I popped into this cute shop several times during our vacation in Solana Beach. It's right in the middle of the Cedros Design District and so fun to explore - filled with everything from local items (like gifts, candles, postcards, art, etc.) to vintage home decor and even records in the back! The staff were always super friendly, too - just a great store all around!

Randomly popped in here while walking by not knowing what I would get myself into. I was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of old and new (clothing, home goods, vinyls, rugs, candles). My favorite area of the store was a curated assortment of home decor, art and furniture that was likely sourced from the likes of estate sales. I bought a painting that was reasonably priced and had my eye on a few other items. I feel their pricing is fair and they have goods at all price points. Service was warm and helpful. I look forward to returning everytime I'm in the area.

Delightful treasures!

It's a nice cafe in Solana Beach. The service is amazing and their specialty Lattes are what I go for. I enjoy the French and Brazilian cafe music they play in the background. I enjoyed the coastal breeze. While you sip and enjoy a treat you can perhaps play tic tac toe and or other games on the front patio/ picket fenced in yard. Super cute place! The Lattes I go for are The Gardener (lavender, honey, vanilla) and The Farmer(vanilla and brown sugar). Made with organic espresso and love. We've even enjoyed visiting the bunnies for 22$ per person (plus tip if you'd like too) gives you about 20-30 minutes of interaction with the bunnies. You sign a waiver with the host and they'll give you instructions on the rules. You might even get to feed them too. I loved it so much! I grew up with bunnies as pets so this was soooo nostalgic for me! Come and support this family owned business and perhaps pet a bunny. You'll like it a lotte! *they do have a handwashing station too. In case you are wondering about that.

Came in for a coffee, accidentally enrolled in a masterclass on How Not to Order Coffee…read more I ordered a cappuccino and asked for it iced. Apparently this was a deeply offensive request, because I was immediately informed, "So really you just want a short latte," followed by a staff discussion about how people don't know how to order coffee. Then, while I was simply standing there waiting for the drink I had paid for, they started making comments about me waiting. Truly fascinating. I didn't realize there was also a correct and incorrect way to stand near a coffee counter. Eventually they wrote "cap" on my cup and called it out, so I grabbed it and said, "Thanks for my short latte." For a place serving coffee, they somehow managed to make ordering one feel like an oral exam I had failed. If you enjoy being lightly bullied by your barista over espresso terminology, this may be your spot. I personally will be getting my incorrectly named beverages elsewhere.

I love going to this location of West Elm in Solana Beach. It's fun to wander through the storeroom, I always find something I like. And there are a lot of displays of different rooms giving you tons of ideas for your own needs. And I always check out the little sale area because you can often get the coolest items to accent your dining table or whatever. The staff are really helpful.

Upon walking in I saw two staff members talking to each other. I wandered the entire store and not once did anyone acknowledge me. Pretty surprising since there was only one other customer in the store. Another customer came in, and had to find a sales person to help her with her purchase. The other customer I saw also had to track down a sales person to ask a question. I wasn't in there very long and I saw a few things that I really liked. Some prices were reasonable and some were pretty expensive. Just depends on what you were looking for. I will probably look online to use that gift certificate unless I want to see the item in person first. It shouldn't be difficult to get help in a store or at the very least be acknowledged.
