Our oldest daughter started here when she was just two and a half, and now our second daughter has gone through the same journey -- and we're already excited to send our youngest soon! What makes Kid Junction so special is the people. Every teacher pours so much love, time, and intention into the kids. They create fun, hands-on activities, celebrate holidays with so much joy, and keep parents updated every step of the way. You can tell this is a place where faith and care guide everything they do. Both of our girls had Miss Sandy, who is truly the best person to care for 2-year-olds -- patient, nurturing, and full of joy. Then they had Miss Susan, who is the sweetest! She helps build confidence in each child and makes every day special (my daughter loves when she pulls out her spray bottle and hair ties to give her a cute little hairstyle!). We also adore Miss Eileen, who does a wonderful job preparing the kids for Kinder she's a TK teacher -- she's caring, creative, and the children can't wait to be in her class. And Miss Belinda made those early toddler days so special with fun morning activities that set the tone for a happy day. We loved it so much that we decided to keep our daughters here for TK instead of going to elementary because we knew they would get the care and elevated education prior to going to Kinder. My daughters assessment going into kindergarten, she scored very high on the skills for this grade. It was an easy transition and she thought kinder was too easy she kept asking for more hw!! And holding it all together is Miss Clara, director -- she has the most tender heart and genuine love for children. We've known her for five years now, and her care shines through in everything she does -- her communication, the way she supports the teachers, and the way she continues to check in and send us updates. Overall I'm always blown away how clean everything is! So organized and clean which demonstrates the teachers diligence in providing a safe and modeled classroom. We are so thankful for Kid Junction. After a month, we were unhappy with the private school's child care program and switched him to Kid Junction. Although Kid Junction is further away from our home and we have to drive to 2 schools, we still chose Kid Junction for our youngest son. When I first stepped into Kid Junction, I just felt like it was the type of place that gave genuine kindness and care. This was even before we found out several friends and coworkers had their kids attend and love the school. All the instructors including Mrs. Clara, Ms Sandy, Ms Belinda, and Ms Susan have been wonderful in helping our son to develop and grow into the kid he is now. He started out as a shy toddler then blossomed in to a confident kid under their guidance. He would come home wanting to share all the fun facts and songs he learned. In general, he just loved sharing everything he did because they created a safe space for him to feel comfortable. He looked forward to going to school and would have a big smile on his face when we picked him up. Seeing him happy from the start of his day to the end of his day made us happy. This review is long overdue and I don't even know where to start. We have been at Kid Junction since 2022 (ever since our daughter turned 2 years old). Prior to sending our daughter here, I reached out to various daycares/schools but Kid Junction stood out to me for so many different reasons. First off, Ms. Clara was so responsive and helpful when answering all my questions (I was a new mom feeling so anxious about sending my daughter anywhere so I truly appreciated Ms. Clara answering all of my questions and never making me feel like I was bothering her) When I toured Kid Junction, the teachers did not seem burned out (like they did at other places I toured) and everyone seemed genuinely nice. In addition, there was not a high staff turnover. All of the kids also seemed truly happy and engaged in the classroom activities facilitated by the teachers. Lastly, Kid Junction was so accommodating with anything our daughter needed to ease the transition (e.g., allowing her to bring her own lunch/snacks, a bottle if needed for nap time, a transition toy to bring with her) and also accepting her even though she was not toilet trained at the time. All of these variables made Kid Junction stand out from the other daycares that we toured. That was a little over 3 years ago and I'm so sad that our daughter will be leaving Kid Junction in a few weeks as she moves onto Kindergarten. Over the past three years, I have watched our daughter grow into such a confident, friendly, caring, and smart five year old thanks to Kid Junction. I'm so grateful for all of the staff that have cultivated these characteristics that will help our daughter thrive as she moves onto Kindergarten. Over the past three years, our daughter has truly enjoyed coming here and being part of this little community. She regularly tells me about the things she learns and shares all the fun things they do throughout the day. Throughout the year, she would regularly bring home art, complete various academic worksheets, learn songs, and participate in additional hands on activities (e.g., cooking, releasing butterflies, growing plants). They also had so many fun activities throughout the year (e.g., ice cream truck visit during the summer, inflatable jumper, puppet show visit, water play days) and an annual Christmas performance I would always look forward to. I'm so sad that our daughter will be saying goodbye to Kid Junction in a few weeks but so grateful for all of her memories here. I didnt realize how unhappy my daughter was at her prior school until she was transferred to kid junction. I thought what she was having was normal for her age. But as soon as she was sent to this school she immediately fell in love with alll teachers. She has been SOOO happy!! Kid Junction was recommended to us by a trusted neighbor who said he heard good things from a church friend. We enrolled our son 2 years ago and this week will be his last week before he moves onto TK. We had such a good experience with the school that we decided instead of moving our daughter to another school that is closer to his TK, we would rather spend the extra time driving in the opposite direction to keep her here. My son had a lot of separation anxiety when he first started but Mrs. Sandy and Mrs. Clara were so patient and kind and helped him feel comfortable quickly (about 2 weeks). Mrs. Clara even spent extra 1:1 time with him in the early days to help him feel more comfortable and ease him into his new reality. He soon loved school. Mrs Clara is also great about updating you throughout the day with photos and videos of your child's activities. I always enjoy getting the pics/videos and my kids (who are super chatty) love to see the pics and tell me in detail about their day or what they're doing in the pic/video. We have seen our son transform from a shy, nervous boy into a more confident one. From the stage fright he showed during Christmas performance to confidently dancing and and singing at graduation. Screen time: the toddler classroom was having a "screen time" during our visit, all they had was a small tiny iPhone in a ziplock bag taped up on the board for those poor kids to watch...this place charge nearly $1000/mo per kid for full time and they can't even afford a proper Screen? It is always a little scary sending your child to school for the first time at such a young age, but we are so glad we chose Kid Junction! Prior to coming to this school, our son struggled with communication and did not really know much besides his basic shapes, colors and the alphabet. The director, Ms. Clara, and staff are the kindest and sweetest. We toured and inquired over 8 different daycare/ preschools / Montessori schools and we felt that Kid Junction was the perfect fit. We LOVE Kid Junction! Prior to Kid Junction, my son was in a home daycare full time but when the time came to enroll him in preschool, it was an easy decision to place him at Kid Junction. I had originally thought I wanted to enroll my son in public Pre-school but I was having difficulty navigating after school care in my local district at the time. I had my doubts so in exploring alternative options, I looked into Kid Junction because my niece, sister, and nephew attended Kid Junction from toddler age until they moved onto Kindergarten over 10 years ago! IN fact, the teacher at the time who had worked there for many many years remembered them fondly. That was a really nice thing to hear. That's how long Kid Junction has been going strong! I called the Director Mrs. Clara to understand their pricing and hours and she was lovely to interact with. I felt really good about it and actually told her I would like to enroll my son before I even took a tour. She encouraged me to bring my son and tour the school nonetheless. Everything was well organized and I could tell my son had a good feeling about it too. We enrolled him to start in a few weeks. My sons first day was GREAT! He willingly walked into the school without hesitation. The second day, however, he realized day one was not temporary and wouldn't get out of the car. Mrs. Clara, the Director, swiftly came to support me and gracefully pulled my son out of the care and immediately took him in to comfort him. Amazing school with the best teachers! My niece attended this school from age 3-4 for preschool and Pre-K. She started public school kindergarten this year and still cannot stop talking about how much fun she had in preschool and how much she misses Ms. Valerie. The things she learned (shapes, counting, songs, alphabet, and so much more!) really gave her a head start with Kindergarten. She took her Kindergarten assessment today and passed the entire year's curriculum with flying colors. All due to the dedicated teaching she received from this preschool. When the Covid outbreaks happened in March, the teachers went above and beyond with the use of face shields for the kids (decorated in stickers no less!) and appropriate safety measures. My two kids attended Kid Junction for the last 3 years. My daughter graduated from KJ 2 years ago and we're sad to be leaving this wonderful school now that my son is ready to start K in a couple weeks. Even after my daughter's been out of KJ for the last 2 years, she wanted to come back to KJ instead of going to summer camps. She says 'teachers are so nice and we learn in fun ways'. Mrs. Clara, the director, is one of the most dedicated teachers I've ever met. She is at the school before your kid gets there and stays after your kid leaves, which is unlike other places where the director is hardly present and simply has the employees/teacher running the school. Mrs. Clara knows each kid so well, and she is attentive to parents' concerns and fully addresses them. Additionally, she sends updates throughout the week by sending lots of pictures and videos. Not only did my kids learn so much through endless fun activities, but they also built wonderful friendships and made lots of long lasting memories. We're grateful that my kids matured into little human beings who are well prepared to start big kid school. Most importantly, my kids were truly cared for and loved at this school. We LOVE Kid Junction!!! My 12 year old boy graduated from Kid Junction 7 years ago and had great memories from the school. He loved to read, enjoyed outdoor soccer time with Mr James when it's was not hot in the afternoon. Mrs Sandy and Mrs Valerie were such professional and patient teachers! My 5 years old little one graduated from Kid Junction yesterday as well. We had him at a Montessori school closer to our house before pandemic, but he still didn't fit himself in the school after two months there. He struggled to go to school everyday, so we decided to put him Kid Junction for a try. Surprisingly he loved it so much at Kid Junction from the first day. I think the rainbow color playground attracted him the most. As parents we feel the school is secured because it's double gated and the teachers look out the school very closely. They recognize almost all parents' cars and will release the students accordingly. We feel very comfortable with the teachers especially Mrs Clara. Three years ago, my daughter started attending Kid Junction, we were so grateful that we found this school that's perfect for her. Miss Clara and Miss Sandy and all other staffs are very nice and encouraging. All the teachers of the school recognize my daughter and her caregiver. I could feel that they all care about my child. The directors are always there to help you with anything and open to hear out any concerns (which I never had, honestly!). The preschool teaches Christian values, which all staff truly embodies. It's hilarious to hear my kids singing at the top of their lungs while changing into pajamas in their room "Jesus Loves Me This I Know". Instead of songs that I listen to, like pop or rock music, and introduce to them, they always head back to the kids Bible songs. You can't go against God's will! Lol Price. One that parents look for that will be reasonable and in their range of affordability. The school is not overpriced like some day care/preschools in the area. You can pack your child's lunch or purchase the school lunch. They provide snacks in the morning and afternoon. You do need to supply the diapers (if needed), wipes, crib sheet & blanket. The school is open 7 am to 6:30 pm. Long day for the teachers. Another reason to be thankful for their patience and love. We have met people who would say they sent their little ones to Kid Junction years ago and loved it. A neighbor at a party. A AAA agent on the phone when we called in for a tow. A parent at a dentist office. Kid Junction has a far reach of how many people they have affected in such a positive way. Best preschool!!!! My child attended another school before and I had REALLY REALLY bad experience. So I had to find another preschool and finally I found one is Kid Junction. We love kid junction! My 2 year old daughter started 2 months ago and I was the nervous one because my daughter assimilated well! Overall, the school provides great care and academics for the little ones. I have been to many different preschools to decide which would be the best fit for my child. KJ = best option! In my opinion, one of the most crucial factors in selecting a preschool is the quality teachers, and at KJ the teachers are exceptional- devoted, attentive and responsible. Whether or not you like this school depends on your priorities. If you would like your children to go to a Christian daycare that has some educational components, this might be a good choice for you. If you would like your children to go to an actual educational pre-school or kindergarten with some Christian foundation, this might not be a good choice for you. There are some really sweet and caring instructors, but I can't say they are teachers as much as supportive day care staff. There are also a few staff that do not seem to handle the stress and pressure of caring for little ones well. I sympathize since just handling three little ones is tough, so a larger group is my worst nightmare. If you don't have extreme patience and deeply embedded kindness, this might not be the job for you. I am not sure if this has to do with some previous incidents or even lawsuits, but the kids are really restrained from most physical activities on the playground. I am not sure what the purpose of a playground is if children are not allowed to explore the playground. Young children have a great deal of energy and need some physical activity and free play to exhort that energy. If your playground is not safe, then make changes so children can play hard. If you don't have enough supervisory staff, then hire some. The administration/owners do not speak clear English and do interact with parents and children a great deal. If you are teaching/educating children, it would be best to model appropriate English skills and grammar. If you are speaking to me in broken or improper English, I am guessing that is what you are teaching these children as well. If you are primarily teaching a bi-lingual class or ESL class, I would be more forgiving but this is not the case. The administration/owners are also disorganized and lack leadership skills. This is seen at many of the activities on site and their holiday/graduation performances. The administrators/owners are unable to provide simple structure and organization, which leads to unruly parents and guests creating an unsafe environment. Again, if they have such difficulty during these moments it leads me to believe they are also modeling this to the children. Demanding children be "good Christian soldiers" is really an insufficient way to lead and foster these young minds. My final comment is on the lack of a true academic curriculum. In promotional material, this day care boasts a strong academic foundation that is superior to what the school district offers for pre-K and Kindergarten. If this is true, why do many of Kid Junction Kindergarten graduates have to repeat Kindergarten in the public school setting*? There have been many examples of Kid Junction graduates failing the district placement test for first grade, causing them to repeat Kindergarten. If the academic curriculum was a strong as advertised, this would not be a harsh situation faced by many families. I have also observed a disparity in support and treatment for different students. Kid Junction lacks a balance of fair treatment and equal support of all students. I am not sure all the parents are able to spend time at Kid Junction or closely observe the students and staff at events to notice, but I do feel badly for those students and families that do not receive the level of academic support, assistance and fostering that should be received at these critical stages of development for these young minds. I agree that strong students should be encouraged and challenged, but there is no justification to neglect those students who are not stellar or need additional assistance to perform at anticipated age/grade levels. *To clarify this information based on a comment from one of the administrators... the State of California allows individual school districts to permit early admission for under age children who may have missed the newer guidelines for birth date designations to enroll. This would apply for a 5 year old who has a birthday after September 1 who could possibly enroll in Kindergarten or a 6 year old who has a birthday after September 1 who could possibly enroll in the First grade. Walnut Valley Unified School District provides an academic assessment test to determine readiness and placement for these students. Several children who successfully completed kindergarten at Kid Junction (who self-proclaims a superior academic foundation to public school Kindergarten) were not found to be proficient to join their peers in first grade and were placed into Kindergarten for a second year this time in the public school environment. This seems to show that the Kindergarten education they received at Kid Junction did not adequately prepare these students academically for first grade readiness standards. read more

My husband and I were VERY hesitate to leave our two year old boy/girl twins at a daycare. They have never had anyone besides one of us watch them. But we knew it was time to reach out for help. This was the BEST decision we could have made for them. The school director Clara is amazing, she cares for her students and it shows. The twins teacher Sandy is nurturing, patient and quickly learned our kids personality. Our son is reserved, shy, does not open up easily to strangers. He LOVES the teachers here. We instantly saw changes in them for the better, they are more social, they speak words that I've never heard them say before, they are following instructions better at home. If you are looking for a daycare that is affordable that will give you piece of mind while you are away from your kids. I highly recommend Kid Junction. read more

We have been here since we were 2 and it's now time to part but will always be grateful for all the wonderful memories and learning lessons they have taught my Lil guy. It took me about 5 tours to different pre-school before I finally decided to send my daughter to Kid Junction back in July. The pre-schools i've toured around walnut was so packed that their ratio is about 16 kids : 1 teacher. When my daughter joined Kid Junction, there were about 7:1 in terms of ratio and that's probably what completed my decision. Mrs. Clara on the other hand was very sweet and kind. She answered all my questions, gave me all necessary documents and gave me time to decide. When my daughter was struggling in detaching herself from us, Mrs. Clara suggested so many ways for us to easily transition my daughter and for her to not feel stressed out during the first week. After two weeks, she finally bids goodbye and doesn't cry anymore. She was just so excited to go to school and so ready to learn a lot of things! She made progress just even after a few months and she's more talkative and able to complete at least one sentence when talking at the age of 3. Really recommend sending your kids here! read more
