I keep hoping to get lucky and find a decent Chinese restaurant comparable to what I found regularly in Southern California, but alas the search continues. Panda Wok delivers and the prices are good. However, based on our first meal, the entrees are hit or miss. The pork and beef items were not tasty, but the chicken and shrimp were good. My Mongolian beef was very gristly and bland. Hubby's pork was so so also. The highlight was the chicken they gave us with our order. The funny thing was I was afraid to order chicken because most places I have tried in Florida seem to serve chicken that tastes like stale wood. This chicken was actually tender, juicy and very flavorful. Since I didn't even order it, I will have to call them and ask what it was. The container only said "Free" on it. The Lo Mein was good enough. I have had a lot worse in South Florida, so there's that. They delivered on time, which is good. About that, it's really cheap! $5,99 for an enormous plate (2 meats+choice of noodles/rice) and Wonton soup! The beverage is $1,50 for unlimited soda filling. They have a ton of choices too. Try the orange chicken and the boneless ribs. Only con, it's not vegetarian friendly. They have vegetables, lo mein with veggies but nothing with nuts only. It's your typical Chinese restaurant that needs that updating but I just try to look beyond that. The trays of food that is available right away are all chicken dishes and some sides; egg rolls, spring rolls or fried chicken. The chicken choices have orange chicken, mushroom chicken, hibachi, chicken & shrimp and they even have a dish of beef and broccoli. The rest of the dishes would have to be ordered. It doesn't take that long at all, they are pretty quick and efficient. The soup that they have are wonton soup,hot & sour and egg drop. Prices are not bad at all and reasonable. You can either get a 2 entree meal or a 3 entree meal for about $6.50-7.50 and soup is included. This place isn't bad at all, i keep coming back for more. So it's a good thing. I have been on the hunt for a solid Chinese food spot and what pleasantly surprised with Panda Wok. My first order was a delivery order off eat24 and it arrived at my house in under 30 minutes. They threw in some free orange chicken and were generous with utensils and sauce packets which was much appreciated. The food was THE freshest tasting Chinese food I have had in years. My go to order is Buddah's Delight with Tofu and Veggie Fried rice and all four times I've had it it has been great. My mom loves their fried chicken wings and hibachi dinner combos. Got a flyer from this place in the mail and have tried them twice. It's official- there are no decent Chinese takeouts in this area :( Both times, I've ordered "chicken" dishes: first time General Tso's, second time Hibachi (which other yelpers had left positive feedback for.) Both were terrible. Not only the execution but honestly the product itself I'm pretty sure is NOT chicken. The texture is unlike any meat I've ever consumed and not in a good way, and I've had plenty of Chinese food and am not picky at all. This place is consistently good. The seafood Lo mein had crab, scallops, shrimp, fish...really good. The bucket of fried rice is a favorite of ours. It's literally a bucket full of rice.
