I've been to a lot of daycares for my two previous children and what impresses me the most about Ms. Nguyen is the amount of communication she gives to the parents. This is the first time where I get daily updates and know that Adriana is doing an amazing job and where she could be improving on. Adriana loves everyday that she spends here and I totally recommend this daycare for anyone that wants to see their child grow. Ms. Nguyen is an amazing teacher and definitely has that passion.

I'm very happy to write this review to support Ms. Nguyen and her daycare. I took my son and daughter (3 years old) here and both blended into the group very quick. Even tho it's a short stay, I'm extremely happy with the amount of activities she prepared for the kids. She integrates art and play into the learning and socialization. My twins would tell me what they did that day which makes me really happy as a parent. I've visited many other home daycares before and I've seen and heard a lot of them say that the kids just sit around and do nothing. Ms. Nguyen always goes above and beyond which makes me so happy to support her as well. If you're looking for an amazing daycare, this could be the place for you!

If they had been able to add second grade, we would have stayed longer. My previous comments about the school still stand true, but after almost two years I've seen even more accomplishments. I'm so proud of the growth and progress I've seen from her, in the pride she takes in her work and how much she enjoys being a leader. Her teacher, Mrs. Quintero, fostered those traits in her. I see how cherished my child and her classmates are here. My daughter is reading on her own, does math without even realizing it, and has gained many more life skills and good habits. Thank you to all the teachers (guides) and staff here for making the last two years a joy. Be prepared for us to visit!

My son attended LiMai for a little over a year. During that time, the only feedback we consistently…read morereceived from his teacher, Ms. Gabriel, was that he was popular with classmates and very bright--consistent with our observations at home. However, one morning I was called in an hour after dropping my son off and informed that my 4-year-old was being suspended for two days due to rough play (scratching and pinching) that had occurred over the previous week--not that day. This came as a surprise, as they only mentioned anything to me 1 hour earlier at drop-off & they seemed content that we would talk to him about his behavior after school. They had him 100% of the time between informing me & then suspending him, and he behaved during that time. Additionally, one of the front office directors, Ms. Quintero, put on a show of scolding him publicly on his way out--right in front of the other child's mother, without introducing her. While I don't doubt he was testing boundaries through rough play, we were caught off guard by the lack of communication and sudden escalation. A simple conversation beforehand would have aligned more closely with common-sense approaches and even LiMai's own disciplinary policy, which outlines progressive steps before suspension. It appeared they bypassed their own protocol and instead took a more reactive, punitive approach. (LiMai's disciplinary policy at the time was 1st offense: speak with parent, 2nd offense: leave home for the day, 3rd offense: 1 day suspension, 4th offense: termination). What's more troubling is that this incident revealed larger concerns. It became clear that supervision may not have been consistent in real-time, and we were left questioning how long inappropriate behavior had gone unchecked. During the suspension, we made the decision to transfer our son to another local Montessori. There, we discovered he was slightly behind peers in key areas like writing and math skills--despite being told he was doing well at LiMai. We later learned from LiMai's staff that the disciplinary decision was not universally supported and was pushed forward primarily by the owner to appease the other parent. In short, our experience with LiMai included a lack of proactive communication, inconsistent discipline, and shortcomings in academic instruction. I do appreciate the courteous front office secretary and the sincere apologies we received from some of the staff. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for their deeper issues. Of the three Montessoris we've had experience with in Diamond Bar, LiMai was the worst.

The more time I have spent at my current daycare, I realize how sad I feel when I reflect back on when he was going here. This daycare is not nearly as warm as the daycare where my son spent his last 2 years. I remember when we first dropped off my son at this daycare, he was so scared and would cry a lot from the anxiety of leaving his parents. One of the suggestions that Ms. Toni said was not to carry him into the daycare and let him walk in. I'm not sure if this advise was to maybe make him less scared, but when I think back on that advise and how small my son was back then, it really makes me mad to even think that I took that advise as helpful. At 2 years old, a parent should definitely not feel like they can't carry their scared son into their first daycare. I also remember Ms. Toni commented that my son was constantly wanting to sit on Ms. Kat's lap and that she couldn't have him do that so often. When I see the kids in my current daycare, kids are on the laps of the teachers all the time and all day, especially if they need some comfort since they are showing anxiety being away from their parents. This school was so callous compared to the school that my son is currently at and I remember how scared he always felt when going there, which makes me sad and the reason why I'm writing a 2nd review. I also mentioned in an earlier review that I hated dropping off my son in the morning due to one of the teachers (Ms. Wafaa). She was always so rude to me, which made me worry about my son having to spend the morning with her. I hope she's no longer there, but if she is, she really needs to improve her demeanor. It's always hard to know how bad someplace is until you leave and go someplace else, so I'm glad we only stayed here for one year.

White glove service, safe, clean environment for children to THRIVE! Run, don't walk. Teachers are caring, gentle, and incredibly patient. The owner, Mrs Tina, really has an eye for hiring the right person for the right age group. The staff is warm, diverse (Mandarin and Spanish speaking), and attentive to the children's needs. More importantly, the parents needs :) Many of the staff have been here for over a decade. We saw many times, staff being promoted from within, uplifting the community. Updates: Phone App with pictures of what your child is up to, what they ate, how long they slept. You can call and speak with your child's teacher incase you forgot something. The owner and School director are ALWAYS available for any concerns, and address them immediately. Understandably, there is no remote access to cameras for others privacy, but you can sit in the office and watch the screen all day if you wish. Yelp: There was a child who was injured a few weeks after we started. Concerning. We were second guessing our decision to send our kids here. Naturally, we went and spoke with the director for clarity. She was very transparent, while respecting the child's identity and privacy. We never got the feeling like she was making excuses or hiding anything. We then saw the director and administrators going over the playground with a fine tooth comb to see where padding and barriers could be added to improve safety. The owner had a whole construction crew out there the next day improving the hard scape! Tea: There were a group of HOA karen type moms who tried to organize a mass exodus bc their unreasonable demands were not acquiesced. Extreme. Honeys, you're gorgeous, chill on the botox... They made a whole face book group trashing the school. As usual, Mrs Tina went above and beyond w accommodations, but nothings ever good enough. Hire an au pair. Extra: No expenses are spared for activities. Reptiles, magic shows, characters, face painting, bounce house, bubble party, color fight (Holi), water play, what did i miss? Who does this?? The end of year parties are a whole production... Academics: They regularly survey the local schools for proficiency levels, and adjust the curriculum. By the time your kids go to primary school, they will be far ahead of the pack. Owner: Mrs Tina can easily run an investment bank, yet she CHOOSES this torture. Think the tuition is expensive? 30 people on payroll, rent/CAM, repairs, taxes, food to feed 100+ kids, insurance, licensing, compliance, in California. I often wonder how shes making money at all?
