I took my Honda civic and they said I blew a gasket so automatically they charge me $2500, two weeks later check engine light went on, another issue, told me it was the catalytic converter, a job that will cost another $1300, my only regret taking my car here is that they can't guarantee me that the car won't have repeated issues, and every time I took it, there was a ridiculous charge, I woulda listened to honest advice from Adolfo if he woulda just said all the repairs he told me was worth more than the car itself... he made it seem like they could fix the car.. but issue after issue, more charges, it didn't seem like they were looking out for me, I think I was over charged and the warranty by the way.. didn't matter, they couldn't fix the car or give me an honest to goodness explanation.. don't take it here.. you'll lose both arms and legs to pay. read more

On my Mercedes there was an issue with starting, I got it back from the shop and then, there just happened to be another issue after I took it home from the shop. I had a radiator leak and my car was overheating one night so decided to ask a friend to help fix my car and then last minute they decided they wouldn't be able to help and I have been around mechanics who try to rip you off and tell you a bunch of things that need to be done to your car and etc to take your money. I found this place last minute and Adolfo was nice to take in my car with the radiator I bought from somewhere else. I was very pleased that it was affordable to not only get my radiator replaced, but also my air intake tube (that I also bought somewhere else) and my oil change. All for under $300. I live only 10 minutes away from this location and he offered me a ride home and also picked me up as soon as my car was ready! I felt safe and cared for. As I'm writing this, I get a call from Adolfo to tell me he even tried fixing the dent on my bumper (free of charge). I will continue to take my car here! So glad I found this shop! They were honest with their pricing, friendly service, offered to drive me home while my car was getting repaired. My first repair was my engine mount and solenoid oil control valve. They found the issue, lifted my car and showed me exactly where and what needed to be fixed, and charged me about $1400 for both. Other shops in the area were quoting me about $2000+, and didn't even go as far as showing me exactly what needed to be fixed. I frequent this shop for any of my car issues, even going on a road trip and needing my car inspected to ensure safe travels! I always feel remembered and welcomed here! My only concern is difficulty calling. Sometimes it is hard to reach them via phone. P'J'S Jeep FINALLY!!!! For year's I have taken my Jeep Wrangler to a "long beach JEEP SOLUTION specialist" and never received a solution to something as simple as a turn signal. After receiving years of grimey snake oil-ish customer service foolishness and after the spending of hundreds and hundreds and more hundreds and hundreds of dollars, I was finally done with being milked. For example my AC repair ended up as " a HOT MESS". Yes it's true my ac did blow cool air but in exchange of cool air I would have to tolerate a puddle of water "INSIDE" the vehicle..... That's it!!!!! No more milking of the loyal cash cow!! Meanwhile, as we all know, any end of any type relationship the is usually unnerving no matter how necessary it is. Nevertheless, upon the ending of this business relationship I was left with the task of finding a new mechanic. OMG but who can I trust to fix this mess I was left with? My GMC Acadia had quite a few things that needed work. Before taking it to this place, I used to take it to the dealership, and the repair cost estimate was too high. So I went on Yelp, searched for a GMC repair shop, and decided to give this place a try. The cost for the repair was decent. Left it for 1.5 days, and got it back. The car sounded good without any issues after the repair, the dashboard LED lights that were there before were gone. Everything seemed fine. After picking it up, and driving it for an hour, some of previous LED light popped up again. Took it back, and without charge left it for a few days, now the car is good. The owner is very friendly. According to him, I have a year warranty. I will definitely take it for repairs. I like people that honor their words. read more

Wow! I came to this shop 8 months ago for brake service. Adolfo, the owner quoted me a price and I left my car for the work to be done. When I came to pick up my car, he explained that he had found an issue with a part that the previous mechanic either messed up or didn't fix, he fixed it and didn't charge me extra for the part or labor. Last week, at almost closing time, I took the same car in because it was making a noise that I thought was related to the suspension. They did a quick assessment and said it might be the wheel bearing, but would need to look at it closer. I took the car in today and they found that the rotors were warped and the break pads needed replacing (this is unusual for me, but my husband has been driving the car more as of late and he is much harder on brakes than I am), I digress. Anyhow, Adolfo resurfaced the rotors, and replaced the pads under warranty and did not charge me a cent. For this reason I am writing a review, which is not something I'm in the habit of doing.
