I was really lucky to know have my closest family friends (they are like me parents) be under his care for the past 15 years; they are almost 80 and thriving directly due to being under Dr. Breen's care. I waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room, they called me in, then I waited another 15 minutes before I got to see Dr. Mai. One reason why Dr. Mai decided to stop taking patients for the time being is precisely because she wanted to give more quality of care to her current patients. I can appreciate that. She walked in and she was SO YOUNG I was caught off guard! But she already has two teenage kids. I found out that she graduated med school at the age of 22 and had her kids at 24 while she was finishing up residency. Ask her to tell you her story, it's crazy! She's the sweetest person too. FREE COVID test (there is another test option that you need to pay for), NO line, and QUICK testing…read moreprocess! I made an appt day of about an hour before at the Santa Ana location. Very easy to do online. Once they confirm the appointment they send you a link to fill up the standard COVID questions. When you arrive there are signs to guide you to the testing area. You stay in the car till you have checked in. My link did not work for me, so I had to go up to the table to scan a QR code. TIP: HAVE ZOOM INSTALL ON YOUR PHONE! Luckily I did but they may have other options but not sure because I already had zoom. Then you will have a zoom meeting with the PA to quickly go over why you are taking a COVID test. Literally took less than a minute and then she will approve you to take the test. After that you go up to the line and they took me right away because there was no line (I went on a Monday at 11:30am not sure if it was because it was just not a busy day if that's how it usually is). Then they give you the test, it was the nose swab test. They just kind of swirl the swab like 5 times maybe in each nostril like midway not like before where it was deep inside your nose painful lol. Then you're done! Easy! I initially chose this location for testing because online it said same day results. However when I got there the PA and the person that gave me the test said 2-3 days. So I guess the same day results test is for the one you have to pay for maybe? Regardless, I would definitely recommend that spot if you need to get tested.

EDIT: Even worse, I just got an email from them with my rapid antigen test results, for a swab…read morecollection that never happened! I called them and they said they cancelled it so my insurance won't be billed. They had no idea how a test result could have been produced for a sample collection that never even took place. I asked them for email confirmation that the charge to my insurance was cancelled, and they haven't provided anything. Yikes. I called ahead to check where the testing site would be because I know the address and had never seen any COVID testing there. The representative on the phone told me it would be outside in the parking lot under a blue tent. I showed up and there was no blue tent to be found. Called them and they said it's under a blue tent. Then they checked further and found it was actually inside an office today. Once there, I was asked to scan a QR code, which took me to a website where I was supposed to video chat with a random NP, which I had not been informed was a requirement for getting the PCR test through insurance. The call kept dropping and the employees told me to keep trying. It turned into too much of a hassle so I decided not to do the PCR there. I had also asked the employees if we could do the test outside, and they were like "... If you want, but you still need to do all the check-in here first." I had picked this location because the site and representative told me it would be outside and the reviews said the process would be easy. Looks like they need to work on their consistency.
