kinder. My daughters assessment going into kindergarten, she scored very high on the skills for this grade. It was an easy transition and she thought kinder was too easy she kept asking for more hw!! And holding it all together is Miss Clara, director -- she has the most tender heart and genuine love for children. We've known her for five years now, and her care shines through in everything she does -- her communication, the way she supports the teachers, and the way she continues to check in and send us updates. Overall I'm always blown away how clean everything is! So organized and clean which demonstrates the teachers diligence in providing a safe and modeled classroom. We are so thankful for Kid Junction. It's more than just a preschool -- it's a loving, faith-filled community that feels like family.

Ms. Susan was absolutely wonderful and played a huge role in helping my daughter become potty trained much quicker than we expected. She was patient, encouraging, and made the process so much easier for both my daughter and our family. When my daughter turned 3, she moved into Room 5 with Ms. Lily. Like many parents, I was nervous about the transition, but Ms. Lily made it such a positive experience. The Montessori method of teaching really helped my kid develop into her own. She was encouraged and challenged and is now ready to enter 1st grade confidently, ready to make mistakes and learn from them, thanks to the teachers and staff at MOW. We've been driving from Chino to Walnut, which is in the opposite direction of work just because the preschool and kindergarten experience has be well worth it. The extracurricular classes (for an additional fee) at the school makes it convenient for us as parents to have her exposed to Spanish, Keyboard, Sports and of course the dance classes that she gets to boogie down to. During the summer, she gets swimming classes on campus which is so convenient! The pool is gated and classes are limited to 2-3 students per session. The director of the school, Ms Lauren is incredibly sweet and down to earth. Her genuine care for her students truly emanates from her. Truly can't thank the entire staff at Montessori of Walnut for all of the support and growth of our big kid.

The teachers and staff are incredibly professional, caring, and respectful. It's obvious they genuinely care about each child and create a warm, welcoming environment every day. The facility is always spotless, well organized, and you can tell they take great pride in maintaining a safe and clean space for the kids. One thing that really sets Montessori of Walnut apart is everything they offer beyond the classroom. They have on-campus swimming with a certified instructor who also offers private lessons, fun themed events throughout the year, guest speakers, and so many engaging extracurricular activities that keep the children excited and learning in new ways. Most importantly, our kids absolutely love going to school every morning. They've learned so much over the past two years, and it's been amazing to watch their confidence and independence grow. The teachers are currently helping our oldest with potty training, and they've been incredibly patient, supportive, and consistent throughout the process. Another thing we appreciate is the location. It's tucked away from busy streets and public traffic, which gives it a quiet, safe, and peaceful feel that's perfect for young children. Choosing a preschool is a big decision for any parent, and we're so thankful we found Montessori of Walnut.
