My son is a very shy and clingy child, but ever since attending this school (about 8 months now) I am slowly seeing his personality shine through. He is more willing to go out of his comfort zone to try new things and activities. When I pick him up from school, he will always tell me that it was fun! The teachers and staff here are all patient and caring. I really love that Ms. Tina, my son's teacher, goes above and beyond the curriculum to give her students an academic and musical head start with plenty of hands on activities. Sometimes my son will sing new songs at home and try to teach me the songs he learned from school. Another day I was reading a book to him and he suddenly pointed out that he also learned about the Eiffel Tower in class! The only problem now is that he is asking to see the real Eiffel Tower in person hahaha~ It's amazing that the teachers are able to expose students to all walks of life at such a young age using science, arts and crafts, and storytime. I highly recommend Little Seed for those who care about their children being well rounded, academically and emotionally. It's a bilingual program with English in the mornings and Mandarin in the afternoons. The school provides nutritious lunch meals all freshly cooked in house and uses brightwheel app so parents can see the daily activities their children do. She helped me check in and then provided an info packets of all the programs including an overview of the curriculum, school calendar, class schedule, and lunch & snack menu. I followed Bo from a daycare in Alhambra to when they first opened up Little Seed here in Walnut. I bring my 3.5 year old here all the way from San Gabriel Valley because no other day cares fit the critera that we have. First, we appreciate that they have their own in house chef who cooks healthy lunches every day. You can see they take really good care of their kitchen. Most daycares I've toured in 626 offers a variety of unhealthy meals and their menus are not as creative. Secondly, another important factor is that all the teachers here are always smiling and happy to greet your child. You can their passion and love in teaching. When they open the doors,they greet you with a smile and you can feel their sense of warmth and energy. Third, everything is clean and up to date. They have Hepa Air filters in the room which puts me as ease because at this developing age,I believe its crucial to have an clean environment. The classrooms are beautiful and decorated like a elementary classroom. I love their playground as theyre continously adding additonal things for the children to play. On top of that, I love that they have shades set up! My son LOVES Teacher Serena, Teacher Sunny, Teacher Angel and Bobo. He is continously learning and sharing what he has learned everyday with me. I like that he is learning Chinese as another language and they do not charge additional for that. Oh and I love their security door and how the doorbells cannot be rung during their naptime. This puts my heart at ease. That was another big plus for me! Highly recommend this preschool if you're looking for one for your little one. My daughter started when she was 18months. She's our first baby, as many new parents can imagine, we were so worry and anxious about sending her out. We looked around the area and both decided that this place would be the school for her. And man, it was the best decision ever. She's learned so much there, and we couldn't be happier with the love her teacher has given her. She comes home everyday and calls out her friends' names. On the weekend, she gets her backpack and waits by the door to go to school too. If you're looking for a school that truly cares about and loves your child, this would be the perfect school to go to. read more

Our experience with this school is mainly positive, with one glaring negative experience. The negative experience is due to the facility location. It is located adjacent to a police station with a helipad located right on the other side of the school fence. The helipad is literally 30 ft away from the outdoor play area of the school, with only a brick wall separating the two. My son witnessed helicopters landing twice with loud noise and vibrations and he subsequently developed a fear of helicopters. His pediatrician thinks he has PTSD, which also triggered a separation anxiety where he needed to be near his parents at all times to feel safe. Another aspect that made the situation worse was that the school kept insisting that my son's trauma was not because of helicopters, but that it was due to other causes. This explanation was completely bogus, as my son would always ask "Is it a helicopter?" as soon as he heard a noise that sounded like it might be a helicopter. It was only after we pressed them about the helicopters that they even owned up to the fact that a helicopter did indeed land on the helipad a week or so before the signs of PTSD became apparent. It's unfortunate, but we have to take off two stars from our baseline of a five star review due to this one glaring incident; one star for the poor location of the school, another for the school's unhelpful response to our inquiries after the incident had occurred. Moving past the one bad incident, we were pleased with the other aspects of the school. The facility appears very organized and clean. They have an in-house kitchen with staff preparing lunch everyday. Teachers teach to very high standards and hold high expectations. Both English and Chinese curriculums are taught at TK level. Students from TK class are very well prepared for Kindergarten with a knowledge of shapes/colors/phonics/numbers in both languages. Students are taught to read/write Chinese. The school is Christian based where morning prayer and bible stories take place everyday. read more

My daughter has been attending preschool in Little Seed Child Development Center since they opened this summer. She loves the new facility, her new friends and both her mandarin and English teachers. Every staff here is loving, understanding and very caring to the kids. She was having some tough time at the beginning when we drop her off in the morning.
