Erin was incredibly easy to work with and super accommodating. The shop has a great open space in the back, which was perfect for the party. Erin assembled a beautiful selection of succulents, colored sand, shells, moss, and other unique accents, and led the girls through a fun and easy-to-follow tutorial on how to build their own terrariums. The vibe was very cool and creative. The girls had the best time making their gorgeous little creations, while the parents enjoyed browsing the shop's thoughtfully curated selection of goods. Erin and Sien were both wonderfully engaging and added so much to the experience. After the workshop, the girls walked over to Ice Cream Luv just a few doors down to wrap up the celebration with a sweet treat. It was the perfect afternoon at a perfect location for a memorable birthday party. This venue would also be ideal for Girl Scouts or other group gatherings--fun, educational, hands-on, well-priced, and in a warm, welcoming space. Thank you, Acorn Eagle Rock!

I was looking for a replacement for my favorite pair of pants, and found some (the Ripley Raders)…read moreon Garmentory from Ri Ri Ku that fit the bill. I got them in the mail, along with a free tube of lipstick with--complete genius--a built-in mirror (how does every lipstick not have this)! Then I tried to get the pants on and found I couldn't get them past the top of my thighs. I was a bit devastated as I have been pretty frugal lately and was looking forward to buying my first piece of clothing in quite a while. The pants had been marked final sale on Garmentory, but in total desperation I phoned the store. Andie answered and instead of the let-down I was expecting, she patiently explained that the style is pretty tight at the top and I should try to work with them, but that in the mean time she would ship another pair of pants in the next size up and I could keep whichever fit better! I was so relieved and so grateful! While waiting for the other pair, I tried to get into the first pair I had ordered again, and with some help from some tights, I got them on. I realized she was totally right, and that they would probably keep getting a little easier to put on after that and that I did indeed have the correct size as the top fit perfectly once they were on. Overall, Andie just went above and beyond making sure that I was happy with the pants, and was so patient and kind, even when the first replacement pair got lost in the mail. She seems like a truly sweet person and I hope I can support her store more in the future.

Back in December I discovered that they also do interior design and decorating. My husband and I employed Tamar's help in staging our home for sale and were AMAZED at the transformation she brought to it. She clearly has a talent and vision for arranging a space and making it special, and took her time to try several different combinations of furniture, art and accessories to achieve the maximum appeal. She managed to do all this within our budget. Her help played a big role in the sale of our place. We are in the process of buying a new home and there is simply no question that Tamar will be there on day one to head us in the right direction. She is a true professional and we can't recommend her highly enough- I am sure that you will love what she can do in your your space as well. Tamar, you're awesome. Thanks!

And goodies checks off all those boxes. Whether it's a beautifully crafted or sourced marble stands, that's a perfect addition to a bookshelf, really great plates, a Matcha set, or my personal favorite, random vases goodies has it all. I would also keep an eye out on their Instagram so you can get their harder pieces, like the ladder, stools, as well as great teakwood, charcuterie boards.

Really disappointing experience, especially because I was genuinely excited to get these stools…read more I ordered two A-Frame Curved Stools on May 17. On June 12, Goodies texted me: "We got your pre order for END OF AUGUST pick up" and "We will send you a text when it's ready for pick up." August came and went with no update. I followed up myself in mid-September and was told, "our factory messed up this particular style and the corrected shipment will arrive second week of oct." Four months after ordering, I still don't have the stools. I understand production problems happen. My issue is the lack of communication or accountability. When I expressed frustration about the delay, the response was simply, "we can issue you a refund if you'd like." I've also seen other customers describe similar experiences with delays and poor communication, so mine does not seem unique. I still really liked the stools, but the way this order has been handled has been very frustrating.

I drive @45 minutes to get there and had actually selected a jacket for myself. I tried on the jacket and noticed that there was a $32 discrepancy between the coat on line versus in the store. I waited in the long line (holiday sale prompted throngs) and told (& showed her the jacket I had saved in my phone) the owner what happened. She asked me to wait to check. I waited a good 15 plus minutes during which time her assistant took down the coat from the web site and made it reflect the higher price. Then she brightly asked if I wanted to try it on again and I said no, I need to leave and then she said she wouldn't honor the price that was listed on line stating it was a human error and she was running a small business. I think it is bad form to not honor the price that was listed. She has known than I've brought friends who have spent significant money in her store and I come to her from great distance for years...this was their mistake and I think it's extremely poor form to not honor what was listed. This is customer service at its worse. So much for loyalty. I could easily have bought the jacket on line and picked it up at the store but I thought that would not have integrity. Unbeknownst to me - and I should have been more vigilant in reviewing past customer's experience - I discovered that there were iterations of the EXACT same chair (same dimensions, color, material, etc) selling on WALMART AND HOME DEPOT, WAYFAIR, AND TEMU for a fraction of the price. I paid $250 per chair following their $20% off sale; originally it was $275 per chair, and on Home Depot's website, for example, it is listed as $145 for a SET OF 2. I genuinely thought I was supporting the purchase of an upcycled piece that was previously used and refitted into something new - thereby reducing waste. I see on the website now that they sell it as a newly made contemporary piece. HOWEVER - why even market yourself as the purveyor of MCM "vintage" and "upcycled" pieces when you're just going to sell drop ship pieces from China. They literally purchased it brand new and just sold it for a 348% mark up. Again - that's a 348% MARK UP. I'm more so disappointed in myself in not being as vigilant about this and falling for the "cute vintage store on the corner of the street" appeal.
