Yessy's Pizza and More! is hands-down the best pizza in Pittsburg and no other place even comes close. I ordered an extra-large triple pepperoni with extra cheese and added sausage plus a large pepperoni with extra cheese. I added fresh garlic to both pizzas and asked for them well done for that crunch something about hand tossed crispy dough gets me every time. The crunchy crust was delicious perfectly cooked and. Something about that fresh garlic I just cannot quit regardless of the heartburn!!! I also got a side of garlic bread with cheese and it was just as incredible crispy, cheesy and loaded with that garlic flavor. On top of that I've had their garlic pupusas and they are also fire. Everything here is consistently amazing. There's something about the cheese that they use. It has texture and bite to it! This place deserves its own location. If you're anywhere near Pittsburg and you're not eating here you're missing out. are you garlic lovers out there try this place out if you like flimsy pizza get it normal if you like crispy pizza get it extra well done or even well done eat it from the crust down. First time pick up review let's get into it . If I haven't said it enough already , being from east Oakland and being spoiled by all the authentic Mexican / Salvadoran / all the ethnic food groups back home . I've had a struggle finding things in the Pitt without seeming like a spoiled brat lol . This morning i was really craving pupusas . I follow a few foodies from the area on instagram and yessys always pops up for pizza and pupusas ! So I said F it let's give them a try . Pulling up it is located inside of laraza market which is next door to the gas station . Kind of a convenient one stop shop if you ask me :) there's parking infront of the store . When you walk inside they have a few tables for eating nothing fancy . I ordered a bean and cheese and pork and cheese pupusa . They said about ten minutes which I don't mind because I know they're making it fresh right there . I went to the market side , grabbed my squirt , sat in my car , played like 2 songs and went back in . They were ready to go . I don't live too far . So when I got home they were still piping hot ! Packaged nicely ( the sauce and cortido of course was in bags but that's how I'm used to it lol ) they were yummy ! Dough wasn't too thick . The cheese pull was pretty nice and it was the perfect balance of the pork with the cheese and beans not one taking over the other . Pork had great flavor as well as the beans . Their cortido lacked a little of that tang I look for but besides that . 10/10 I think I found my pupusa spot out here . They serve more than pupusas so I'll have to come back and try their pizza I've heard they make good New York pizzas and you can order by the slice plus other items as well . Tried this place for the first time. My husband noticed this place when leaving my daughter's ballet class. We haven't eaten out recently and thought to try this place out. They told my husband that there are known for their garlic oil so he requested to have it on our pizzas. We ordered a medium pepperoni and large meat liver with sub meats (took out some for extra pepperoni and bacon) both with extra cheese, and 2 cheese pupusas. If you're a garlic lover, this place is for you. Not overwhelming but enough to satisfy. The crust is a little thin and crispy. Very happy with both pizzas and pupusas. I know what you're thinking, but it's in a liquor store. Don't let the location full you, this place is bomb! First off the pizza - finally a New York style pizza place!! We have some good pizza places in Pittsburg but nowhere to get a good old fashioned slice of NY style pizza. The flavor is good, big slice, crispy, chewy crust and the price is good as well. Now to the El Salvadorian food. While I'm an expert in pizza, not so much on this but I can tell you the pupusas were really tasty and everything was nice and fresh. I tried a few things I never had they recommended and they were really good as well. But mostly I'm stoked we finally have a place to just get a slice!! Was in the mood for Pizza so i googled some pizza spot around us. This popped up and saw that they also sold Salvadoran food so my wife and i decided to check it out. We ordered a slice of pepperoni and a Hawaiian slice, the pizza was super crispy and delicious. We also ordered a Pupusa revuelta and a pupusa de la casa which has all ingredients in it. The pupusas were top tier, gives any pupusa in town a run for their money. Also ordered a yuca frita con chicharrón, it was delicioso! Cant recommend this spot more! Friendly staff and great food! Almost happy with the pizza, but agreeing with Tabitha that this is the closest East Coast-style pizza in these lonely parts of East County. Talked to the pizza chef who revealed he used to make pizza in NYC and New Jersey....so, this particular pizza flavor took me back more than 25 years ago my first time in the East Coast. It would have been PERFECT with white sauce or pesto base that wasn't available, so I directed them to simply use olive oil. I would have also preferred the crust to be thinner, but at least it's not the thick crust that dislike. Yet at home, I had to kick it up with funky parmesan cheese and at times a sprinkling of salt to wake up the broccoli. Here's to appreciating a hole-in-the-wall pizzeria that is only a five-minute drive from me. Another culinary "win" for Old Town Pittsburg. Yay! read more

As a picky Salvadorean, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the pupusas were! The pupusas, salsa, and curtido all tasted very traditional and authentic, and even the pizza was surprisingly good. Don't let the location fool you--the flavor here is outstanding. The only suggestion I'd make is to enhance the look and organization of the space, but overall, the food truly shines. Highly recommend! The owners are super friendly too! read more

Omgggg y'all Pittsburg is sleeping on this pizza & pupusa spot. It's inside a liquor store, does look kinda off but don't let that fool you. The service is good everything taste fresh. I was excited to hear that a new Salvadorean restaurant opened up out here so we gave it a try today. It is located inside a Hispanic supermarket next to a Valero gas station. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman, who showed us the menu. They had a wide selection of food including pizza. We ordered the papusas- chicken, zucchini, and spinach with cheese. I also ordered a side of rice and beans and a horchata. The presentation of the food was appealing, with the perfect portions of rice, beans, and a generous side of curtido and salsa. The papusas tasted good, with a soft masa exterior and a warm cheesy interior. I felt that the amount of cheese, however, was a little overpowering and would have preferred more of a focus on the vegetables. The chicken tasted incredibly good. The rice and beans were delicious too - enjoyed the red bean puree. My wife felt that the curtido flavors were imbalanced and we both felt the horchata was way too sweet and it just didn't taste right. Nothing worth complaining about (minor issues), but something they could work on is achieving a better balance of ingredients and flavor. They were so friendly and helpful at this restaurant - we will most certainly come back. I would like to try one of their chicken entrees next time! read more

Great customer service. The Food I went for the pupusa's. Now I find hole in walls have the best tasting food. I ordered like 20 all different flavors. All very Delicious big and thick. As El Salvadoran who came from the city (SF) my self, I find pride in writing this. Me and my buddy have been looking for THE papusa spot. We are aware of the multiple spots that sell papusas in the Pittsburg/ Antioch area, but hands down this is the best spot for papusas. Does that surprise you because of the name of the place? It should because they make pizzas here. And let me tell ya, the pizza here is by far the best authentic pizza you can find that's not a chain restaurant. It comes with thin crust, but crunchy.
