Amazing drinks but pretty expensive. But the employees are always friendly and their new location is bigger. Would come back again.

Not sure why I was expecting a bit more from this place, but I was excited to try their signature cheeseburger dumpling. It was just eh- Tasted like a pork dumpling and was slightly undercooked but extremely greasy. The sauce is good, portions are small $8 for 4 mini dumplings. Unfortunately wont be back.

We haven't tried the food here only the boba milk tea and we've loved it every time. Service has been good for the most part Also note that the food is not served in the containers they have displayed, they are served in regular takeout containers

This place it's always sooo good the Shrimp Dumplings never disappoints. The food it's always fresh and the orders come out super quick . Can't forget about the taro milk tea , my top choice for milk tea since it's so filling and with lychee jelly !

Came in for dinner on Thursday and the food was average at best. I had the soup dumplings $13 for 4 tiny not very hot soup dumplings that lacked flavor. I also tried the pecking duck bao buns which I liked very much. And to drink I had the strawberry boba tea. The service was good , but I wouldn't necessarily order here again.

Manager shamed and put down a 13 year old girl after making her order wrong.

Manager who too shamed and took advantage of a 13 year old girl. We ask them to fix it . He tried to confuse her. Saying that that's what she asked for. Even though the receipt stated that the order was different. She was already embarrassed, And he took advantage of her as she tried to get the Thai tea that she ordered. After she came back to the table, embarrassed that he tried to manipulate her. She tried to drink it, but she didn't like it . I went to go talk to them and ask them. And he tried to manipulate me saying that's what she ordered even though the man that took the order was going to originally fix it.

A great restaurant located at a hidden corner but honestly they should be front and center. Delicious food and great boba only comparable to the great service always provided by staff and Elizabeth. Highly recommend their boba matcha.

The only thing we enjoyed were the fried Spring Rolls, Fried Pork Dumplings, the steamed ones were gummy and the inside was lacking in taste. The service was quick and the ambiance was not bad since the mall was not full.

Dim Sum box

Bite size pieces, perfect as an appetizer on a half full stomach. There's wasn't much to write home about and the flavor could be taken up a notch. As far as sauces, maybe a sesame ginger soy sauce would be nice to add some Unami.

Only had the boba tea but the staff was kind and quick. the tea was refreshing and tasty. it took about 5 minutes from the moment i ordered to receiving my tea. pretty funny that they ask you what kind of color straw you want

Receipt

Awful service and mediocre over priced food... They want to charge for everything so don't even dare ask for water and the food takes forever... There was no line when i got there and the only 2 people after me gave me got their food before me.... It took 20 mins to get my food... she I see the person in the back she was eating and on her phone! I was super close to just getting a refund and leaving. I work in the mall and only have 30 mins to eat so this took my entire break. I eat at the food court of the mall often but I'm never going here no matter what.

Chicken dumplings

I've been wanting to try this place in the Treats Food Hall at Aventura Mall for a while, and finally did. I saw that the reviews were kind of hit or miss, and wanted to finally try it anyway. Although I am glad I finally scratched that itch, I don't know that it lived up to what I'd hoped. It drew me in with the Chinese steamer baskets stacked around the counters, which made me think the presentation and methods would be authentic. I'm not sure about the prep, but the dumplings I ordered came in a typical takeout box. I tried to ask the woman taking my order questions about the food or for a recommendation, and she wasn't helpful. I also got a mango milk tea. The chicken dumplings were good, but the mango milk tea barely had any flavor. The whole order (4 chicken dumpings and SMALL milk tea) was almost $20. It was alright, but the quality and amount of food definitely wasn't worth that high price. I'd rather go somewhere else and get better food for that same amount of money.

EDIT: Earlier tonight I had given a poor review based on the assumption that I had received less of…read moremy leftovers boxed than expected. It turns out that while some of what I paid for was not fully boxed to go as requested, one of my items (combination fried rice,) merely looked too small in the to go container. I assumed that after seeing the other container which was clearly missing a fair of congee, that the fried rice was also missing food but this was not that the case after putting it in a plate. I am correcting my review so as to not overreact and unfairly disparage an otherwise wonderful expereince. To start they have a very big menu, with a lot of choices. The food we received was very good food with good portions. Good, relaxed family atmosphere. The servers were nice as well. I had a great time while I was there and the food was priced affordably. I got the Szechuan pork intestine with hot peppers, Pork and thousand year old egg congee, the combination fried rice, crab rangoons, and Hong Kong Wonton Soup while my colleague got Egg Foo Young for herself. Each item was delicious and I highly recommend. Personally I have a very high spice tolerance so maybe be careful with the Szechuan pork intestines if you do not. I thought it was amazing, personally. This was also my first time having congee and the server chopped up the egg into pieces when she served it which was considerate of her. The pork was in small bits scattered throughout the congee and the flavor was wonderful, a very comforting dish. Got the HK Wonton soup based on recommendations from reviews online and it did not disappoint. The wontons are shrimp/pork I believe, and they were seasoned exquisitely which paired nicely with the subtle broth and the vegetables (I think baby bok choy and green onions). Crab rangoon did not disappoint either and was a great value for the quality and portion. Not to mention the great sauces they gave on the side (hot mustard, orange sauce, chili oil, andred sauce (for the rangoon)) as well as the hot tea they left in a kettle on the table (tasted like oolong but not sure). The tea in particular always welcome on my table to help digest such a feast. I really would like to give this place 5 stars. However, seeing as I did order a lot of food, when it came time to pay the check I asked for to-go containers. They asked to do it themselves to which I agreed. Unfortunately in this process, a fair amount of the congee, which I loved and wanted to eat later, was not packed. If they had run out of larger soup containers since it was the end of the evening I can understand that, but only giving me a small container that wasn't even filled is really regrettable. At least give me two of the smaller containers if that is the case, I know how much congee was left before handing it to be boxed and what I got was not even close. Realistically I can only mark down a maximum of 1.5 stars off from that but I am rounding up for conventional purposes because other from that misstep it was really a magnificent experience. I do recommend and I would return.

I love the roast duck and the bar-b-cue ribs... I usually get 1/2 & 1/2 with a side of rice. I walk across the street to the Beijing Supermarket and pick up some baby bok chop and go home. Kelly knows to put me some "real" Chinese hot mustard (not those packets). The last few times, I asked for wonton soup. Let me tell you, they have the best broth and absolutely, the best dumplings... I am not feeling well and was trying to figure out what could I possibly eat that stay down (common cold). I ordered a LARGE wonton soup. The lady than answered was not Kelly: $7.00; i could not believe it. I asked was she sure that was large, "Yes, a quart!" Let me tell you. it was full of dumplings, 8 to be exact. I was not sure that was enough, I ordered 2 more for a mere $1. something. I have been drinking my soup two meals now. It has stayed down and not annoyed my stomach and is just a great dish. I added a tiny bit of soy sauce; I elminated anything hot, which is what I normally do. I cannot recommend King's Palace. I have not dined in the restaurant since early this year; yesterday it was absolutely packed. I just called Kelly to get her name, she was so polite and told me "i'm really busy, is there something I can get you?" Yesterday, I have never seen a woman; the entire team move so fast serving as fast as they possibly could. Enjoy the Duck, the ribs or the soup. They are all on my Scrumpterou list!

It was delicious and I could eat this all day, everyday. The fried crab rangoon was also delicious and I will definitely order it again. The pork dumplings were tasty too. The special lomein had pork, chicken and shrimp and it was very good. It also came with white rice, which was had no seasoning, but that was expected. The special lomein is definitely a shareable dish. Overall, the service was good and the food was very tasty. I was also very surprised how affordable it was. Since then, the restaurant has changed names and hands several times, and I keep going back each time to try it. The last time we were there was a couple of years ago. We went for dim sum and were disappointed. Recently, people have been raving about the dim sum under the new ownership, so we went today after church to give it another try. It was jam packed. And after a 15-20 minute wait, we got a table. The restaurant had a crowd, so service was fast and furious. The table we got had spilled tea and the server simply sopped up the tea, using napkins and wiping the entire table with that pile of napkins, and then seated us. (What? No spray or fresh wipe?) We were hungry, sat, and grabbed a few of our favorite items from the rolling carts. We would give the dim sum a solid 7 out of 10, although we thought the rice paper wrapping on some of the items is a bit thicker than we like. Things like the sticky rice, which usually has chopped chicken, pork, shrimp, and Chinese sausage, basically had chopped meat and a little bit of sausage. The football-shaped fried taro dumplings were crispy and tasty but we did not like the filling. The rolling carts give the experience a more authentic feel. I would add a half star for the ambience and freshness of the food. So, 3.5 stars. (Yelp doesn't allow half stars.) However, we have a favorite dim sum restaurant in Pembroke Pines and would rather drive all the way there from Plantation to enjoy a 5-star dim sum experience.
